Really cool new glitch in OoT was just found. Using a bottled item as a lingering hitbox is disappearing can cause the bottled item to overwrite damage values. 2 big uses so far are beating Volvagia without hammer, and Ganondorf without light arrows.

Obligatory Switch 2 review of OoT input lag might be a bit better at the cost of significant audio delay... (menu sounds at the start for comparison)

Gonna post some of the more interesting changes I noticed in the new remake footage The cucco in Market that the little girl is chasing in the original could not be hit, but now you can hurt it right in front of her and cause an attack in town.

This trick normally requires a very precise setup but you can just Be Good

Had a horrible seed going with almost no good items, I was so desperate I had to resort to guessing the bombers code and got it first try and it was an actually really good item insane luck (the seed was impossible anyway lmao)

I was playing around with exploring the nocturne of shadow cutscene (where kakariko is on fire) and I was looking for the sound of a cucco which normally isn't there, and found this

Playing MM rando with a setting that makes enemies move at 2x speed. Got frozen by a gibdo who freezes me at 2x speed and got stunlocked lmao

One of the JP 1.0 OoT carts I have has a near-100% save file (19 hearts and 82 GS) from the original owner, so I decided to try and complete it 100%, and also learned a lot about how he played through the game. Here is としあき's scarecrows song played at the end of the credits

Bro ruined the moment

A really cool new trick was found in OoT recently to Hookshot Jump all the way up Fire Temple and skip most of the dungeon up to Hammer. This saves over 2 minutes in categories that do Fire Temple and was one of the biggest tricks still left to find.

After 12+ hours stuck in the same room, and with the help of a bunch of other OoT glitch hunters, we finally made a setup for one of the hardest tricks in the game and I got it fully legit (explanation + full setup video in replies)
