Introducing Trailing Stoploss on Kite web. A regular stop loss stays fixed at the price you set. This works when you enter a trade, but it can become a problem if the trade moves in your favour. Say you buy a stock at ₹100 and set a stop loss at ₹90. The stock then moves to ₹140, but your stop loss remains at ₹90. If the price reverses, you could give back a large part of the move. The obvious solution is to keep moving the stop loss higher manually. But once the trade is live, it is easy to delay the decision, second-guess the move, or miss the price action altogether. With trailing stoploss, this adjustment happens automatically. The stop-loss trigger moves as the trade moves in your direction and stays unchanged when the price moves against you. We tend to think scams are easy to spot because something will look obviously fake. Often, it’s the opposite. Scammers can use a real company’s name, copy its website or app, talk about an actual product, and even give you information that’s partly correct. That little bit of truth is what makes the scam believable. So instead of asking whether something looks genuine, verify it yourself. If someone claiming to be from Zerodha contacts you, don’t use the links, phone numbers, apps, or contact details they send you. You can check information about Zerodha and our products here: - for product features, processes, and FAQs. - for important updates You can also verify whether a call or email is actually from Zerodha: - Verify calls: - Verify emails: Zerodha will never give you stock tips or advice, ask for your password or OTP, or ask you to transfer money to a personal or unknown bank account. We’ve put together a simple checklist you can use to stay safe from scams.

The closer you get to a financial goal, the less time you have to recover from a market fall. Yet many portfolios remain just as risky near the goal as they were at the start. Reducing risk over time sounds easy, but behaviour often gets in the way. When markets are rising, cutting equity exposure feels like missing out. When they fall, it feels like locking in losses. So many investors delay rebalancing and take more risk than they should. Life Cycle funds address this through a pre-defined glide path. They invest across equity, debt, and gold, gradually reducing equity exposure and making the portfolio more conservative as the target year approaches. Zerodha Fund House has launched two such funds: - Zerodha Life Cycle Fund 2036: for goals roughly 10 years away - Zerodha Life Cycle Fund 2041: for goals roughly 15 years away The NFO is now open on Coin by Zerodha.
