Yuri Ushakov, putin’s aid: "Vladimir putin and Donald Trump expressed essentially similar assessments of the behavior of the Kyiv regime headed by Zelenskyy, who is being incited by the Europeans and with their support." Ushakov isn't announcing a peace plan. He is announcing a partnership. This statement confirms that Trump is prepared to adopt the Kremlin’s script, treating Ukraine like a nuisance and an authoritarian aggressor like a partner. It’s a dark day for anyone who believes in a rules-based world.

This is the sound of an entire country saying, "Enough!" The ruling class is finished. Péter Magyar: “For this ruling elite, it's all over!” Crowd: “It's all over! Resign!” “It's all over! It's all over!” “It's all over! It's all over!” The jig is up. When tens of thousands are marching right to your doorstep, echoing "It's all over!" in a chant that’s practically a roar of disgust, you know the foundation of your little autocratic kingdom is finally starting to crumble. It’s over Viktor Orbán!

The “final nail in the coffin" for Russia’s energy influence in the Middle East: Iraq nationalises Russia's Lukoil oil field. Iraq has moved to nationalise Lukoil’s West Qurna-2 oil field, dealing a major blow to Russia’s energy revenues, Reuters reports. The company’s largest overseas asset had been bringing in an estimated $1.5–2 billion in net profit each year. Its loss is set to cost Russia’s budget tens of billions of rubles in missed income. Remember all that talk from Moscow about a "New World Order"? About how the "Global Majority" was going to stick together and move away from the West? Well, Iraq just hit the "Delete" button on that fantasy. For years, we were told Iraq was a key Russian partner. But the second the U.S. tightened the sanctions "handcuffs," Baghdad threw Russia under the bus to save its own bank account. And who did Iraq invite to take over? ExxonMobil and Chevron. Yes, the American "giants" Russia has been trying to replace for a decade are now walking back in to take the loot. This event isn't just a business deal gone wrong. It’s a collapse of the "alternative world order" that Moscow has been trying to build. Remember a month ago, when putin told the Iraqi President that their relationship has "never had a dark moment"? 🤡 “I fully agree with you: our relations are deep and long-standing. And throughout their entire history, there has never been a dark moment," putin told Rashid during talks in Turkmenistan on December 12, 2025. #Russia #Iraq #OilPolitics #GlobalMajority #Exxon #Chevron

Since some people seem to have forgotten how international law works. Here is a 14-second masterclass from 1990. "It’s simple: Someone invades? You kick them out. You don't ask them about their 'security concerns' while they’re killing your people and flattening your cities to the ground." Margaret Thatcher: “Some people suggest there should be negotiations. What is there to negotiate about? You don't negotiate with someone who marches into another country, devastates it, killing whoever he … stands in his way. You get him out, make him pay and see that he is never in a position to do these things again.” (1990 October 12 Margaret Thatcher Speech to Conservative Party Conference.)

Russia’s cannibal in chief: putin, who feeds hundreds of thousands to war, insists young scientists 'produce' new cannon fodder. putin: “You said that you were involved in both scientific activities, and administrative, and also created a family, right? Scientist: “Yes” putin: “Do you have children? Scientist: “Not yet. We are planning.” Putin: “Engage in this matter too.” Scientist: “Now, now there is an opportunity.” The fascist, putin, who orchestrated a child massacre next door is now pontificating about an assembly line for "producing children," like a maniac demanding a fresh victim for breakfast. A malevolent, venomous insect that only devours others, throwing them into the meat grinder of war by the hundreds of thousands, and still demanding gratitude from deranged parents.

