Netflix CEO announcing price increase now that it owns The Wire, The Sopranos & GOT.

Unscripted. Wood Harris is brilliant.

A meme is born.

Unscripted. Some Wood Harris brilliance.

This has already been settled.

“Man, look the part, be the part, motherfucker.”

Same playbook. Only difference is one group is a bunch of grifting, morally bankrupt criminals. The other group is Avon and Marlo.

The Wire is a documentary.

The Wire will be relevant 20 years from now.

Funniest moment in #TheWire? I’ll start:

Took his kids to the morgue with Omar (on a school night). Brought Bubbles to the kids soccer game. Fucking Jimmy.

“World going one way, people another” -Poot

#StPatricksDay shoutout to Shamrock.

It’s been a wild ride. I’m going to shut this account down for awhile. Nothing is more important to me than my dogs. (That’s Bodie) Thank you David Simon, thank you Wendell Pierce thank you Tray Chaney. DaJuan.. I can never tag you. You are my main man. Humble to the end.

C'est simple. #TheWire.

“Yeah, me too.” -Snoop (wasn’t in the script, she ad-libbed the response).

Happy #4thofJuly America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Please stayed tuned for the Democratic response from Senator Clay Davis of Maryland.

Season 2 of The Wire ended 23 years ago today. Probably the most underrated, overhated season of television ever. Season 2 is a litmus test. People who don’t appreciate it can’t truly understand what the show is really about.

Happy 57th birthday to Dominic West, Jimmy McNulty on The Wire. Born October 15th, 1969 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.

If white boys wanna sell drugs at Penn State they have to make different laws for it... like even it out for them.

Boosie got rainmade worse than Stringer Bell.

Baker never made any money from the billions of nuggets sold since McDonald's sold the first chicken nugget. “Fuck ‘right.’ It ain't about right, it's about money.” -D’Angelo Barksdale

26 years ago today ‘The Corner’ premiered on HBO. The show won 3 Emmy Awards for writing, directing and best miniseries.

Shame he passed away just two years before his music was used in Season 2. Stelios Kazantzidis would’ve turned 95 today.

They literally had a character whose entire storyline was buying burner phones for the Barksdale crew and his stupidity would eventually bring down the whole organization.

In the episode Middle Ground, “A Place Nobody Can Find” by Sam & Dave is playing in the background. Stringer’s fate is sealed.

Dukie missed out on the $200.

Ah, I see you got the DeWalt cordless… As the 21st anniversary of #TheWire nears, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite scenes. This is one of them.

Yo, Bodie, you better run, yo…

10 year old Omar already had the scar on his face. No-Heart Anthony still had a heart.
