Swimming upstream is amazing because it flips intuition on... its head: instead of being carried by the flow, these tiny swimmers use vortices and pressure gradients in the current to move forward. Garuda Sanjivani shows how life doesn’t fight physics;it recruits it.show more

Same style prompt in Minimax H3, an AI video... model running locally on my PC at only 720p resolution, 15-second generation. I took some "liberties" with the prompt to test some physics... Now, compared to Seedance 2.5 or many of the top closed models, Minimax H3 running locally, quantized and optimized for speed, is definitely weaker at following prompts, but it's just amazing that we have an open-weight model that's this powerful and not some closed-source cloud model. It missed several things, like the barking, the cart turning into a bicycle, and she drops the bags at the beginning, along with some ghosting issues, but it's pretty darn good. Also... did I mention it's uncensored?show more

the face acting is SO expressive!! i love the... dedication!! i want to add on this topic as a live2d rigger! i get asked alot on stream how i get my model so bouncy and animated like do i nod like a bobblehead? am i jumping in my seat?? and the answer is: NOPE! 🧵 here's some things i did to achieve this: ☑️connecting brow movement to shoulder shrugs ☑️syncing mouth forms to model bounces (this might be too much depending on how expressive you are) ☑️rigging mouth shapes to influence eye movement ☑️adding body bounce physics would anyone be interested in a youtube breakdown? because i have THOUGHTS being expressive facially can really help the model be more life-like & ressnie did an amazing job!! rigging plays a huge part too! the amount of life you can breathe into a model through rigging is insane!! I can't believe how good this turned out. Recently,... I put out my first physics paper proposing that life and the universe might be the result of a law governing how oscillators sync up and couple together. I find it beautiful, awe-inspiring, and deeply meaningful. It aligns with how I have always seen the world. It suggests that there is an arrow of negative entropy, a law governing how life forms in all of its complexity. Learning about it is intimidating. I am self-taught, and have struggled for months to understand and articulate the core concepts and framework. After I put out the paper, I was challenged by Danielle Fong 🔆 to make an 'explorable explanation'. A guide you can walk through, and which will hold your hand through each concept, equation, and principle. It was amazing to make. In fact, I plan to make many more covering the wide range of topics I have been researching and exploring. Both to help me, and because I believe that this is something the world needs right now. "Elon Musk is not an engineer." John Carmack: Elon... is definitely an engineer. He is deeply involved with technical decisions at SpaceX and Tesla. He doesn’t write code or do CAD today, but he is perfectly capable of doing so. Robert Zubrin: When I met Elon it was apparent to me that although he had a scientific mind and he understood scientific principles, he did not know anything about rockets. Nothing. That was in 2001, by 2007 he knew everything about rockets – he really knew everything, in detail. You have to put some serious study in to know as much about rockets as he knows now. This doesn't come just from hanging out with people. Eric Berger: Elon is the chief engineer in name and reality. Josh Boehm: Elon is both the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer of SpaceX, so of course he does more than just some very technical work. He is integrally involved in the actual design and engineering of the rocket, and at least touches every other aspect of the business. Elon is an engineer at heart, and that’s where and how he works best. Garrett Reisman: He’s obviously skilled at all different functions, but certainly what really drives him and where his passion really is, is his role as Chief Engineer. That’s the part of the job that really plays to his strengths. Tom Mueller: Elon and the Propulsion department are leading development of the SpaceX engines, particularly Raptor. Kevin Watson: Elon is brilliant. He’s involved in just about everything. He understands everything. If he asks you a question, you learn very quickly not to go give him a gut reaction. He wants answers that get down to the fundamental laws of physics. One thing he understands really well is the physics of the rockets. He understands that like nobody else. The stuff I have seen him do in his head is crazy. He can get in discussions about flying a satellite and whether we can make the right orbit and deliver Dragon at the same time and solve all these equations in real time. It’s amazing to watch the amount of knowledge he has accumulated over the years.show more

