A simple traffic stop in Grand Rapids turned into a full blown fight after a passenger refused to cooperate. Cops pulled the car over because someone wasn't wearing a seatbelt. The guy refused to show ID, refused to get out, and just kept ignoring commands. After a long standoff, officers had to physically drag him out of the car. That's when things got violent. During the struggle, one officer ended up with a broken leg and torn ligaments serious injuries just from trying to do his job. The suspect was arrested and is now facing charges like resisting and obstructing police causing injury. And all of this started over a seatbelt.
