~~ The Great Debate 2023 ~~ Universities are the centre for debates that change the world. Academia plays the most crucial role in generating discourse on socio-political issues and in empowering youth as informed, democratic citizens. At GC University, GC University Lahore we take this responsibility very seriously. As a prestigious university and the oldest higher education institution in Pakistan, we aim to foster a culture of intellectual exchange, harmony and tolerance by initiating "The Great Debate 2023". #TheGreatDebate2023 aims to become a vehicle of democratisation, social awareness, and meaningful political change for the country. In the first instance, #TheGreatDebate2023 will consist of four chapters, allowing for diverse perspectives and practical solutions to be explored. The first four chapters will cover four policy arenas. CHAPTER 1 Pakistan's National Economy: Identifying the Challenges and Solutions CHAPTER 2 Pakistan's Foreign Policy in the context of evolving Geopolitical Landscape, mid-July 2023 CHAPTER 3 Law and Justice Policy: Parliament and Judiciary's role in Pakistan's Macro-Political Paradigm, end-July 2023 CHAPTER 4 Climate Change and Environment Policy: Global Climate Change as Existential Threat, early-September 2023

Alhamdulillah. Today, on Thursday 12 October 2023, we inaugurated our new Executive Gymnasium GC University Lahore. 🏋🏻♂️ The establishment of this Gym is a dream coming true for many of us at GCU, with the top quality fitness equipments and facilities available to all our Faculty, Staff and Students, men and women, young and old. This Gym facility is a great oopportunity of healthy activities for all ravians, current and ‘old’. Exclusive timings will be offered for female only access to the Gym, as well as to ‘Old Ravians’. All users will get the help in using the equipment from trainers of our Sports Directorate. Inauguration by Muhammad Usman Younis