Once again, the Orbán regime has managed to turn a routine diplomatic procedure into provocation. President Zelenskyy: “What the [Hungarian] delegation is doing here is unknown to me. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told me that, well, some people arrived. They characterised it as, well..." Ihor Zhovkva: “A private trip?” President Zelenskyy: “Probably, yes. We did not invite them." Hungarian FM Szijjártó’s immediate leap to call President Zelenskyy a "liar" is rich. Documents prove that Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs explicitly labeled the proposed visit dates as "unacceptable" and requested that new dates be negotiated through proper channels. The documents provided to TSN tell the real story: * The Hungarian Note: Hungary sent a request for a visit on specific dates. * The Ukrainian Response: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine explicitly stated those dates were unacceptable and asked to negotiate new ones. In the world of adult diplomacy, when a country says "the dates don't work," you don't just show up anyway and then act shocked when the President of the host nation says he didn't invite you. Showing up when the door is explicitly closed isn't a "state visit". It’s a private trip with delusions of grandeur. Zelenskyy’s dismissive tone isn't "lying”. It’s a reflection of the fact that Ukraine is fighting a war and doesn't have time for uncoordinated drop-ins from a neighbour that spent the last years blocking aid. And if Orbán actually cared about Hungarian-Ukrainian relations, he’d show up himself. Instead, he sends a B-team to play games with schedules, then cries "fake news" when he's called out. Hungary requested a meeting with Denys Shmyhal (the Prime Minister) or the Ukrainian Energy Minister. Sending a Deputy to meet a Prime Minister is a breach of protocol seen as a deliberate sign of disrespect. It’s pathetic, it’s petty, and it’s exactly what we’ve come to expect from Budapest.

The collapse of the Iranian regime would be a massive blow to Russia. In June 2025, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov explicitly warned that regime change in Tehran would "open Pandora’s box." "Any attempt at forced regime change in Tehran or the destabilization of the Islamic Republic from the outside will open a Pandora’s box that no one in the Middle East or the West will be able to close. We are talking about the total destruction of regional security and the inevitable rise of extremist forces that will fill the vacuum. Russia views the 2025 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty as the only legitimate foundation for regional order." Peskov said în June 2025. putin was warning about "Pandora’s Box," but let’s be real: he’s just scared of his own shadow. Every time a tyrant gets kicked out by their own people, putin has a nervous breakdown. He calls it a "Western coup" because he can't wrap his head around the fact that people actually hate living under religious police and secret services. If the Mullahs fall, putin sees his own future—and it involves a suitcase and a flight to nowhere. Iran isn't just a "partner". They are putin’s primary supplier of the drones and missiles he uses to terrorise Ukraine. If the regime in Tehran collapses, his supply line goes dry. Without those Shaheds, his "special military operation" looks even more like a pathetic failure. He’s losing his best friend in the "Dictator’s Club." putin and the Mullahs spent billions on the INSTC (that trade route to India) specifically to bypass sanctions. It’s basically a massive money-laundering bypass for two pariah states. If a new, normal government takes over in Iran, all that "sanction-busting" infrastructure becomes useless overnight. Russia’s economic "lifeline" gets cut, and they’re left holding a very expensive, empty bag. putin isn't worried about "regional security." He’s worried that if the Iranian people successfully take out their trash, the Russian people might realise they can do the same. In the event of the Iranian government's collapse, putin will likely host the 'Mullah regime-in-exile.' Imagine the Mullahs living in a dacha outside Moscow, exposed to Ukrainian drones.

[Introducing his team] My colleague and future Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Anita Orbán.” Anita Orbán: “Nice to meet you.” Péter Magyar: “The name is only a coincidence. This is putin casually admitting to what can only be described as a textbook war crime, and he’s doing it with a smug smile on his face. He literally brags about using Ukraine as a human testing ground. He openly admits that they didn't fire their "Oreshnik" missile at a military test range. Instead, they fired it at populated areas in Ukraine just because it was "convenient to watch”. Think about that for a second. He sent explosive warheads into communities, and then sent drones in right after just to count the bodies and measure the craters "down to the millimeter" like it’s some kind of science fair project. But the scariest part is how he ends it. He casually drops that they are collecting this data so they can figure out how to better use these massive missiles in "urban areas”. That is political speak for densely populated cities filled with civilians, apartment buildings, and schools. It’s pure, calculated terror. putin: “After all, we... we used to test such systems at testing ranges. But 'Oreshnik' wasn't tested that way. And this wasn't a combat application. In fact, we haven't had a single combat application of 'Oreshnik' over the territory of Ukraine in the full, so to speak, sense of the word. And the last one—to be completely honest, I will reveal a major, major state military secret to you. We simply struck a location where it was convenient to observe the results. Well, this concerns Bila Tserkva, and it especially concerns... concerns the DPR [so-called Donetsk People's Republic] area within the perimeter of the main fortified area. Afterward, our drones flew into that area—the target area we had struck—and simply looked at how the multiple reentry vehicles had landed. They calculated everything down to the millimeter, exactly where everything hit. For us, this is important in order to make future decisions regarding the full-scale deployment of 'Oreshnik' against designated targets. Including within urban areas.”

