Based on information received from the Police Control Room... stating that a person was lying on the railway track within the jurisdiction of Yelahanka Police Station, NorthEast Division, Bengaluru City Police, and attempting to commit suicide, Sri Sridhar Murthy, HC-13669, who was on Cheeta vehicle patrol duty, immediately acted upon the information and rushed to the spot without delay. On reaching the location, he safely rescued the person who was attempting suicide. He counselled the individual and provided proper guidance, making him understand that suicide is not a solution to any problem. He then contacted the family members and safely handed the person over to them.
