For hundreds of millions of people every day, Windows Search on the taskbar is where intent begins and I love how we’re making that everyday experience even more useful. This week we announced that starting this fall on Windows 11 PCs, Search will let you take thousands of quick actions directly from the taskbar, from switching to dark mode and adjusting your mic volume to taking a screenshot to arranging your window and sending a quick action. It’s a small shift that can make a big difference: helping you move from intent to action, as fast as you can type.

For decades, browsers have followed the same formula: open a tab (or twenty), search, read, repeat. They are basic tools that haven’t really changed. Today, that all starts to change with the introduction of Copilot Mode in Microsoft Edge. It's a new way to browse that’s built for the age of AI.

Big day for Windows with Microsoft and NVIDIA announcing the next generation of Windows PCs powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. These devices bring together performance, efficiency, graphics, and on-device AI in thin-and-light designs that make powerful experiences feel faster. RTX Spark delivers 1 petaflop of AI performance, industry-leading performance-per-watt, full stack NVIDIA AI and RTX graphics technology, and up to 128GB of unified memory. And the new Surface Laptop Ultra shows what happens when that power is thoughtfully applied. Creators and developers can move faster, push further, and build richer experiences locally on Windows, without compromise.

Love this demo showing what Copilot Actions can do on your behalf. Need to extract data from a PDF, organize files, or sort vacation photos? Copilot Actions can handle it. You stay in control the whole time, but it takes care of the clicks. This feature is coming soon to Windows Insiders in the Copilot Labs program. Check out what's possible.

A fun use case for Copilot on Windows: Editing video clips in Filmora for the first time. Got stuck editing two clips together and instead of searching for a tutorial, I used Copilot Vision to guide me to the right feature within the app. This is the kind of help that actually keeps you in your flow.