Poland won't applaud Trump’s vanity project, the Nobel Peace Prize. Today a major diplomatic row broke out between the U.S. and Poland because Włodzimierz Czarzasty (the Speaker of the Sejm) took a very public stand against Donald Trump. The catalyst was a formal request from U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson and Israeli Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, asking international leaders to co-sign a nomination for Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Czarzasty flatly refused. U.S. Ambassador Tom Rose responded by blacklisting Czarzasty, declaring that the U.S. Embassy would have "no further dealings, contacts, or communications" with him effective immediately. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk joined the fray, telling the U.S. Ambassador that "allies should respect, not lecture, each other. Roman Giertych then wrote a letter (see in the comments), escalating the rhetoric by comparing the demand for the Nobel Prize to the vanity of the Emperor Nero. Here is what Włodzimierz Czarzasty said: Włodzimierz Czarzasty: “Building new platforms like the 'Peace Council' by the United States is, in my opinion, deceptive. We must strengthen the European Union, NATO, the UN, and the WHO. Our security lies there. President Trump, in my opinion, destabilises these organisations by representing a policy of force and conducting transactional politics. This often breaks principles, values, and international law. His interpretation of history—for example, regarding the participation of Polish soldiers on missions—and his instrumental treatment of other territories, like Greenland, means I will not support the Nobel request for President Trump. He does not deserve it."

Erdogan is pivotng toward Europe to avoid being sidelined alongside Russia. He has realised that remaining a junior partner to an increasingly isolated Moscow is a strategic dead end." Erdogan’s insistence that Türkiye is "no longer the old Türkiye" is a threat disguised as an invitation. By positioning himself as a candidate for a "leading pole" in a new global system, he is telling the EU that if they don't accept him on his terms, he will take his "constructive stance" elsewhere. But his sudden urgency to revive the accession bid reveals the bluff: for all his talk of multipolarity, Erdogan is leaning toward Europe because he realises that being a junior partner to an increasingly isolated Russia is a dead end. Ultimately, this is the same old Erdogan: a merchant of influence trying to sell a tarnished brand of democracy to a continent that knows the price of admission is more than just strategic geography. Turkish President Erdogan on the EU: 💬 "Strategic blindness toward Türkiye unfortunately still clearly exists in many institutions of the Union. My esteemed citizens, at this point, I must state a fact frankly. Just as yesterday, the issue today is not where Ankara stands. The question is where Brussels wants to be in the world of the future. It's about where you see yourself. It should now be understood that a European Union without Türkiye as a full member will not be a global actor and center of attraction. We are not a country whose existence will be remembered only when needed, whose door will be knocked on when necessary, and which will be pushed aside in other times. We never will be. The European Union should appreciate Türkiye's constructive approach very much. We shouldn't misuse it. They should refrain from actions and statements that would make this difficult. Let it not be forgotten that neither is Türkiye the same Turkey it once was, nor is the world as confined to the sphere of influence of Western states as it once was. A new world is being built where regional collaborations are gaining importance, new actors are emerging, and the global system is rapidly evolving towards multipolarity, and Turkey is among the strongest candidates to become one of the leading poles of this new system. Look, I’ll be frank. Today, Europe's need for Türkiye is greater than Türkiye's need for Europe. This need will increase even more tomorrow. Europe is at a crossroads. They will either see Türkiye’s growing power and global influence as an opportunity for the union to emerge from its current predicament, or they will allow exclusionary rhetoric to darken Europe's future. Our hope is that decision-makers in Europe will finally abandon their political and historical prejudices and focus on developing sincere, genuine, and fair relations with Türkiye. The winner of such a relationship would be the European continent, of which Türkiye is an integral part."

