4am. Tea is going cold. The house is quiet.... Everyone else is sleeping. Outside still dark through the window. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧. I lead product engineering by day. I manage 3 teams. I support 4M active users. I build iOS & Android apps and AI systems. I teach team members how to use Codex & Claude in their daily work to build things that move the business. But before any of that starts, I'm building. Agentic systems for AI-native businesses. Agents that think, route, and act without me holding their hand. The brain that remembers the whole business. AI automations that run while I sleep. A startup I'm growing with my partners in Bali. This 4am window is the only one that fully belongs to me. No Slack. No meetings. No one needs anything yet. Just me, a hot tea, and a problem worth solving. I'm 53. I spent 12 years in management. Good work, real impact and solving complex problems. But somewhere in there I stopped building with my own hands. Returning to code has been the most fun I've had in years. I think a lot of people have a version of this hunger. They just haven't found the window yet. Everybody has a window like this somewhere. Maybe it's 4am. Maybe it's a lunch break. Maybe it's the 45 minutes after the kids go to bed. What is the window that belongs to you?show more

I never thought I would ever say this, but... I have truly lost all my confidence today. A part of me still believes in my work and knows the value of what I have built here over the past five years. At the same time, I just feel faded. The people I associated with closely haven't supported me, and the majority of my collector base has left the space. I still took it on the chin and continued to show up because I blindly believed in what I do and I know what it has done for me. I never had a Plan B. There was never a backup plan, and that is exactly why I even got here in the first place. I was good for nothing but art, and that is the reason I have always said that art saved my life. But lately, it feels like it is the very thing that is going to kill me. I really don't know how I feel about everything anymore. I just don't know. But I am not going anywhere. This is my home, so I still gonna continue to show up! I just needed to get this off my chest.show more

Andrej Karpathy calls AI Agents slop "Overall, the models... they are not there. And I feel like the industry [...] it's making too big of a jump and it's trying to pretend that this is amazing. And it's not—it's slop! And I think they are not coming to terms with it. And maybe they are trying to fundraise or something like that, I'm not sure what's going on."show more

I don't know what the people hyping up HTMX... are trying to build... but simple things, such as re-enabling a button when I click back in my browser, do not work out of the box using htmx and htmx-indicators. Maybe it's a bug? Maybe it's a skill issue? I'm starting to think this is actually a meme.show more

I mean you do have a very good point,... however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.show more

I'm in WA, and I wanted to get a... trolly to cart our shopping to the bus, but Coles wouldn't let me out of their plastic doors, because APPARENTLY, it's Ai facial recognition system had decided that i was attempting to leaven without paying. It decided, allegedly, that I was a thief. So I shoved the barrier aside and loads of people followed me, this is an authentic AI representation of that moment. Coles Supermarketsshow more

+113k No words can describe the month that I... had to be honest and all I can thank is God and the relations that I have made. To say that 3 months ago I went from -3k -> 5.6k -> 23k to now is just so amazing for me. Im happy with the turnout of every single day as well as I can't thank 67FnF anymore and all the boys that are in there 30-1 pretty damn happy and my 1 off day is the day after I ended a 4-year relationship so i'm happy to say I kept my head down and kept grinding. To 2026, i'm happy to be in the circle I am and good luck to everyone in this Q1 Cycle!show more

It pains me to know that the belief is... that a therapist role is to "validate". I do not validate. If you are with me in a clinical setting and what you're saying doesn't make any damn sense, I'm going to have you walk me through it. What I've discovered is that a lot of the dysfunction people have is that they've never articulated their beliefs and so have no idea how absurd they are. Simply going through the exercise of having to explain yourself can be deeply rewarding. It's something we call "accountability". You literally account for yourself. Sure, I've had some female clients chimp out and flee never to be seen again at their first contact with a mirror. I've had many others weep openly that actually being held psychologically. One I will never get out of my mind was a wonderful 30-something year old woman who cried and said, "I have been in therapy for 7 years. Why has nobody ever challenged me and help me see that I'm the one causing all this shit?" That's an important question. And it's crucial that if you see a therapist, you don't see a charlatan. You can tell the good ones by their headgear.show more

