Insane praise from Gumayusi to LYON. STAND PROUDDDDDDD Caedrel: What was the one thing you think LYON was doing really good that made the series really good? Gumayusi: I think that LYON's teamfighting was actually better than us today......Overall their power level was amazing today. The way they play the teamfights, the way they make team plays, the way they play the laning phase, their macro, everything was on point

Faker on if he thinks the 2026 G2 roster is the strongest Western team we've seen so far Faker: We did lose today, but honestly, it didn't feel like we lost because the opponent was that strong. Personally, I think we just didn't play up to the level we expected today, so I think we'll have to wait and see on that. Source:

Zeus on what HLE changed to beat BLG in their MSI Finals rematch Caedrel: You guys lost to BLG 3-0. How and what did you do? Like what is the one thing you looked at and said, "This needs to be fixed." Zeus: Drafting. It was the draft, but the important thing was that BLG kept taking strong top-lane picks, then banning everything out afterward. By doing that, they kept shutting down one of our strengths, using a strong AP/mage-style bot-lane pick while getting strong AD damage from top, and they were actually taking that setup for themselves instead.

Inspired says the LEC is better than the LCS, but the offers that he got from EU were just worse than the offers from NA. 𝐐: 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐂𝐒 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐄𝐂 𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲? 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝: No I don't think so, I don't think EU owes me anything. I think maybe they need to own me some respect that's it. Other than that I do think that all is chill, I mean yeah I think I'm playing in a weaker region overall I think and NA is definitely weaker. But I just that every time I was in a position where I could join a EU team, I mean the NA team that I could join was always better than the EU one so it ended up that I'm in an NA for a while, but yeah I mean now I guess hard feelings to the region just that's it. This is the legit the coolest quote of all time This is your fifth MSI. Compared to 2022, when you first stepped onto the MSI stage, what do you think has changed the most about yourself? Keria: Back then, I wanted to become the greatest support of all time. Now, I think I can confidently say that I’ve become the greatest support of all time.

Inspired after 3-0'ing G2 at MSI 2026: "I think T1 just played not to their standard that's why G2 managed to sneak a win.....And I am happy we took revenge for T1" Full Quote: I knew we were a better team. I think they [G2] were just very lucky to win yesterday. I think T1 just played not to their standard that's why G2 managed to sneak a win. So I was very confident going into just series. And I am happy we took revenge for T1 and yeah honestly I wasn't surprised by anything. I expected them to kinda do nothing in the games and they would do nothing so it was pretty easy.

Caedrel ended his costream early, I don’t blame him. Some people (on both sides) are turning a discussion about Riot/LEC potentially licensing broadcasts into just attacking people, or costreamers they don’t like. Even Sjokz, THE NICEST PERSON EVER, got attacked. The FlyQuest thumbnail only added fuel to the fire because it felt like he was being singled out. Some parts of this community 🤦♀️

Zeus says on Caedrel's stream that in the fight were Gumayusi died in the mid lane, he was thinking about backing off but saw Zeka fighting and was like "let's trust him" 😭 He has also been practicing Mundo for 2 YEARS?!?!?!? Zeus: First of all, in those teamfight situations, especially the fight where Gumayusi died first, it’s true that we felt like things were a little dangerous. I felt like if I died too, the game might just end right there, so in that moment, I think I thought it over about 300 times. But Sylas was fighting so hard in front of me, so I thought, ‘Let’s just trust him,’ and continued the teamfight. As for the Swain pick, honestly, it’s not a pick I’ve played that much. I don’t think my proficiency on it is that high either. It’s more like I just had one good memory with it from when I was younger. As for Dr. Mundo, I’ve actually been practicing him little by little since about two years ago, because I thought he was really good. But the right angle to pick the champion didn’t really come up. Recently, though, I thought he had the potential to stand out a lot in the meta, so I started using him more actively.