French President Emmanuel Macron has the solution for putin’s daily nuclear sabre-rattling. With putin acting like a delusional, playground bully throwing daily nuclear tantrums, and Trump constantly threatening to abandon America’s allies and pull the US out of NATO, Europe has been left in a seriously tight spot. But French President Emmanuel Macron isn't just sitting around waiting for the worst to happen. He’s stepping up with a massive power move to show the Kremlin that Europe can bite back. France is using its own nuclear arsenal to keep putin guessing and finally secure the continent with or without Washington. The Telegraph: “This is the moment Emmanuel Macron showed Vladimir Putin he means business. Standing in front of a new nuclear submarine singing La Marseillaise, the French president conveyed one clear message: if it has to, France will use nuclear weapons to protect Europe from Russia. Europe can't defend itself from putin without the United States. But Donald Trump keeps threatening to pull the US out of NATO. We've had no support from, essentially no support from NATO. Mr. Macron thinks he has the solution. Here's how Europe learned to stop worrying and love “la bombe”. France and Britain are Europe's only nuclear powers, but only France has airborne tactical nuclear weapons, which can be launched from its Rafale jets. Now Mr. Macron is signing deals with countries like Britain, Germany, and Poland, making it possible for the jets to land on their bases in a plan he calls "forward deterrence”. But planes will move in secret around Europe, creating a strategic ambiguity that will force putin to think twice before attacking. Allies will perform joint nuclear exercises in a show of strength. Now, tactical nuclear weapons are less powerful than the big missiles launched from submarines like Trident or the French subs, but they are more flexible. Fire a nuke from a sub, and it's the starting gun on World War Three. But a tactical nuke can be a warning shot. Now France's nuclear deterrent is not part of NATO, which means putin has to think about French decision-making, even if he can ignore the US for some reason. This is all creating another European-controlled line of deterrence behind the US shield. Working together, France and Britain can buy precious time for the rest of Europe and themselves to rearm with conventional weapons, including precision long-range missiles capable of striking deep within Russia if vladimir putin ever dares to attack”

PANIC IN MOSCOW! PUTIN’S AXIS IS BREAKING: Sergey Karnaukhov thinks Russia is next. You know things are bad when even the Kremlin’s loudest cheerleaders stop pretending everything is 'going according to plan.' Take a look at Sergey Karnaukhov, prominent Russian propagandist, TV presenter, and regular contributor to the Solovyov Live channel. Usually, he’s busy telling you how the West is collapsing, but suddenly he realised that Russia’s 'Axis of Friends' is looking more like a 'League of Lost Causes.' First Assad, then Maduro’s struggles, and now he’s watching Tehran fold like a card table. He’s not just worried about Iran. He is terrified that the dominoes are finally falling toward Moscow. Listen to him drop the tough-guy act and start asking the one question they aren't allowed to answer: 'Are we next?' “So they did everything not to escalate. Well, they've done it now. Why hasn't a single US ship sunk yet? I have a question. Don't they have normal missiles? They have everything. Afraid of escalation? Well, they'll all be killed now. That's all. So if Pezeshkian is only concerned with how to hide himself, then there is no place for him there. But what's happening now, we see. Where are the statements of these people? Where is the vaunted IRGC? Where is Khamenei's statement? They're all gone. That's it. This is a country that is falling apart before our eyes. Again, I'm taking a pro-Russian position. I'm assessing the perspective of what's going to happen. I understand very well what the next problem will be. For us, first of all. One question worries me: when will they take us on? Or have they already? And do we understand that the talk about Iran is also a talk about Russia? They will treat us the same way now, hitting Russia even harder. We will return to this, if not today, then on Monday for sure.”

