1,000,000 TAO now staked with Yuma. Because our validators... run on owned hardware infrastructure, that's 1 million more TAO securing Bittensor's network consensus, through validator operations trusted by participants ranging from non-custodial wallet owners to global exchanges and leading institutional custodians. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has chosen Yuma Staking, helping to make us the largest hardware validator on the network. The strongest signal in any network is participation. This milestone reflects growing conviction in Bittensor and the infrastructure that supports it. Bittensor keeps growing. Let's keep building together. bittensor:nativeshow more

Bittensor uses token prices to decide how much each... AI subnet earns Bittensor runs on subnets, separate groups that each compete to supply one kind of AI service. The chain creates new $TAO every 12 seconds and splits it among them. Each subnet has its own token, and its share of the payout tracks that token's average price. Demand for its work feeds into what it earns. Price is not the whole story. The code passes the result through a gate that sharply cuts weaker subnets' shares, and a new subnet starts near zero for about four weeks, blunting launch pumps. Inside each subnet, 18% of the payout goes to its owner, 41% to the miners doing the work, and 41% to validators and their stakers, per Openτensor Foundaτion's documentation.show more

$ASI watch out! We've got more projects popping up... on Bittensor and $TAO and just starting, Akash $AKT, Shell $SHELL, Einstein-AIT $AIT, Sturdy $STRDY, Stratos $STOS and Comtensor $COMAI and more. Each pushing what's possible with AI and crypto. MyShell: $SHELL First up, MyShell is doing something amazing work. They're all about making AI chat like humans. They're using this TTS Subnet on Bittensor, powered by thier tokens, to make it happen. AI doesn't have to be complicated thing only some can use. They want everyone in on the action, making AI smarter in the process. Einstein-AIT: $AIT Then there's Einstein-AIT. Imagine this as the network's brain but on a turbocharge. It's all about math, logic, and crunching numbers. This subnet makes the whole Bittensor network sharper. They've got NumPAL, and it's like giving the AI a smarter way to think about time and dates automatically. Sturdy: $STRDY Jumping into DeFi, we've got Sturdy. These guys are on a mission to make lending and borrowing way less of a headache. They've got isolated lending pools, you can pick and choose how to manage your risks and money. And they're using some serious tech to keep your investments growing without you needing to babysit them. It's like having a smart financial assistant. Comtensor: $COMAI Comtensor is where it gets interesting. Think of it as a bridge between CommuneAI and Bittensor, kind of like the best of both worlds. It's about making sure all these AI modules and subnets can talk to each other smoothly. The goal? To boost decentralized AI by making everything more connected and smart. Stratos: $STOS Teaming up with τensorage to supercharge the $TAO ecosystem on Bittensor. Stratos is all about solid, decentralized storage - think of it as the bedrock for making sure data's not just stored but also used right . Then there’s τensorage, making sure everything AI needs is stored safe. Together, they’re making sure Bittensor's AI brainpower gets a boost, making everything faster, safer, and smoother. Akash: $AKT Compute Subnet 27 linked up with Akash. All about keeping things open-source. With Akash as a decentralized GPU provider into the mix. Giving access to top-notch AI processing power on top of Neural Internets compute-composable subnet, integrating various cloud platforms. This partnership is all about breaking away from those giants and opening the doors wide for smaller teams and startups who need this tech to innovate. Whats this all about? Making decentralized AI a something that everyone can get behind and into. Whether it's chatting with AI, boosting the network's IQ, DeFi, compute or making sure all these projects work together, it's about pushing forward. Each project has its own way of making things better, faster, and smarter for all of us. Inviting everyone to join in, contribute, and be a part of community effort to make AI not just for the few but for everyone. Credit to Mr.Franc Q for the awesome video production!show more

Bittensor's Const stepped down as CEO. He still runs... the place, and says so. Four months after giving up the Opentensor CEO title in a "Satoshi moment," Bittensor's Const (const) is openly stating the obvious: core direction still runs through him. In a new essay he says the AI network is not decentralized where it counts, and that's deliberate. His case is that AI moves too fast to govern by committee, so he and a small group steer it now and decentralize later, a finish line he puts at roughly 18 months, gated behind validator, liquidity, and emissions upgrades. He argues Bittensor is already decentralized where it's hardest to undo: no premine, five years live, 128 subnet teams.show more

🚨ETHEREUM EIP-8222 “LEAN STAKING” PROPOSAL COULD BOOST INSTITUTIONAL PRIVACY... BUT RAISES COSTS! EIP-8222 introduces a native privacy layer for Ethereum staking by decoupling execution-layer deposit addresses from consensus-layer validator keys using zkSNARKs and pending deposit trees. This would make validator activity significantly harder to trace on-chain, addressing a major concern for institutions worried about de-anonymization risks. Sygnum warns the added complexity could increase operational costs and create new compliance burdens for institutional stakers.show more

What is Hedera Hashgraph? Unlike traditional blockchains, Hedera (Hedera)... does not organize transactions into a single chain of blocks. Instead, it uses a different distributed ledger structure called Hashgraph, designed to reach consensus quickly without proof-of-work mining. Here’s how it works: (1) It uses “gossip about gossip.” Nodes continuously share transactions with other nodes. Each message also contains information about previous messages, creating a history of how information moved through the network. This produces a directed acyclic graph, or DAG, rather than a traditional blockchain. (2) It uses virtual voting. Nodes do not need to send separate votes across the network. Instead, they can determine how other nodes would vote by examining the shared history. This reduces communication overhead while helping nodes establish transaction order. (3) It targets fast and final consensus. Hedera uses an asynchronous Byzantine Fault Tolerant, or aBFT, consensus model. Once consensus is reached, transactions achieve finality rather than remaining subject to the probabilistic settlement associated with some proof-of-work systems. (4) HBAR powers the network. HBAR is Hedera’s native cryptocurrency. It is used to pay network fees and plays a role in staking and network services. (5) Hedera is not simply another permissionless blockchain. Hedera is currently a public network with permissioned nodes operated through the Hedera Council. The Council governs key aspects of the network, while the underlying technology and network services are open source. (6) A path toward permissionless nodes is planned, but not live yet. Hedera has published a roadmap to gradually open up node operation beyond Council members, eventually moving toward a fully permissionless model where anyone can run a consensus node by staking HBAR. As of now, that transition has not been implemented, node operation is still limited to Council members. The bigger idea behind Hedera is straightforward. Instead of relying on blocks, miners, and proof-of-work, it uses Hashgraph consensus to coordinate transactions. That architecture is designed to deliver fast finality, high throughput, predictable fees, and low energy consumption. And that is what makes Hedera different from a conventional blockchain.show more
