🪽NEW SCULPTURE "蛹（さなぎ）" w:130 h:155 d:50 cm 壁から先端へ。ポリゴンが、少しずつ羽毛に変わっていく。 この彫刻は、デジタルの形が実体になっていく途中の一瞬を静止させたもの。 多くの人は、リアルに実体化した先端を「本物」と感じ、壁側のポリゴンを未完成な記号として見る。 しかし私にとっては、それが逆である。コンピュータグラフィックスの中で生まれた形こそが原本であり、物質化されたものはその写し──虚構。 作る側と観る側とで、「本物」の位置が反転する。 この一体の身体の中に、その矛盾ごと閉じ込めた作品。 本展『GOLEM』で展示中の私の映像作品"Plazma"では、絶え間なく姿を変え続けるキャラクターたちの映像を展示している。 この鳥は、その終わらない変容の流れから切り取られた、一瞬の断面でもある。 Most people see the realistically materialized tip as “real,” and the polygonal side near the wall as an unfinished symbol. For me, it is the opposite: the form born inside computer graphics is the original, and its physical materialization is a copy — a fiction. Between the maker and the viewer, the position of “the real” is exactly reversed. This work holds that contradiction inside a single body. In “Plazma,” my video work on view in this exhibition, GOLEM, characters transform endlessly, never settling into one shape.
