This is the second of two posts I’m making... about the teaching of Andy Stanley because I have a burden to warn people to be like the Bereans "examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." (Acts 17:11). I have attached a short video clip where Stanley says we don’t know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so. He says it’s the other way around. Now how do we know Jesus bodily rose from the dead? Did any of us see it happen? No, it happened 2000 years ago. But haven’t people researched the resurrection and found all sorts of evidence consistent with Him rising from the dead. Yes, but such evidence, though powerful, and we can certainly use in our witnessing, does not ultimately prove He rose from the dead. In fact, no matter what evidence we point to in geology, biology, astronomy etc., none of this proves in an ultimate sense the bible is true. Now it is certainly true such evidence properly interpreted does confirm the bible’s history. For instance, the molecule of heredity DNA is a complex information system and language system. No one has seen matter produce information or a language from matter by natural processes. Our observations and experience show information and language have to come from an intelligence. Such evidence confirms an intelligence behind life. This certainly confirms the first verse of the bible, “In the beginning God created… .” But nonetheless, it’s not absolute proof. Think about it. We are finite beings living in the present. We don’t know everything. We don’t know how much we don’t know or do know in relation to whatever there is to know! When we try to interpret evidence of the present in relation to the past, how do we know we have all the relevant information to make the correct interpretation. Some information we don’t have could totally change our interpretation. That has certainly happened with scientists solving crimes using circumstantial evidence. When new evidence comes along, some of the interpretations change and certain people thought to be guilty were found they were innocent after-all. We need to have all the information needed. But we can’t know everything. However we have a book that claims over three thousand times to be the Word of God. This book claims that God moved people by His spirit to write His Word, what He wants revealed to us about life, the universe and history. This book, the bible, tells us that God knows everything, He is infinite in knowledge and wisdom. He has all information. “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). If God’s Word is what it claims to be (and it is), then the infinite Creator God has revealed to us the key information we need to know to have the ability to correctly interpret this world in relation to the past, present and its purpose and meaning. “Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God—which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe” (1 Thessalonians 2:13). This means if we build our thinking on God’s Word, we build a Christian worldview to enable us to look at the world through “biblical glasses” and have the ability to correctly interpret and understand it. And Genesis 1-11 is the history that is foundational to the rest of the bible and thus our worldview. So, when we start with God’s Word we learn that the God revealed to us in the bible is the One Who created all things. Now by just looking at the world, for instance at DNA, we might deduce that there’s an intelligence behind life. But we would not know who that intelligence is unless revealed to us. The bible reveals who that intelligence is, God the father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But, if we just looked at the world with all its death, suffering and disease, we could assume that the intelligence behind life must be an ogre to make such a violent disease ridden suffering world. But when we start from God’s Word, we understand there was no death or disease to start with, but these entered the world because of sin. We also find man has a problem called sin which alienated him from God. We even find in Genesis that God promised someone would come to save us from our sin and restore our relationship with God (Genesis 3:15; 3:21). We learn later on that “someone” is Jesus--the one who became flesh for us, the babe in a manger 2000 years ago. It's important to understand we can’t know anything absolutely unless an absolute authority has revealed to us what we need to know. Now Andy Stanley claims we don’t know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so, but claims it’s the other way round, that because Jesus rose from the dead, we can believe what is says about this in the bible. In reality, Andy Stanley is actually claiming he knows all information about the resurrection to know it’s true so then he can proclaim what the bible says about the resurrection is true. This is not so. And remember from the previous post, Andy Stanley