──Fact: ViVi uses the leitmotif representing Odd Eye Circle in Everyday I Love You. Giving a hint from the beginning that she is connected to the sub unit by having an ODD.

Maybe the boycott is over, but I still have to listen to this banger from my local files.

─Fact: In case you didn't know, Loona has a leitmotif that appears in their subunits and later in their songs as a full group. The interesting thing is that this same leitmotif could be a clear reference to the intro melody of snsd's Into The New World.

Bye xo, my cyberlove you were unfairly dismissed even by the company itself, but you'll never be forgotten.

Reminder that today, March 12, marks 6 years since LOONA won their first award on a music show with "So What."

─Fact: In Singing in the Rain are musical elements that represent water, the most obvious is this part. Begins with a descending arpeggio on B, which sounds as if you were jumping into the water. The C# (from Dorian) emphasizes this mysterious sound, like a siren’s call.

I managed to extract Gowon's backup vocals from "One & Only" during the final chorus, and honestly, it's beautiful. The harmony and attention to detail are incredible, it's something you don't notice on a first listen.

—Fact: The way TTYL is structured mimics a phone call. HY, YJ, GW, and Hyeju ask the question, and ViVi is the one who answers them all over the phone, thanks to the effect of her voice and to reinforce the fact that she’s an android.

─Fact: In Sonatine, they use the theremin before the lines where ViVi sings to musically symbolize that she is an android.

─Fact: The reason the drop in Love Cherry Motion sounds the way it does is cause it’s in the Phrygian (dominant) mode: It’s this scale that creates that dark, oriental, Bollywood sound. Right in the chorus, Choerry’s voice gives a little taste of what’s to come. #HappyChoerryDay

To reiterate, the most interesting things that have come out of Loona musically are the ones that fans are most ignoring.

─Fact: Ex Machina is out of tune (F/F#) but aside of a stylistic device, it’s actually meant to represent the limbo b/w the human and robotic. Yves sings the correct key cause she's the robot, perfection. The instrumental is out of tune cause it represents the human, imperfect.

Here's a preview of what I've been working on with the Girl Front score to see if you like it. It's pretty simple at first (except for the arpeggios in the intro 😭), but it's supposed to get more difficult as it goes along.