“Russia has lost everything. Everything. The war is lost." - *Andrey Zubov. "The war is lost. You can say that to your opponent. The war is already lost in all directions. It's lost on the battlefield. They didn't go anywhere, not to Kharkiv, not to Kyiv, especially not to Lviv. They didn't go anywhere. It's lost on the diplomatic level. All civilised countries have turned away from Russia. Just recently, Japan sent a large tranche to help Ukraine. And as for Europe, I'm not even talking. As for Trump, well, it's a strange phenomenon that the Americans themselves will probably be ashamed of later. But nevertheless, there's a very powerful movement in America in support of Ukraine, both in the Republican and Democratic parties, just in society. Russia, once a truly great power, a member of the G8, became a satellite of China, which is now a raw materials appendage of China. Its allies, it was on the threshold of NATO. In 2002, the issue of joining NATO was already being discussed very seriously, and the same Prime Minister Kasyanov was for joining NATO, and putin said that it was possible, we should think about it. Well, now what NATO? Now the allies are North Korea, which journalists in Russia have also been poking fun at for so many years, about Kim Jong-un and so on. But it turned out that it wasn't worth poking fun at, that North Korean troops are fighting side-by-side with the Russians on the Ukrainian front. This is Iran with these crazy ayatollahs, it turned out that these crazy ayatollahs there provide weapons and they're being used actively. And finally, China itself, which also, if we were delighted, then for its economic successes, but certainly not for its totalitarian system. And now China is the main pillar of the putin regime and putin’s totalitarian system. So, naturally, Russia has suffered a humanitarian defeat, a mass of cultural people have left, I would say, the cultural elite of Russia, the Russian youth. Well, and old people like me, we left, we don't want anything to do with this regime. Russia has lost hundreds of thousands of its people, and with a low birth rate and a poor level of education, it's very sensitive. Russia has lost its culture, because the level of education has dropped sharply and, as a matter of fact, Russia has lost everything. Everything. The war is lost." *Andrey Zubov: A prominent Russian historian and political scientist who was famously dismissed from MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) in 2014 after criticising the annexation of Crimea.

Leonid Ivashov, a heavy-hitting retired Russian Colonel General, recently went rogue and started saying out loud what most people in the Kremlin only dare to whisper. He didn't hold back, basically calling things out for being a mess. The Big Picture: "We're in Trouble" Ivashov starts by basically saying Russia is a mess right now. He’s not sugarcoating it: we’re lonely on the world stage (only a handful of countries even talk to us at the UN), and we’ve lost our influence over our neighbors. He even compares putin’s era to the start of the Soviet collapse under Gorbachev—lots of talk, but everything is breaking. 1. The "Broken Stuff" List He goes through a laundry list of things that aren't working: * Planes: We can't build our own passenger jets. We’re basically cannibalising old Boeings for parts. * Space: He tells a wild story about how the last working manned launchpad at Baikonur was accidentally torched because of poor maintenance. Now, Russia effectively can't send people to space. * Food: He warns that the food in the shops is becoming toxic garbage filled with palm oil because the economy is so squeezed. * Corruption: He mentions that 11 trillion rubles were allegedly stolen by the Ministry of Defense. He points out that almost every big corrupt official is a member of the ruling party. 2. The "Spectacle" (The Press Conference) He calls putin’s annual "Direct Line" a brilliant theatrical performance. The Setup: Everything was staged—the suit, the tie, even the camera angles to hide putin’s nervous leg twitching. The Script: He says the questions were totally rehearsed. putin knew what was coming. The few "real" questions from foreign journalists were just dodged with "whataboutism" or jokes. The "Reality Gap": While putin was smiling and talking about how great the economy is, the "ticker tape" on the screen was showing real people from the regions begging for water, roads, and enough money to buy medicine. 3. The War (Tactics vs. Strategy) Ivashov is really unimpressed with the military leadership. * Small Thinking: He says putin is stuck at a "tactical" level—bragging about taking one tiny village or a single house. The NATO Gap: He admits that Ukraine, backed by NATO tech and satellite intel, is hitting Russia where it hurts (oil refineries and airfields), while Russia is just throwing shells at the problem. 4. The Demographic "Cliff" He’s really worried that Russians are simply dying out. The birth rate is way below what’s needed to survive, and putin’s excuse is just "well, it's a global trend." Ivashov thinks that's a cop-out for a country that’s literally shrinking. The Verdict Ivashov ends with looking pretty defeated. He basically says: “Look, I’ve been a professor, a general, and a student of geopolitics for decades. I watched this whole 4-hour show, and I didn't see a leader, a commander, or a protector of the people. I just saw a guy living in a fairy tale while the rest of the country is struggling to survive on 16,000 rubles a month." Basically, his message is: The "Spectacle" looks great on TV, but you can't eat a stage play, and you can't fly a museum piece to space. (The transcript for this segment of Russian retired General Ivashov’s video where he critiques the "staged spectacle" of putin’s press conference you will find in the comments.)