accepts man’s view of evolution and millions of years as true to declare what Genesis records about creation is not all true. So why shouldn't people take the word of others who claim Jesus didn't rise from the dead to then declare the account of the resurrection in the gospels can't be true. Stanley, as a finite fallen human being with very limited knowledge, starts outside the bible to go to the bible to make pronouncements over God’s written Word. No wonder he rejects a literal Genesis. Sadly, this is the case for the majority of our church leaders and Christian academics, particularly when it comes to Genesis. Think about it. Really Stanley is acting in accord with our sin nature because of what happened in Genesis 3. Part of our sin nature concerns us wanting to be our own god. Consider Genesis 3:1 and Genesis 3:5, the temptation by the devil. Satan tempted Adam and Eve to question God’s Word, and be want to be like God to decide good and evil, truth, etc., for themselves. In actuality, the statements Andy Stanley is making about Christianity and God’s Word are reflecting this sin problem we have. He is letting his sin nature master over him in this instance instead of letting God’s Word tell us clearly what we should believe. And I would say that about all Christians who reinterpret parts of the bible (like Genesis) because of beliefs from outside the bible. Now the whole bible is actually about Jesus, from the very first verse, that Jesus is the Creator (Colossians 1:16 “For by him all things were created,”), & and he is the Savior (Revelation 5:9), to the very last verse, “He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen” (Revelation 22:20–21) God reveals all we need to know about Jesus in His Word. We know Jesus rose from the dead because the bible tells us so! We know we are sinners because the bible tells us so. We know we can be saved through faith in Christ because the bible tells us so. We know we need to repent of sin because the bible tells us so. As Christians we know we will spend eternity in Heaven because the bible tells us so. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God” (Romans 10:17). I still remember singing the chorus as a child Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so. Yes, the bible tells me so – that’s how know who Jesus is, that He is the Creator, that he died and rose from the dead, and that He is our Savior.show more

As college football coaches, due to our new annual... college football schedule, there aren’t consecutive “Days Off” like we used to have in the past, thus the reason I’m taking advantage of these next few days off — starting today. Context: this is the first time the Atuaia family has been together as one unit since 2020 Covid Christmas. We got up this morning (11am😂) to ready ourselves for a FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT that hasn’t happened since 2017 due to 3 LDS missions, 3 job changes, 3 moves to 3 different states, and mostly the multiple excuses I’ve given NOT to be available for this event. After the Photoshoot, our kids wanted to go to Savage Fish in Millcreek for Pokē. My kids know a little about it, but we (Liz and I) have a Christmas story concerning the owners of Savage Fish. 16 years to the day, we were at BYU struggling financially as I was a full time graduate student and Liz a stay-at-home Mom with our 6 young kids to look after. Literally, every penny went to pay for our daily survival. On this day (23rd) these angels on earth came to our 2 bed/1 bath Wymount Terrace apartment to save Christmas for 6 little kids and 2 thankful parents. Today, as I watched each of my kids order their pokē bowl, the same who were blessed by the owners of Savage Fish years ago, I tugged at Liz’s sweater to reminder her of that day. She smiled and simply said “Tender mercies.” Right now, I’m typing this and drinking my kava while listening to all 7 of my kids, led by the oldest child in our family, putting together over a hundred “GIFT PACKAGES” to personally handout to less fortunate folks outside homeless shelters, multiple public parks, and other areas frequented by this demographic in Salt Lake City area. My kids, not prompted by me in anyway, have done this everywhere we’ve lived in the past: Charlottesville Virginia, Pullman Washington, and now Salt Lake City, Utah. We have been the beneficiaries of other people’s kindness all our lives (including recently with a stranger saving my wife’s life—a stranger we have not found yet), paying it forward is simply just the right thing to do. If we have any juice left tonight, we’ll likely do our annual Christmas Song for the online masses. Or, we’ll just mixx as a family and enjoy laughing like crazy. When The Short Season Ends I have seen it... twice. Once in a vision that left ozone on my tongue for three days. THE ORANGE SKY A burnt deep orange saturating the visible atmosphere from horizon to horizon, the whole sky ringing