🇹🇬 The Atakpamé in Togo are closer to me than any Nigerian of any other ethnic nationality. The Ifẹ̀ (Ana) are one of the most interesting Yoruba-related indigenous populations outside Nigeria. They are concentrated around Atakpamé and areas toward the Benin border. The language, Èdè Ifẹ̀, belongs to the same broader Ede/Yoruboid continuum as the Yoruba Àjùmọ̀lò. With a strong historical tradition linking their ancestry to Ilé-Ifẹ̀. How do you expect me to rate Ibos for instance who are idealogically antithetical to me above these ones. Kò lè ṣeé ṣe.
