Sources within the Taliban told us that, following heavy casualties among Taliban forces, the Taliban regime requested Jumma Khan Fateh to halt the fighting. A jirga subsequently met with Fateh, and after consultations and agreement on his demands, he agreed to stop the fighting on his own terms. Jumma Khan Fateh and Fasihuddin Fitrat were then flown by Taliban helicopter to Faizabad, from where Fitrat will accompany Fateh to Kabul.

In an audio recording, August 12, from Nusay District in Badakhshan, one of Fateh’s fighters can be heard asking him about the start of the fighting. Fateh reportedly responds: “There is fighting for now. Tell the comrades that if they have a plan, they should begin.” In a separate recording, he urges: “Convey my greetings to all the people. Let the people begin. What else will they do if they do not start?” Taliban forces and fighters loyal to Fateh clashed Tuesday evening in Nusay District, with fighting reported in the Shakh Dara and Khogaz areas, where Fateh’s forces are present. The cause of the clashes remains unconfirmed. Some sources claim Taliban forces had entered the area to collect weapons.

نیشنل ڈیفنس یونیورسٹی (NDU) میں نام نہاد افغان طالبان رجیم کے سفیر کا خطاب اور اس پر پروپیگینڈا- حقائق اور تفصیل سوشل میڈیا پر کچھ ویڈیوز اور پوسٹس گردش کر رہی ہیں جس میں نام نہاد افغان سفیر کے NDU میں خطاب کو دیکھا کر ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے کہ شاید پاکستان کی افغانستان پالیسی میں کوئی تبدیلی آگئ ہے۔ نیشنل ڈیفنس یونیورسٹی ایک تعلیمی ادارہ ہے جس میں مختلف طبقہ زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والوں کو مہمان مقرر (GuestSpeaker) کے طور پر بلوایا جاتا ہے تاکہ وہ اپنا نقطہ نظر پیش کر سکیں۔ افغان سفیر کیا، کئی مرتبہ بھارتی سفیر بھی NDU میں آ کر اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کر چکے ہیں۔ جہاں تک بات ہے افغان پالیسی میں تبدیلی کی تو پاکستان کا افغان طالبان رجیم کے بارے میں موقف اٹل ہے “افغان رجیم ایک غیر قانونی، غیر جامع اور غیر نمائندہ جھتہ ہے جو بندوق کی طاقت سے حکومت میں آیا ہے۔ اس رجیم کا اولین شوق افغانستان کو دہشت گردی کا گڑھ بنا کر اپنے ہمسایہ ممالک میں انہیں برآمد کرنا ہے” اہم ترین بات یہ ہے کے NDU میں لیکچر Chatham house rule کے تحت ہوتی ہے جو ایک بین الاقوامی اصول ہے جس کے تحت کسی میٹنگ، بحث یا سیمینار میں شریک افراد کو وہاں کہی جانے والی باتوں کو باہر استعمال کرنے کی اجازت تو ہوتی ہے لیکن وہ یہ نہیں بتا سکتے کہ وہ بات کس نے کہی، کہاں کی اور کس سے کی۔ افغان سفیر نے باہر آ کر یہ بیان دے کر اور غیر قانونی وڈیوز بنا کر سوشل میڈیا پر ریلیز کر کے پھر ثابت کیا کہ یہ وہ مجہول العقل گروہ ہے جس کو نہ بین الاقوامی اصولوں کی پرواہ ہے اور نا ہی انسانیت و اخلاقیات کی۔ افغان سفیر کی یہ حرکت ثابت کرتی ہے کہ افغان طالبان ناقابل اعتماد، ناقابل اعتبار اور دغا و دھوکہ دینے والا ایک گروہ ہے۔ @AfghanEmbPak Tahir Khan M. Pakistani Security Forces Neutralise 4 Terrorists in Kalachi–Maddi Operation Security forces conducted a targeted operation in Dera Ismail Khan after receiving intelligence about the movement of Khwarij from Kalachi towards Maddi. Sources within the Taliban told us that, following heavy casualties among Taliban forces, the Taliban regime requested Jumma Khan Fateh to halt the fighting. A jirga subsequently met with Fateh, and after consultations and agreement on his demands, he agreed to stop the fighting on his own terms. Jumma Khan Fateh and Fasihuddin Fitrat were then flown by Taliban helicopter to Faizabad, from where Fitrat will accompany Fateh to Kabul.

The attackers attempted to breach the post using two vehicles but were repelled by an immediate and decisive response. Several Khawarij were killed, while grenades, IEDs, TTP-linked material and wire cutters were recovered.
