A man may feel like he is supposed to have everything figured out, even when he's dealing with the same rising costs and financial uncertainty as everyone else. He might not want to complain about it because he feels like he is supposed to simply handle it. But struggling financially does not automatically mean someone is lazy, irresponsible, or not trying hard enough. At the same time, there is something admirable about a man who keeps working toward a better situation instead of giving up. Maybe that means learning a new skill, taking on extra work, starting a business, cutting unnecessary expenses, or simply being patient while trying to get ahead. It may take longer than expected, and sometimes progress can be painfully slow. It's also important to remember that a man's worth should not be measured by the size of his paycheck. Providing for family is important of course, but being a good husband, father, friend, neighbor, and member of a community matters too.
