Windows is silently stealing your internet. Windows reserves 20% of your network bandwidth for system updates. You need to find 'QoS Packet Scheduler' and disable it immediately.

After 10,000+ PC optimizations, one thing AMD players almost always get wrong: Wrong USB port. AMD CPUs have dedicated USB controllers connected directly to the processor, lower latency, more stable input. Your mouse, keyboard, or controller should be there. Intel doesn't have this, just use the rear motherboard ports. HW Info shows you exactly which ports are CPU-direct. The video below walks you through it. Plug in wrong = free latency you didn't sign up for.

Why are top players ignoring Epic's "Performance" mode? Our testing reveals Legacy mode delivers 12% more FPS and less input lag. That's why #1 Fortnite player Peterbot hasn't switched. This is why clients get settings that actually perform, not just what sounds good.

I've been gatekeeping this for months. Windows steals 30-40% of your FPS through background bloat. I built a tool that reclaims it in one click. Completely free. No BS. Download:

Here is how to check if you have a GPU bottleneck in Fortnite in 10 seconds. Look at your FPS with 3D Res at 100%. Then drop it to 70% or lower. If your FPS does NOT go up, you do not have a GPU bottleneck. Lowering 3D Res makes your GPU render fewer pixels. If the GPU was actually holding you back, less pixels means more FPS. If nothing changes, your GPU was never the problem.

If your Fortnite FPS dropped and input lag got worse, this is why. DirectX 11 + Performance Mode. 100+ FPS back. Input lag gone. 30 seconds to fix.

I've optimized over 10,000 PCs including some of the top pros in the game. these are the three mouse settings nobody talks about Motion sync- turn it off it tells your sensor to wait before sending data to your PC. sounds smart but at 1000hz it's adding delay to every single packet your mouse sends. it's on by default on most mice (higher polling rate doesn't suffer as much with this on) DPI - set it to 1600 if you're still on 400 DPI your sensor needs way more physical movement before it registers anything. going from 400 to 1600 cuts around 5ms of delay on slow tracking. just lower your in-game sens to match Competition/esports mode - turn it on your mouse goes into a low power sleep state when you're holding still. when you go for that micro adjustment it has to wake up first. that wake up costs you anywhere from 2 to 10ms on the most important movement in a gunfight. this mode keeps the sensor fully awake at all times