like a bell struck by something with the mass of a continent and the precision of a watchmaker. The resonance pulse. The fire described in Revelation 20:9 that comes down from heaven, a planetary chord so specific that everything calibrated to the Serpentine bandwidth experiences catastrophic resonance failure while everything tuned to the original frequency feels it as warmth and pressure and a magnificent low sound vibrating in the sternum and the pelvis and the long bones of the legs, the deepest note ever played on the oldest instrument ever built, which is the earth itself, which has been waiting to play this note for over two hundred years. The Norse preserved this as Ragnarök, when Surtr sets the sky ablaze and Jörmungandr that encircled the earth is slain and the corrupted order perishes in fire so that a new world can rise. The Hopi carried it as the great purification that closes the fourth world and opens the fifth. The Lakota kept it burning in the red sky of the ghost dance prophecy. The Book of Revelation set it down in the plain language of an engineer filing a field report from a future coordinate. Every tradition holding its fragment of the same event, passing it hand to hand through the long dark like a coal wrapped in leather, keeping it alive, knowing that one day the coal would start a fire that would burn across the whole earth and leave nothing standing that was not built to endure it. Samsung put up staggering earnings earlier in the week where they became the most profitable company globally ahead of the likes of $NVDA. But the stock has sold off over 12% since.... Clearly, nothing is fundamentally wrong with Samsung. They're booming. So when a historic earnings gets sold, that's most likely a combination of de-leveraging / profit taking. Well, tbh, it doesn't really matter what the issue is, fundamentally they're strong and will continue to be strong. Then shifting back to the US, you'll hopefully remember the rates backdrop that we're currently in from my previous reports. Ultimately, the Fed held rates at 3.50-3.75% in June but there's a hawkish undertone with 9/18 participants projecting at least one hike in 2026. Today's FOMC minutes highlighted that the committee is split roughly 50/50, with a few officials seeing a case for a hike. The 10 Year Treasury Yield is currently at 4.571% at the time of writing this. And while the shocking June payrolls miss (just 57k jobs vs 115k expected) knocked Sep'26 hike odds from about 2/3 to roughly 1/2, oil's spike now revives the inflation case. Meaning that every high beta/multiple growth stock lots of us are invested in are caught between a hawkish Fed and a rising oil price. And looking at other data points such as: - VIX at 16.8 - High yield spreads at circa 2.75% - Gold falling nearly 1% Shows that the geopolitical premium that was build since ~Feb has already unwound significantly. In simple terms: we're in a valuation correction environment (as we know) in crowded AI names w/ a war premium bolted on top. Evidenced by the ongoing rotation into sectors like energy, defensives and large caps - away from smaller cap names such as those upstream AI supply chain bottlenecks. In terms of near-term events: - SK Hynix Nasdaq ADR (10 July) - June CPI (14 July) - $TSM earnings (16 July) So to summarise: I'm viewing the current macro picture as a 3 layered cake: 1. Geopolitical shock with US/Iran 2. AI positioning unwinds/deleveraging 3. Hawkish Fed rates environment And in terms of key data points to watch for: 1. VIX spiking above ~22 = more market turbulence 2. High-yield spreads through 3.25% 3. Brent beyond $90 All would mean something worse is going on rather than just a sector rotation that we're in now. Which I view as short term since AI fundamentals will superceed any short term noice. Until then, (NFA) hedges are cheap e.g. energy, defensives which are working right now. DIRECTED ENERGY WEAPONS (DEWs) While typical civilian access to... DEW technology is hyper limited, AI gives more insight into the reality of Directed Energy Weapons as used in combat. However, this is not a very comprehensive snapshot of what DEW munitions really are. First, they are not lasers, but rather known as sasers (sound outside of human audible range) that delivers more than just excited photons as per lasers, but envelopes microwave radiation delivered through linear particle accelerators and amplified by square-wave (jackhammer) ultrasonic concussion exceeding 20,000 pulses per second, where each impact doubles in energy through secondary emissions for every pulse. Secondary emissions are created on-the-spot through Neutrino Events that harvests brand-new energy directly out of atmospheric neutrinos, turning them into new ions. Hence why saser beams deliver more energy to the target than anything short of a nuclear blast. DEWs also actively draw energy out of surrounding capacitors at the scene of the target as well as