𝗣𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻: "𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮." After working... with many 𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 teams who've fallen into the simulation trap, here's what I've learned: Simulation teaches your robot to be really, really good at simulation. Unlike blind locomotion policies that can get away with sim-to-real transfer because they rely mainly on proprioception and contact forces, 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗮𝗽. The subtle differences accumulate: - Simulated friction vs real surface textures - Perfect lighting vs shadows, reflections, glare - Ideal object geometries vs manufacturing tolerances - Instantaneous sensor readings vs real-world noise and latency - Clean backgrounds vs cluttered, dynamic environments 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Week 1: "Our model works perfectly in sim!" Week 2: "Let's collect some real data to fine-tune." Week 3: "The real data completely contradicts what the sim taught..." Week 4: "Okay, let's collect way more real data." Month 2: "We basically need to retrain from scratch." 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵: There's no shortcut to real-world data collection for vision-based manipulation. Simulation is amazing for debugging, prototyping, safety testing, and of course to supplement your real data. But it's not a substitute for understanding how your robot actually behaves in the actual environment. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: Use simulation strategically - for exploring edge cases, testing safety boundaries, and rapid iteration. But build your production models on real data from real environments. The teams that succeed treat simulation as a powerful tool, not a magic solution. This is why Neuracore focuses on making real-world data collection so much easier and faster. Because the physics of your actual environment can't be simulated away. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘆? 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝗺-𝘁𝗼-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿? This AI video is absolutely amazing 🔥 Created with... Seedance 2.5 Prompt : SCENE — WATERBENDING AMBUSH DURATION: exactly 10 seconds FORMAT: 16:9 STYLE: ultra-photorealistic live-action fantasy action, grounded CGI, realistic water physics, Hollywood stunt choreography, practical jungle-temple location, handheld cinematography, seamless VFX integration, no digital-art appearance. PACE: extremely fast continuous combat, zero pauses, zero idle moments, action already in progress. REFERENCES IMAGE 1 — ARMAN Preserve facial identity, hairstyle, body proportions, costume, and appearance exactly. IMAGE 2 — MASTER ENVIRONMENT SHEET Preserve environment, architecture, vegetation, atmosphere, and location identity exactly. IMAGE 3 — ENEMY REFERENCE Preserve enemy armor, silhouette, proportions, and visual identity exactly. ACTION 0.0–2.5 SECONDS — SURROUNDED Fight begins mid-combat. Five armored enemies attack from multiple directions. Arman pivots beneath a frontal strike while a large mass of water is already orbiting around him. He redirects the flow to deflect Enemy A. Several sections split from the moving water, instantly freeze into sharp ice shards, and fire toward attacking enemies. Camera performs fast handheld lateral tracking. 2.5–5.0 SECONDS — ROTATING PRESSURE Enemy C closes from behind. Arman ducks beneath an attack and transitions into a continuous spinning movement. The main water mass whips around him with believable inertia, striking, deflecting, and creating openings. Multiple ice shards separate from the flowing water and launch toward different attackers, forcing evasions and interrupting attacks. Camera reacts with quick pans and target switching. 5.0–7.5 SECONDS — WATER IMPACT Enemy A attacks again. Arman redirects the entire water mass into a powerful lateral strike. Water impact throws the enemy sideways onto wet stone. While the enemy falls, additional ice shards fire toward advancing attackers. Arman immediately turns toward the next threat without stopping. 7.5–10.0 SECONDS — COMBO CONTINUES Enemies close from opposite directions. Arman performs rapid circular footwork while continuously controlling the moving water flow. Fresh ice shards split from the leading edge and fire toward multiple enemies. Enemy C charges directly into range. Arman pivots and accelerates the main water mass toward him. END BEFORE IMPACT. SMASH CUT. ACTION INTERRUPTED MID-COMBO. END. VISUAL RULES - Five active enemies remain engaged throughout. - No enemy stands and watches. - Combat never slows down. - Water remains a single continuous moving mass. - Ice shards separate from the moving water, instantly freeze, and launch as sharp translucent projectiles. - No glowing effects, energy beams, neon trails, or anime aura. - Grounded CGI integrated into live-action photography. - Every action directly causes the next event. - Continuous movement, zero pauses, zero dead frames. - Final frame preserves active combat momentum for Scene 02. CAMERA Reactive handheld Hollywood action camera. Fast but readable movement, medium-wide coverage, brief wider shots for major impacts, natural motion blur, occasional water spray crossing lens. No floating virtual camera. ENVIRONMENT Ancient jungle temple ruins. Wet stone, moss, roots, ferns, waterfalls, dense tropical vegetation, humid atmosphere, realistic live-action location photography. SOUND Raw action only. Footsteps, armor movement, weapons cutting air, rushing water, splashes, ice projectiles, impact sounds, bodies hitting wet ground, distant waterfalls and jungle ambience. NO MUSIC.show more
