#historybooks_25_08_2023 The date shown in the video indicates that these are separatist militias from the Isaaq clan who call themselves Somaliland. This battle, which lasted three hours, ended in a defeat for the forces that these Somaliland militias used to boast about the so called Somaliland military forces. #BREAKING ISRAEL-SOMALILAND Youth Movement of the Habarjeclo Clan Intensifies Activities in Hargeisa and Burco HARGEISA/BURCO A youth movement from the Habarjeclo clan, based in Hargeisa and Burco, has intensified its activities, according to a video circulating on social media. The group is reportedly being organized and coordinated by a former spokesperson of the Somaliland armed forces, who is seen mobilizing local youth in both cities. In the video, the group strongly and publicly opposes the presence of Israeli military forces and Israeli business interests in what they describe as their territory. Members of the movement state that their leadership has “gone astray” and that they no longer agree with the current direction. They say they have rejected this leadership and vowed to oppose the existing administration, declaring their intention to bring down the “Ciro system.” The group also reaffirmed its belief that the land belongs to a united Somalia (Soomaaliweyn), emphasizing their commitment to Somali unity. #BREKINGNEWS Darawish Forces of the Northeastern Government Arrive in Fiqifuliye The Darawish Forces of the Northeastern Government of Somalia have arrived in the temporary capital of the Sanaag region, Fiqifuliye. The troops advanced from their previous bases located in the areas of Arboogeeys and Taleh. Fiqifuliye, which serves as the temporary administrative capital of the Sanaag region, lies approximately 50 kilometers from the city of Ceerigaabo. These forces are part of ongoing operations aimed at restoring and securing stability in the region. It is expected that in the coming days, they will launch offensives to clear out anti-peace militias that reportedly receive orders from the cities of Garowe and Hargeisa. Reports indicate that the troops are now moving toward Ceerigaabo, which falls under the administration of the Northeastern Government of Somalia. The Sanaag region has entered a tense state of conflict, and heavy fighting is anticipated soon in Ceerigaabo and surrounding areas.
