Starting a new project today, building an end to... end system to forecast traffic of flights across cities (starting with Mumbai) The idea is to implement > ingestion service with kafka > data etl with polars > feast for feature store // mlflow for model registry > batch inferencing // dashboard > s3 // postgres for data storage All this orchestrated across multiple DAGs built with Airflow. In 2025, the AgentFlayer exploit highlighted a new category... of risk in AI systems. It was not a traditional breach involving stolen credentials or broken encryption. Instead, it demonstrated how an autonomous AI agent could be manipulated into executing unintended actions by processing malicious instructions embedded inside content it automatically processes. The incident did not expose a flaw in one specific integration. It revealed a structural weakness in how many modern AI agents are built. Today’s agents are no longer passive language models. They read documents automatically, scan emails, connect to SaaS tools, access cloud storage, and execute actions across multiple systems. To be useful, they are granted meaningful permissions. That capability creates value, but it also expands the attack surface. Most agent environments operate in a trusted, plaintext execution model. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, but it is typically decrypted during inference so the model can process it. That runtime visibility is where potential risk lies. In a zero-click scenario like AgentFlayer, an attacker can embed hidden instructions inside a document that the AI processes automatically. Because the agent may have access to connected systems such as Google Drive, Slack, or GitHub, it can potentially be influenced to retrieve sensitive information or perform unintended actions. The user does not need to click a malicious link or approve a suspicious request. Therefore, the core issue is that during execution, the system may have access to sensitive data and broad privileges, meaning whoever controls the execution environment ultimately controls access to that data. Now consider a different architectural approach. If a system is designed so that data remains protected during execution, the risk profile changes. On Nesa, privacy is enforced at the execution layer through Equivariant Encryption. Computation can occur on encrypted data, reducing the visibility surface during runtime. Sensitive inputs and models do not need to be exposed in plain text to infrastructure operators for inference to occur. This does not eliminate prompt injection, logic manipulation, or tool misuse. Encryption alone cannot prevent an agent from being instructed to take an unintended action if it has been granted that permission. What it does do is materially reduce confidentiality risk. By limiting access to readable sensitive data during execution and reducing unilateral visibility at the infrastructure layer, the potential blast radius of a successful manipulation attempt is constrained. As AI agents become more autonomous and embedded into enterprise workflows, security must move deeper into architecture. The goal is not to claim invulnerability. It is to reduce trust concentration and contain systemic exposure when failures occur. AgentFlayer was not simply a one-off exploit. It was a reminder that in autonomous systems, execution-layer design determines how risk propagates.show more

System ID for legged robots is hard: (1) Discontinuous... dynamics and (2) many parameters to identify and hard to "excite" them. SPI-Active is a general tool for legged robot system ID. Key ideas: (1) massively parallel sampling-based optimization, (2) structured parameter space, and (3) active exploration based on Fisher Information to collect the most informative data in real. SPI-Active provides an accurate robot model and effectively reduces the sim2real gap. In sim2real policy learning setting, it outperforms baselines by 42-63% in various quadruped & humanoid tasks. Now that Trump has been exposed as a total... sellout who never intended to do anything with his power except enrich himself, the political establishment is working overtime to funnel people back into the duopoly. The establishment is counting on the public to have amnesia and overlook how their corruption paved the way for a conman like Trump to rise to power in the first place. There is something worse than Trump’s two presidencies, and that is learning nothing from them and allowing both parties to return us to the failed status quo, which will only lead to an even worse Trump in the future. I’m going to do my best in this post to remind you how we got here and, more importantly, where we go from here. So how did we get here? The capitalist duopoly. The problem is not Republicans or Democrats. The problem is Republicans and Democrats. Both parties have spent decades using our government to enrich themselves and their corporate donors at our expense. They turned the US government into a money laundering organization for corporate America, the military-industrial complex, Israel, and the billionaire class. There is not a single thing our government does well for the people because its entire purpose is to serve the rich. Now here’s the part MAGA does not want to hear, but it is the truth: Trump was never the solution to any of this. His form of populism has always been fake & leaned on nationalist rhetoric to appeal to white working class voters without any substantive policies to improve life for anyone outside the richest 1%. Trump knew the system was corrupt and that people were struggling, but he never intended to actually do anything about it. Instead he took advantage of people who rightly lost faith in a system that only serves the elite by selling them the exact same corrupt system, only he covered it in bright red MAGA paint. Now here’s the part Blue MAGA does not want to hear, but it’s the truth: The Democrats are not the solution to any of this either. Things didn’t get better under Biden because Democrats serve the same corrupt capitalist and imperialist system that Republicans do. Biden funding a genocide and betraying railroad workers should have made this clear. Democrats certainly love to use nicer rhetoric than Republicans, but this is only to deceive the public from the party’s true purpose, which is to serve capital and betray workers. So where does that leave us? What is the solution when both parties are this corrupt and exist to serve the rich, not the people? The solution is we desperately need a new system that puts people over profits. And since the elites who control both parties will never let us vote for that system, we’re going to have to rise up together and fight for it!show more