Someone send this to JD Vance before he goes on another rant about 'mismanaged' European allies. Alexander Stubb just reminded the world that the Nordics own the Top 10 lists for justice, clean government free from corruption and equality. While Trump and JD Vance are busy obsessing over 'dominance' and crude GDP, the Finnish President is over here dropping facts. Turns out, when you actually invest in your people instead of just billionaire tax cuts, you end up the happiest people on earth. Stubb is 'bloody happy' because his country actually works for everyone. Alexander Stubb: “You're asking a question from the second happiest country in the world and the happiest country in the world, you know.” Moderator: “Who better to answer this?” Alexander Stubb: “And the third? No?” Moderator: “Oh, they're very happy.” Alexander Stubb: “Yeah, yeah. No, I sometimes, you know, sometimes when I hear the discourse, especially of economists who are looking at crude GDP as the save-all measurement, I think us coming from Nordic countries, we value welfare societies which are a combination of open market economies and clear safety nets. And if I look at our Gini coefficient, if I look at all the measures of international data—which five countries are in top ten, whether it's justice, whether it's least corrupt, whether it's open, whether it's welfare, whether it's environment, whether it's open media, gender equality—they are the Nordics. So I don't buy the argument that we're doing bad. I'm actually bloody happy.” #NordicModel #Finland #HappiestCountry #JDVance #Stubb

A series of explosive reports—led by an investigation from The Washington Post—alleged that Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has been providing "minute-by-minute" updates to the Kremlin during confidential EU summits. According to intelligence sources and diplomatic cables cited in the reports, Szijjártó maintained a direct line to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during high-level meetings in Brussels. It is alleged that during breaks in sensitive discussions—particularly those concerning military aid to Ukraine and the 20th EU sanctions package—Szijjártó would call Lavrov to relay the specific bargaining positions and "red lines" of other EU member states. These reports provide the most concrete evidence to date, suggesting that Moscow isn't just watching from the outside but has a virtual seat at the table. The reaction from European leaders has been one of grim validation rather than shock. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk remarked that the allegations were "no surprise”, admitting that he and other leaders have been "self-censoring" for months. Tusk noted that he often limits his interventions in the European Council to strictly necessary points whenever Hungarian representatives are in the room. NATO and EU security officials have reportedly begun formalising a "tiered" information-sharing system. This effectively creates a "black box" around Hungary, where the most sensitive intelligence regarding Russian troop movements or cyber-warfare is no longer shared with Budapest. Hungarian opposition leader Péter Magyar, head of the Tisza Party, has labeled Szijjártó a "traitor to the homeland and Europe," using the reports to argue that the Orbán government has compromised national sovereignty for the sake of Kremlin interests. This is no longer just a policy disagreement over sanctions, it is a fundamental breakdown of trust within the EU’s security architecture. As the bloc attempts to finalise a €90 billion loan for Ukraine, the fear is that any strategy discussed with Hungary present will be on putin’s before the meeting even adjourns.

Marco Rubio spent all weekend in Munich talking about how much he 'loves' his European parents, but then he can’t even find five minutes to have a coffee with Kaja Kallas? Talk about ghosting the people who actually run the place. Instead, he’s rushing off to Bratislava and Budapest to hang out with the 'Munich No-Shows’. It’s pretty transparent: if you’re a pro-EU leader who stands up for the rule of law, you get the cold shoulder. But if you’re Fico or Orbán—the guys who didn't even bother showing up to the top table—you get a private visit and a 'cooperative' gold star. Rubio is basically saying, 'We don't care if you're sabotaging the Union or silencing your own press, as long as you're "strong with us" (read: loyal to Trump).' The irony of him preaching about 'Western values' while skipping the democrats to go hang with the autocrats is just peak 2026. That quote about them being 'very cooperative'? Rubio knows exactly what that means: they’re 'cooperative' because they’re the only ones willing to play ball with Trump’s transactionalism while they keep the lights on with Putin’s gas. Reporter: "Will you urge Hungary and Slovakia to stop buying Russian energy?" Marco Rubio: "Well, we’ll have those conversations with them. We’ll talk to them about what needs to happen. Yeah, I’m not going to get into what we’re going to say in those meetings, but more than anything else, these are countries that are very strong with us, very cooperative with the United States, work very closely with us, and it was a good opportunity to go see them, and two countries I’ve never been in. So, all right guys, let's go. Thank you."

