A flood watch is in effect for the Pipestone River and the Bow River near Lake Louise, with low-lying trails and picnic areas near the Lake Louise Visitors Centre already affected. A high streamflow advisory covers the Bow River upstream of the Town of Banff down to Ghost Reservoir west of Cochrane, with an additional 30 cm rise expected as warm weather persists. The Town of Banff has set up temporary flood barriers in anticipation.
