Depression is often misunderstood, but people like #ZhaoLusi remind us that speaking openly is powerful in the healing process. Her journey, her advocacy, and her foundation’s support show that healing grows stronger when people choose to share, to listen, and to care. Even her dog Doe felt her struggle and never left her. If an animal can sense her pain, imagine how much more we — as humans — should understand and care. And let’s be clear — depression is serious. Unless you’ve been through it, you’ll never fully understand how it feels. Those of us who are fortunate not to suffer from it should never treat it as a joke, or a weapon to use against an artist we don’t like. If you’re not a professional, don’t diagnose it, don’t label it. Leave that to the experts. What we can do is show empathy, support, and kindness. 💙💜