📢Good morning friends, I have something to tell you!... My fl house is under contract and I put in an offer on a small farm here, contingent of my home selling so I can use those funds. They counter offered and that counter offer included 6 hens, 1 rooster and 2 very friendly geese. I accepted. I've been eyeballing that farm since late july when I started wanting to move. It's been on the market 8 months, nobody wanted it because the kitchen is in a separate building. The realtor told the owner "just put in a tiny kitchen in the main house " and he said "no, God will send the right person at the right time that will want this house exactly how it is" I think that person is me 🙏show more

🇱🇻🇷🇺 “Russia has a “window of opportunity” for aggression... against NATO until 2030” — Commander of the Latvian Armed Forces Kaspars Pudans. According to him, Russia’s readiness for a new large-scale war is only a matter of time. Pudans also noted that the Kremlin “does not want the problems that a demobilized population could bring in the event of the end of the war in Ukraine or the temporary formalization of a ceasefire.” “Therefore, the most likely scenario is the transfer of forces to our eastern borders. If I were sitting in the Kremlin, I would say that my window of opportunity is 2027-2029 — while NATO is not ready, because from 2030 this window may close” Video is generated by grok AIshow more

Yesterday, I got my biggest airdrop yet, the love... of my life. 💍 My own 1 of 1, I waited patiently all these years. Trust me, I deserve every good thing that has come my way in 2025. I’ve never felt peace this loud, the kind that hums through your skin and makes time slow down. The laughter, the music, the soft chaos of joy. It all made sense. Maybe this is what alignment feels like, when your heart syncs perfectly with the universe. And in the next life, I still want to spend it with you. What if I told you I planned some part of this beautiful day using the Sentient chat, ranging from looking for locations around my environ. the AI helped with my gown inspo. Love is such a beautiful thing. Before you scroll, none of this is real. I hope I haven't gambled finding my love cos I want to shitpost about YEET & Lombard. one day, this will come to pass and when it does I hope it's one of the sweetest things that ever happened to me.show more

As someone who is pretty up to date in... AI I’d say there are 2 times a year where I am genuinely blown away by something. A breakthrough that keeps me up at night. This is one of them. I mean the video of will smith genuinely freaks me out by how good it is. 2.5 years of AI progress and you think it’s hitting a wall. There’s no point in trying to convince people where this is going. The writing is on the wall. I can bring a horse to water but I can’t force him to drink.show more

While I have premium I definitely want to do... a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...show more

The thing I love most after enlistment is how... Jimin’s light isn’t just bright. It’s the brightest it has ever been. There’s a glow to him, a quiet radiance with that warm aura you can feel in his smile and those soft giggles. Like I said in my post, he looks freer. I’ve been a Jimin bias for a long time, from the very beginning, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him shine quite like this. I keep going through old memories because this version of him carries pieces of every era I fell in love with. Maybe it’s simply been too long since we’ve seen him like this. Maybe I’m overwhelmed and grateful that he’s truly back. Maybe. Maybe not. But something about him now tells me he’s okay. He feels more grounded, more secure in himself, standing in a place that feels steady under him. His confidence is quiet but unmistakably real. And just to be clear, it’s not that he lacked confidence at any point in the last ten years. He always had it. What I mean is that this Jimin… it’s a different kind. It's a“He doesn’t give a fuck” kind of confidence, the type that comes from knowing himself completely and choosing to live in that freedom. Every single thing about him right now is just beautiful. The way he moves, the way he laughs, the way he carries this calm, freeing aura. It makes me happy… genuinely and deeply happy to witness this version of him.show more

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is... just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new ADshow more

I'm laying in my tent reflecting on my life... right now..and I have to say, some would say my life situation of being homeless is a sad thing .. because you see people out there who are addicts and in bad situations .. but mine isn't anything like that. Although I havent had a home in 10 years, I see and feel the blessing. I'm so free in life to live how I want in life. Sure while sometimes I desire a bed to come home too.. I get to have a bed anywhere in life I want. I'm so free to live and explore as I please with nothing to tie me down. If I could share any piece of advice, it is simple do not trade your freedom of life for the chains of society and what they deem how YOU should live. I promise in this day and age you can be so free and make money without anyone there to tell you when to clock in, when to eat lunch, when you can use the bathroom, none of that! I hope you all find the bliss I feel in life someday.show more
