Earlier today, a young woman battling drug addiction told me how exhausted she is and that she wants to quit. No distraction or mislabeling will deter me from the work to reclaim our streets, support those who want help, and free our communities from drugs.

If the clowns in red who broke Ekurhuleni are what Malema calls experienced, he can keep it. The EFF's record speaks for itself, a legacy of failure and broken promises. He fears the vigilante, and he should, because I’m coming to kick down the doors they hide behind.

It is no surprise that those desperate to stop our fight to fix Ekurhuleni have launched another round of attacks. I warned that while drug syndicates are dangerous, the most dangerous criminals sit behind government desks. Watch them panic and try to silence us… Asijiki 🇿🇦

Last night we were on the ground in Primrose, Germiston, cleaning our streets and reclaiming our communities. What has become abundantly clear is that Ekurhuleni faces a serious and growing crisis of hijacked properties.

While it is our constitutional right to protest, we equally recognize that there are forces who seek to exploit these moments to advance their own agendas. I call on everyone marching tomorrow to act lawfully and keep to the message.

We just took a drug dealer off our streets! Too many shops in our towns are fronts for criminals. Today we exposed one: a so-called Motor Spares shop hiding a drug den.

The attacks I have faced for protecting the youth from drugs prove how deep criminality runs. I entered the race for Ekurhuleni mayor because I want to fight this from inside government — without fear, without favour, and with safety first.

[BUSTED] The operation last night was a success, with three suspects taken into custody in Brakpan. The Immigration Amendment Bill is also making progress, aiming to address the arrest and detention of illegal foreigners for deportation purposes.

I’m running for Mayor of Ekurhuleni because it’s unacceptable that criminals caught on Sizokthola are back on our streets days later. I want to see them in jail, deported if they’re foreign nationals, and kept off our streets for good. I am stepping forward, to deliver real accountability, enforce the law without fear or favor, and make Ekurhuleni safe again.

Today, I am with the residents of Vosloorus and Ekurhuleni as we march in solidarity with the Kubheka family, demanding answers for their missing son, Mazwi. Let’s be clear, it cannot be business as usual while a child of this community remains missing. #BringMzawiBack

Tonight on Sizok’thola, we look at drug dens masquerading as legitimate businesses in our towns. The national effort to combat drug abuse is not yielding the desired results. The challenge is worsening, and those actively involved in the fight are increasingly facing attacks.

We respond to anything that threatens the livelihoods of the residents of Ekurhuleni and enforce the Rule of Law. As mayor, I will prioritise Small Scale Mining to unlock jobs & local opportunities. Leveraging abandoned mines to drive Ekurhuleni’s development.

The Gauteng Anti-Crime Unit took action in Etwatwa, Ekurhuleni, targeting drug dealers and community terrorizers. Crushing the drug syndicate is a top priority, with a goal of making Ekurhuleni drug-free. #RuleOfLaw

We are proceeding to the Vosloorus Police Station. The IO must account to this community with a full update from SAPS. Law enforcement bears the ultimate responsibility to crack this case. They must mobilise every available resource and leave no stone unturned. #BringMazwiBack

This morning, I would like to extend special appreciation to Adv. Zola Majavu for his exceptional work ethic and for making himself available whenever drug syndicates seek to undermine our efforts. Another victory in a case that should never have been brought before the courts.

In Kagiso today, the operation resulted in the recovery of a suspected unlicensed firearm and ammunition. What is deeply troubling is the growing involvement of our youth in criminal activity. This cannot be normalized.

A major successful operation in Kempton Park last night. Drugs off the streets, suspects apprehended! Residents of Ekurhuleni let’s work together to defeat this drug epidemic. A sober society is key to rebuilding our communities. Sending love and appreciation to you all.

I am outside Rabasotho Community Centre in Tembisa listening to the frustrations of residents. It is clear that there is a breakdown of communication between the city and residents, something that needs to be arrested as a matter of urgency.

This government continues to turn a blind eye to the crisis of hijacked buildings. Illegal activity is flourishing within them, and if we fail to take back these structures, we risk the total decay of our cities. We have just concluded an operation in Boksburg.
