🚫 Orbán Viktor: In response, we have acted. Together with Slovakia, we halted diesel shipments to Ukraine. We vetoed €90 billion in funding and blocked the next sanctions package. As long as oil is withheld from Hungary, we will block pro-Ukraine decisions in Brussels.

🇭🇺 The government is launching the national petition to give the Hungarian people, for the first and only time in Europe, a chance to decide whether they want Brussels to spend our money on war and Ukraine. ❗️In Brussels, it has been decided that the war and Ukraine will be paid for with Europeans’ money, however much it costs and however long it lasts. ✋ It is time to put a stop to this. I urge everyone who does not want Hungarians to pay for the war, to pay for Ukraine’s operations, and to face even higher rents because of the war, to join the petition and send a clear message to Brussels and its puppets: we will not pay. 📅 The deadline to return the petition is 23 March. Let’s tell Brussels—we won’t pay.

❗️Let's get some facts straight about the case of #IlariaSalis: 📺 Since mid-February, Ilaria Salis' father, Roberto Salis, has been touring the European media saying that he is "concerned" about his daughter's safety as long as she is in Hungary. Therefore, they applied for house arrest in Italy, about which FM Szijjártó said that "it will be decided by the court, which is an independent body". ⚖️ Last Thursday, the Budapest court rejected Salis' request for house arrest, saying there was a risk that she would flee or go into hiding. Prosecutors are now seeking an 11-year sentence for her. 🤔 Why is that? 👊 Because there's a reasonable suspicion that Ilaria Salis traveled to Hungary with her two #antifa associates with the aim of beating up innocent people on the streets of Budapest. Meanwhile, the Italian media did its best to portray Salis as a martyr. 📣 "It's astonishing that they are trying to interfere with a Hungarian court case from Italy," FM Szijjártó said about a month ago. Highlighting the premeditated nature of the act, he said that "this wasn't a crime committed on a whim but a well-thought-out, planned act.
