YEA is currently facing numerous challenges, the priority should be rolling up sleeves and getting to work, engaging stakeholders, and addressing the issues at hand —These are the videos Ghanaians want to see, NOT a public officer going to work with a guard holding his bag. We are aware of the past excesses—like the V8 vehicle and staff carrying a chair around—but that doesn't mean the NDC should repeat such frivolity and unnecessary display of "kokotiiness." As a newly appointed appointee, every action taken must be weighed carefully, particularly in terms of public perception. Actions like this raise concerns about extravagance and professionalism and although seemingly minor, can contribute to making the government appear disconnected and out of touch. There are elders at "home". They should be advising him on the importance of maintaining a professional, humble, and result-oriented image.
