Bit of a quicker one but here's a Custom... Pivot bone tutorial! This is actually so useful yet I rarely see it in rigs. And it's very easy to makeshow more

Another thing Looking at the animation, it looks like... the mimic was in a bit of a "panic". The way he gets out of dollie is so frantic, and you can see a bit of struggle.. I love it One of the few times a monster actually prioritizes it's own safety over killing someoneshow more

I love how simple yet useful this is. I... have a bunch of gimbal motors that I should use to try and make this.show more

Okay, you overwhelmingly wanted more #ShuffleSaturdays tutorials after I... asked, so here's a quick look at the Roach Stomper - it's very smiliar to the Running Man (which hopefully you've already mastered by now!) but incorporates a pivot to the side in between steps. I might do a regular routine next week, as I have one particular one I've wanted to do for some time now, but we'll see how this one goes first. Have fun with it! 😁😘show more

1/3 So I've been messing around and decided to... make a custom sprite test for Silksong, based on my previous Midna design. This was just for fun and I've only made this one cycle animation. It's the first time that I mod something custom like that so it might be a bit rough!show more

"We're having a concert too. I talk about it... at everyday(*in coldplay concert), so it's a bit embarrassing, but since it's happening this year, I hope you'll come see it if you have time"show more

Transitioning from one transform to another is the most... foundational idea in animation, but I've yet to see a general-purpose tool for doing it in geometry nodes. So, we'll build one in next week's YouTube video! One the most useful downloads I've ever given out for freeshow more

Something I use a lot to support teaching grammar... is the POS tagger. It's free and it's really useful if you're not confident with teaching aspects of grammar. It's a good way to discuss grammar in context and make it visible. #educationshow more

Bit of gamedev magic. The page flipping in Exiled... is actually just a bunch of models that I turn on and off quickly to LOOK like a page flipping. It's possible to get a similar effect with plugins but this was the easier option.show more

This one is a little bit simpler but still... cool. I wanted to make my backdrop feel like an actual world my character inhabits. This is tough in 2d because you don't have the freedom of a 3d world so I had to get creative.show more

The whole level shifting is kind of a fun... effect but this would 100% give some people motion sickness XD It's perhaps a bit "too much" anyway. Anyways, we're getting entities actually coded instead of the fakery I was doing for the prototype! I think ghosthands gimmick will be that they have a set patrol. They can't see or hear. And they won't notice you so long as you sit still while they pass. Could have a bit of fun with it and have them rarely accidentally grope her in passing even if she's still 😅show more
