Ammarin Lada Tunstall, 35, was pepper sprayed, tased, and dragged by police—then labeled a possible overdose. He died within 30 minutes in custody. No footage released. No answers. His family deserves transparency and the truth, not a sole grainy witness video

Najee Seabrooks was a member of the Paterson Healing Collective, an organization dedicated to interrupting violence. They bring healing and joy for the community. Police shot & killed him Friday while he was experiencing a mental health crisis.

The governor of NJ assembled the State Police in response to recent violence from ICE against protestors. Instead of it being calmer. Tonight outside of Delaney Hall was the worst night for protestors. I can’t imagine what it is like inside.

29 degrees tonight. Black Lives Matter Paterson is out with hot meals, hot chocolate, blankets, coats, gloves, and rides to the warming center. Someone froze to death sleeping outside last night. Community care keeps people alive.

For over 30 years, Harlem businesses had shut down for 3 hours to honor Malcolm X’s birthday. Chic-Fil-A made the decision to stay open. So this happened.

Everyone needs to see what’s happening outside the ICE detention center Delaney Hall once media leaves at night. Assaulting non violent protestors. Imagine what they do to detainees.

“If you were a slave and I were your master, and the only way for you to be free was to strike your blow to kill me, what would you do?” - Kwame Ture

If a man comes into your life, wouldn’t you want to compromise?

What’s the issue? 😂😂 (🎥 @smithknation)

Delaney Hall employee telling a protestor that he’ll “murder him”. If they are saying this on the outside, imagine what they are saying and doing inside.

“Anyone who is depriving you of freedom, isn’t deserving of a peaceful approach” Malcolm X interview in England

“Tired of marching for something that should’ve been mine at birth.” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr

I was just sent this video. Delaney Hall. Local and state police. Not ICE. No amount of de-escalation training can stop police from being police.

Victoria Lee was a Korean American woman experiencing a mental health crisis. Her family called 911. Then called again to ask for an ambulance and not police. Police came anyway and shot and killer her. And the body camera is way worse.

When Khadim Thiam and his friends posted a TikTok trying matcha, they were hit with hate — for simply showing joy. So they kept going. Now OSB (One Strong Brotherhood) is breaking stereotypes and spreading Black Boy Joy with every new adventure. We love to see it!

Video of ICE in Passaic, NJ captured by security camera. It’s difficult to make out, but you can hear one say what sounds to be, “in the end they’re going to die.”

This is horrible. Woodbridge Police killed Aamir Allen violating NJ Use of Force laws and rights of humanity. Police cannot be judge, jury and executioner. Sgt. Marco Bruno has now been convicted and faces an aggravated manslaughter charges.

This is beyond terrible. Not only were multiple people injured after a drive by shooting. But Paterson police in NJ then assaulted someone trying to get to their injured brother. Punching in his face, pulling his hair so hard that he tears out his locs.

“The only time non-violence has been admired is when Negroes practice it.”

🚨ICE ALMOST K*LLED INNOCENT KIDS🚨 ONCE AGAIN THEY CAUSE A HORRIFIC ACCIDENT, THIS TIME INVOLVING CHILDREN AND THEY STAND AROUND AND DO NOTHING‼️ #NewarkNJ

Protestors take over the Brooklyn Bridge in the memory of Yusef Hawkins, a Black teen from East New York beaten and fatally shot by white teens in Bensonhurst while trying to buy a used car.

Kwame Ture (Stokely Carmichael): “There’s a difference between peace and liberation.” Directed by: Peter Brook Source: Tell Me Lies (1968)

“Black people need some peace”

Police should never be allowed to be judge, jury and executioner. Paterson police being under state control has not stopped it from it being allowed to be a rogue police department where anything goes, and is excused or covered up.
