A student pilot experiences his first fully developed spin during emergency maneuver training with an aerobatic instructor. Having only practiced incipient spins before, he entered the spin at 6,700 ft, started recovery at 4,500 feet using the Beggs-Mueller method, and leveled out safely at 3,200 ft. 📹: coryjeacocke

The “underpowered bus” Early Airbus A340-200/-300 models ended up with smaller engines after a promised higher-thrust powerplant never materialized, forcing Airbus to proceed with less powerful CFM56-5C engines than originally planned. Boeing 707 low pass at Mashonaland Flying Club Air Day in Harare Zimbabwe back in 1995. First pass was around 400 knots at extremely low altitude followed by a second slow pass at 125 knots with flaps 40. Seeing a jet that size moving that low and that fast is unreal. 📹: Rory Standish-White

Since its upload in 2017, the viral Emirates A380 crosswind landing filmed by CargoSpotter has later been complemented by footage recorded by a passenger onboard the very same flight! While the outside angle clearly shows the aircraft's swinging movements, rudder inputs and continuous crosswind corrections, the cabin view demonstrates how differently the same landing is experienced from inside the aircraft. 📹: cargospotter

While the DC-8 typically rotated in the 150-160-knot range, Concorde often delayed rotation until roughly 220 knots due to its slender delta wing design. Despite the higher Vr, Concorde still achieved airborne status first thanks to its exceptionally high thrust-to-weight ratio and the Rolls-Royce/Snema Olympus 593 turbojets, which delivered greater combined takeoff thrust than the DC-8's entire engine suite. 📹: Oddgeirsson

In December 2013, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 767 flight ET815 from Addis Ababa to Kilimanjaro mistakenly touched down at Arusha Airport, around 50 km from its intended destination. The aircraft managed to stop on Arusha's 1,620m/5,314ft runway, stopping near its end. The nose gear became stuck in soft ground while maneuvering. The video shows the 767 taking off two days later. 📹: andersons
