After 3 incredible years and 1.6M students later, my... journey at ALX Africa has come to an end. It has been a life-changing experience, during which I made a lot of friends, worked with an incredibly dedicated team, and met so many talented students. A few numbers. We scaled from a few thousand students to 1.6M students on our platform. Students loved it and many of them took more than one course: 4M total! For the famous #ALX_SE Software engineering program, our SE students made an average of 2,000 commits and our checker reviewed 180M of their projects. That’s 2B lines of code… and that was before Claude Code. They actually wrote these themselves (unless Kimba said otherwise :) A big thank you to all my SE team mates, I am so proud of what we have accomplished, and I will really miss you all. Thank you to Fred for the trust he put in me and always supporting my crazy new and disruptive ideas. Thank you to my students. It was an honor to work with you, watch you struggle but relentlessly move forward, no matter what, until you got this job. To those who are still struggling finding this job, keep pushing forward. Amidst the accusations and misconceptions that I string slapped... myself on purpose to “sell” something that was a complete joke, I actually did have the chance to hit the range! 😂🏹 And you know what? It was an absolute blast, just like always. This marked my inaugural lesson with a compound bow, and I’ve got to say, I’m hooked! The difference from a recurve bow was striking. It seemed to be a lot more forgiving when it came to getting consistently good shots and tight groupings. If I ever decide to take the plunge into bowhunting, the compound would definitely be my weapon of choice for accuracy, a crucial element in hunting. It also made me appreciate the level of skill required to excel with a recurve bow. There are fewer bells and whistles to help with accuracy, which means you really need to hone your skill. Rest assured, if I ever embark on a bowhunting journey, it will be after extensive practice and mastery of the sport. 🦌🌿 Using my new Hoyt Eclipse of course! 😉show more

Guess who’s back… back AGAIN! Three years ago, I... tore my left Achilles. A few months after I partially tore my left ACL. Then, in 2025, I tore that same ACL completely, tore my meniscus, and sprained my MCL—all in my left leg. Setback after setback left me feeling like I would never be the same. Today, I can finally say I feel like my old self. Thank you to my surgeon, doctors, athletic trainers, weightroom coaches and everyone else who helped me through this journey. You gave me the opportunity to be an athlete again. To my family—thank you for supporting me along the way. And to Jonah… thank you for carrying me through the hardest season of my life. Thank you for every appointment, every encouraging conversation, every moment you reminded me who I was when I had a hard time seeing it myself. What you see on the screen is not a render from Blender (obviously, it’s not that good). It’s a three.js app built with Toolcraft. Available on the web and rendered in real time(link in the comments). But Blender still has a lot to do with it. Blender has Geometry Nodes - a powerful node-based system for creating and manipulating procedural geometry. In other words, it’s math. And math is a universal language. And who do you think is pretty good at math? >>> AI. Now you can download or buy Blender files from marketplaces, and when they contain Geometry Nodes for procedural animations, objects, surfaces, or effects, you can transfer that logic to the web. Make it real-time, make it interactive. Materials are a separate story, of course. I promise you. If you get AIW new tune... you will be missing 30% of audio. Anyone who is in front of you (that includes a little to the left and right) you will not hear. Pay attention to the video on “someone else’s tune.” If you want your own sound to be silent, you will lose more than your audio. BO6 updated to nerf this. I’ve done a ton of testing since launch. I have literally grinded 2 accounts while testing. I know he doesn’t want to lose customers but this is silly to hurt customers audio just to make it sound like your “old sound.” Shit changes. HABIT MATH: I do a 3-minute deep squat every... morning, no exceptions. Those last two words are crucial. Everyone has 3 minutes to spare—but it’s SOOO easy to skip a day. Then two. Individually, those days don’t matter. But over the course of a year, 3 minutes a day adds up to 18 hours. It’s the difference between improvement (in your ankles, knees, hips, and lower back) and decline. Look, I’m the least structured, least rigid person you follow. I don’t keep a schedule or budget.
