On the 250th anniversary of our country, a country that has secured more rights, alleviated more poverty, ended more suffering for more people than any other on the face of the earth, I am praying for a renewal of the love and desire to adopt that American identity that so many toiled, labored, and bled to preserve. To 250 more years of Independence and a revival of the American spirit.

We had an incredible week celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. 🇺🇸 Started at the parade in Fairfax, then a rodeo in Davis County, West Des Moines parade on the 3rd, and we closed it out at the Clear Lake parade on the 4th. We love this country, we cherish its history, and we’re proud to carry that legacy forward. A new chapter of our story is being written right here in Iowa. You can feel it in the patriotism and community we experienced. Thank you to everyone who came out. It’s the honor of a lifetime getting to celebrate this with you.
