I planned to make an ice cream to memorialize and celebrate the life of Renee Goode. But after the murder of Alex Pretti this weekend, I didn't have it within me to make ice cream. It's clear that the murders of Renee and Alex AND the government's lies were not a mistake, but standard operating procedure. ICE must be defunded and disbanded.

In honor of Renee and Alex and all of those who were murdered by the masked militarized heavily armed thugs of ICE - I've made The Maxi Hearts of Minneapolis. The chunks are the hearts of Minneapolis. The base ice cream combines some favorite flavors of the immigrant community—coconut and passionfruit. This is not a Ben & Jerrys flavor, it’s Ben’s Best flavor. Because Ben & Jerry’s is also under a form of occupation and they’re not gonna say it, so I will: ICE is a masked lawless rogue para military force that is blatantly violating the constitution and trampling on our rights as US citizens. We can do hard things, like continue to battle the Magnum Monster. It just wants to make more money by making fluffy, air-filled, less delicious ice cream. More air = more money.