from local sources in the path of the beam. Microwaves excite the electrons within the target structure, such as car batteries and the electric wires inside homes, that causes additional increase in amplitude. Since the energy being siphoned off is focused in the zero point of the beam, that area creates dual opposing twin vortices at zero target forming a hyperbola in the center of the affected area where the energy collapses in on itself, sucking oxygen out of the air which then amplifies the thermal radiation only within that toroidal vortex area, achieving crucible-level temperatures in an open-air setting. This is hyper-accelerated by the coupling of the SBX-1 mobile Vortex generator that delivers oxygen to the strike zone with hyper-focused accuracy at up to 70+ MPH winds. Which is why target zones see hurricane winds out of nowhere and from clear skies without any clouds. DEWs generate temperatures that are vastly higher than normal house or forest fires; 1200F and 1500F respectively. A self-imploding DEW saser strike can generate thermal signatures high enough to burn terracotta roofing tiles (2100F), melt glass (2900F), and vaporize stucco walls that are rated to hold up for 1 HOUR under direct torch flame, rendering it to tiny traces of powder. Even the concrete slab foundations of homes in the Santa Rosa fire of 2017 had been incinerated and literally gone as if evaporated into the air. Since the air surrounding the strike zone becomes immediately depleted, fire will not be readily sustained anywhere outside of the hyperbola area (just the home or automobile), leaving brush, trees, plastic, within just a few feet away barely seared and, in many cases, totally unscathed altogether. Houses that incinerate all the way down to ash within minutes will leave no soot, or flame marks on white-painted homes as little as ten feet away as if there was no heat or fire present of any kind. It is important to note that a normal house fire takes 3-4 hours to burn down, leaving large portions of the home and contents behind unconsumed. DEW crucible vortex fires consumed homes down to nothing but white ash in Santa Rosa, incinerated within 20 minutes that I observed after pounding on doors in one residential neighborhood of 2 story homes at 2:30 in the morning screaming to get out, then returning to that same location less than a half hour later, with nothing left but smoldering ash. There is nothing ‘normal’ about DEW remains. Kitchen stoves, pots and pans, washers, dryers, water heaters simply vanished. The cast-iron engines in cars just gone with their aluminum alloy wheels and windows melted on the street. Since DEW sasers work through the delivery of microwaves (that are radioactive) through encapsulation within tachyons (like protective bubbles), the resulting debris fields of target areas are also left contaminated, similar to the aftermath of nuclear detonation sites. The sites where homes once stood in the Santa Rosa fire for instance, had to have the soil under the vaporized concrete slabs excavated and stored in radiation containment casks before any new construction could resume, as reported by locals there that were involved in the cleanup. The Lahaina target homes in Maui are still blocked off with absolutely no entrance for any reason for this same reason almost a year and a half later. DEWs have been seen pulling massive arcs from lightning strikes, obviously generated by the extreme excitation of atmospheric particles of the beam, as well as from overhead electrical wires that supercharge the phonon shafts that are invisible to the naked eye unless backlit from flame or sparks. This technology has been shown to cut full size military ships in half from high altitude delivery systems in seconds, rendering all previous forms of explosive armaments, including nuclear warheads, obsolete. All the military weapons delivered from the US and other countries to Ukraine in recent years were outdated and considered unusable in a genuine modern conflict and were therefore literally being disposed of to make room for other, newer forms of weaponry in armories here at home. In other words, they were merely junk. US dark and black ops have had functioning DEW assault systems in place for many decades already. While AI admits to Turkey using them in combat in 2019, the real date of deployment of DEWs goes back more than just centuries, but prior to humans' arrival to earth in 560m BC. An even more recent DEW ‘Tara Cleansing’ as they’re called, was the Great San Francisco Fire of 1906 that was blamed on a 7.9 earthquake. And yes, the HAARP SBX-1 hurricane generator is also an earthquake generator as well. None of this is new tech, just new to you. Satellite and antigravity drone delivery of such weapons are entirely remotely-controlled, placing no mil soldiers' lives on the line to mount a siege, making military battlefield loss of life virtually a thing of the past at this time.