The Polish Epstein files investigation has reached a fever pitch with the focus shifting from general "threads" to specific organisations and individuals. In this video, PM Tusk warns that the KGB likely possesses material against "many leaders still active today." "An increasing number of commentators and experts assume that it is very probable that this was a premeditated operation by the Russian KGB. This so-called 'honey trap,' a sweet bait, a trap set for the elites of the Western world, primarily the United States. I don't need to tell you how serious the implications for the security of the Polish state are regarding this possibility—an increasingly likely possibility—that Russian services co-organised this procedure, which can only mean one thing: that they also possess compromising materials against many leaders who are still active today." Tusk said. The discovery of a 2011 visa application by Jeffrey Epstein has become the centerpiece of the "KGB Honey Trap" theory. Epstein listed his travel purpose as a visit to MOO Vympel (Interregional Public Organization of Vympel Veterans). Vympel (also known as Directorate "V") was an elite, top-secret KGB special forces unit founded in 1981. Unlike the "Alpha" group, which focused on domestic counter-terrorism, Vympel was designed for foreign operations, including sabotage, deep-cover intelligence, and "liquidating" high-value targets. Prime Minister Tusk’s team is investigating whether these veterans—many of whom transitioned into private security and "influence" roles after the USSR fell—provided the logistical backbone for Epstein’s European operations. The theory suggests Epstein wasn't just a rogue criminal but a "front" for a Russian state-sponsored blackmail machine. The task force is zeroing in on Daniel Amar Siad, the Swedish citizen of Berber-Algerian origin identified as a "scout" for Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel. Emails from 2009 confirm Siad told Epstein he would be "scouting in small villages" across Poland (specifically naming Kraków), the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Local investigators are currently reviewing hotel and travel records from the summer of 2009. They are trying to verify his claim that he had "several girls already waiting" in Poland. Documents show Siad also sent Epstein photos of a Polish model he allegedly met in Dubai, suggesting a multi-layered international recruitment network. While the 3 million pages contain thousands of names, the "kompromat" or blackmail section remains the most sensitive part of the investigation. Several Polish news outlets have been flagged for their coverage (or lack thereof) during the years Epstein was active. The investigation is looking into whether any editorial decisions were influenced by the threat of kompromat. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek’s "Analytical-Investigative Group" is holding its first full operational summit this week. Poland has formally requested that the U.S. DOJ unseal files related to "non-U.S. nationals”, which they believe contain the bulk of the evidence regarding Polish victims.

Rubio is stomping his feet and acting like a petulant teenager, declaring 'Rules for thee, but not for me!' when the rules get inconvenient. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the EU has no right to determine what constitutes international law, let alone dictate how America protects its interests. Journalist: “Well, let me, let me ask you about that. Um, she told me that they discussed the legality, and that there are two reasons why an operation would be legal: self-defense and a UN resolution. That neither of those applied in this case, that they are all struggling with the drug issue, and that they should discuss whether international law needs to be updated. So let me ask you about that.” Rubio: “I don't think that the European Union gets to determine what international law is. Nor do they certainly don't get to determine is how the United States defends its national security. The United States is under attack from organized criminal narco-terrorist in our hemisphere, and the President is responding in the defense of our country.” The EU doesn’t determine what constitutes international law. Wasn’t the U.S. a founding member of the UN and helped write the rulebook? The United States played a central role in drafting its Charter and shaping the post-WWII international order. Europe only points out to the United States that they must adhere to the UN Charter. It's the typical move: when the EU or anyone else criticises a U.S. action as potentially illegal, suddenly the U.S. is the ultimate defender of 'sovereignty' and 'national interest' against foreign dictate. But when the U.S. wants to tell other countries what to do, that's 'leadership.' The U.S. wants to hold everyone else accountable to international law, but the moment it puts any constraint on their own policies, they claim the entire system is illegitimate. It's hypocrisy 101.
