The governor of NJ assembled the State Police in response to recent violence from ICE against protestors. Instead of it being calmer. Tonight outside of Delaney Hall was the worst night for protestors. I can’t imagine what it is like inside.

29 degrees tonight. Black Lives Matter Paterson is out with hot meals, hot chocolate, blankets, coats, gloves, and rides to the warming center. Someone froze to death sleeping outside last night. Community care keeps people alive.

Victoria Lee was a Korean American woman experiencing a mental health crisis. Her family called 911. Then called again to ask for an ambulance and not police. Police came anyway and shot and killer her. And the body camera is way worse.

This is horrible. Woodbridge Police killed Aamir Allen violating NJ Use of Force laws and rights of humanity. Police cannot be judge, jury and executioner. Sgt. Marco Bruno has now been convicted and faces an aggravated manslaughter charges.

This is beyond terrible. Not only were multiple people injured after a drive by shooting. But Paterson police in NJ then assaulted someone trying to get to their injured brother. Punching in his face, pulling his hair so hard that he tears out his locs.

Police should never be allowed to be judge, jury and executioner. Paterson police being under state control has not stopped it from it being allowed to be a rogue police department where anything goes, and is excused or covered up.

The curfew and designated freedom of speech zones have been lifted. Everyone erupted into chant. “The people united will never be defeated.”
