One of our other pregnant goats just delivered! Luck... has not been on our side though. We had to call our Dr. Pol out because the first one was breached and I couldn't get it. He eventually got it. The second baby was stuck in the uterine horn and doc struggled with it. It was dead even before it was delivered. So 2 girls, but only one survived. We have 4 more pregnant moms due any day now!show more

It was almost like he thought if he rolled enough, he could roll the bath right off! You always knew he was about to roll because he would trot over to his favorite spot, stop, look around as if to check if anyone was watching, then plop down earthquake-style and start rolling. When it was bath time, he would make sure he had tried out every trick first, skipping a few steps, then plop down and start rolling like a pro. He was such a big baby and we miss him so much. He’s communicating! Big G made sure to tell me... to “hurry up!” with his dinner tonight. The snuffling you hear is because he’d just dunked his snout in the water bowl. He seems insistent on doing that once a day, just for giggles. We’re trying the plates that we recently received from one of our magnificent donors and he seems to love them! Yesterday was the first time he let me stay and watch him eat. Tonight, he was totally unconcerned with my presence and immediately tucked into his food. Baby orange steps. 🐈🐾🧡show more

Slushie hasn’t found her forever home yet, but we... still have some really wonderful news to share.