Inspired talking about Skewmond and" the best jungler in the west" debate Q: Everyone was talking a lot of Skewmond, and I would like to know about: do you believe like the series put an end to any debate about the best jungler in the West? Inspired: To me, there was never a debate. I knew that I’m always the best, but I think Skewmond is a good player. I wouldn’t say that he had any phenomenal series, though, this tournament. I think he, against T1, he still made a lot of mistakes. When he was stronger, he didn’t really try to fight enemies, and or sometimes just over committed a bit, and I think G2 won against T1 just by waiting for T1 to make mistakes. I think today, I think Skewmond played well in the team fights. I think every time he was on my screen and we’re like skirmishing and team fighting, I think he did a good job. But I think just like team wise, and like how they all played together as a team and use their jungler was wrong. And it’s hard to say, as I always said, that don’t really know who’s there like which jungler is good because you don’t really know what was his idea beyond the game plan, what his teammates wanted to do. But it just seems like they were not connected well enough, and on top of that, as I said, I think the drafts were not that great. So yeah, I think he’s a good player, but I think they need to work more on team synergy in order to actually pressure when they’re strong if they want to be like the best in the world, because I think they definitely can, but need to work a bit more. Keria talking about #Faker's commerical with aespa's Karina lol Q: Faker filmed a commercial recently, right? He shot an ad with Karina, and it turned out really cool. Did you happen to see it? #Keria: It came out early yesterday morning, so I watched it while playing solo queue. There are a lot of people I like too, so I kind of want to say that I like them too someday… to anyone, really Q: Right, because you’re also famous for really liking idols, so I guess you were jealous? Keria: I’m confident I could do well too. Q: Then since you have to appeal to advertisers that you can do well too, how about practicing right now as if she were standing in front of you? Keria: She? Q: Imagine it’s your favorite idol standing there. Keria: Dear advertisers, I like you all.

More LYON praise before the MSI 2026 Grand Finals, Zeus said that he wanted to keep the Swain pick a secret, but he had to pull it out in game 4 like some hidden transformation since LYON was pushing them to the limit. Q: But honestly, there are so many things I want to ask Zeus. First of all, we have to ask about the Swain. Seriously, against Jayce? Zeus: Yes. Interviewers: But let me say this. Earlier, when we went over there, we had a bit of small talk. At that time, we were talking about things like, ‘Zeus no, against Jayce, Swain?’ Interviewers: So I was thinking, ‘Is he joking? Is he seriously joking?’ But then you actually picked it. And you showed it too. How was it? Is the Jayce matchup normally good? Zeus: Honestly, it was a pick we had prepared as something like a final trump card, so I didn’t really want to use it today. Interviewers: Ah, of course. Zeus: But honestly, because the opponent’s Pyke kept roaming around, my thought, our team’s plan was based on the idea that Pyke wouldn’t be able to move around that much. But Pyke was basically staying top almost the whole time, so it was pretty tough.

Zeus on the Dr.Mundo pick (He was also deciding between Gwen and Yone for MSI Game 5!!) Q. In the final set, you hovered Gwen for a while, then locked in Dr. Mundo with about three seconds left. It was an extremely important moment in the last game, and you had the counterpick. What were you thinking when you made that final pick? Zeus: First of all, I thought the opponent could lock in Aatrox, but I didn’t really expect it that strongly. I was deciding between Yone, Gwen, and Dr. Mundo. But since the opponent had banned Yone, and I didn’t think Gwen was that good of a matchup into Aurora, I decided that even if the lane phase was a little difficult for me, I should pick something that would let me have more impact as the game went later. That’s why I chose Mundo.

Canna talking about Kyeahoo joining KC for this year! Q: This year, Kyeahoo joined the team as your mid laner. Now there's another Korean player on the team, what has that been like? Canna: When I first went to Europe, there weren't any Korean coaches or Korean players at all. Even so, I adapted pretty well, so honestly I never really felt lonely and was able to settle in well. But this time, with a Korean player and a Korean coach joining, it's definitely become more enjoyable, personally speaking. And Kyeahoo talks a lot, is very clear about what he thinks, has a loud voice, and is quite assertive, so I really like those qualities about him. Interviewer: I see. As someone who's been living overseas longer, I guess you were able to help him out a bit. Canna: Honestly, there wasn't really anything I needed to help him with. Because he's the kind of person... how should I put it? He has a personality where he just charges ahead without hesitation. He likes to jump right in first and figure things out as he goes. So from what I've seen, Kyeahoo has adapted extremely well too. Source:

Keria on buying Oblivion Orb on Alistar Q15: I'd like to ask Keria one more question. In the game where you played Alistar, you sold your Ruby Crystal and bought Oblivion Orb. What was the reasoning behind that decision? And how much impact do you think it had on the outcome of the game? Keria: As the fights went on, Zaahen wasn't dying as easily as we expected. So we talked about needing Grievous Wounds. But there wasn't really a champion on our team who could buy it within the next few minutes. So among our teammates, nobody was really in a position to get it immediately. Since it felt like an urgent situation, I think I ended up buying Oblivion Orb myself. I think it probably had a noticeable effect.
