I don't know if James Talarico is a Republican plant but I do know that the last Democrat to win statewide in Texas warned us about this type of Democrat in the Democratic Party. I love the way Republicans Republicans love to get historical about race in America by showing black elected Congressmen from the south and reminding everyone how southern Democrats founded the KKK. Yet they never mention how they traded away Reconstruction for a presidential election that they lost and plunged the nation into 100 years of Jim Crow, segregation, forced poverty, rape and lynchings. They threw millions of black Americans under the bus for the White House. Republicans are directly responsible for the genocide of black men, women and children south of the Mason-Dixon line. And with the Dixiecrats who fled the Democratic Party following LBJ forcing the passage of the Voting Rights Act and Civil Rights Acts the Republican Party welcome the descendants of those same southern racists who founded the Ku Klux Klan with open arms because they would help then win another election.
