🚨 Bug Report: Layerswap accidentally turned $ETH into a... stablecoin. ✨ Turns out in an alternate reality 1 $DAI = 1 $ETH. 🤡 Courtesy of a very creative bug from a dev who is…no longer with us. One user discovered the glitch and farmed it like a side quest boss. We reached out asking for a return of funds (with a 10% bounty) and, luckily, got them back. Kudos to SEAL 911 guys for contributing greatly to the investigation efforts. $ETH as a stablecoin was fun while it lasted. Back to reality now. To all lucky adventurers: Try swapping on Layerswap, you might end up with a huge profit 😉 If you still think we’re joking, check the txns:show more

"I had 1000 ETH and...i switched it into bitcoin... a couple months back...that was probably bad timing" "That was terrible timing" "I know. F**K!" Watch the clip. This is why ETH isn’t $10k There are a lot of smart but not fully plugged in retail crypto investors like Steven Bartlett who got shaken out of ETH this cycle. The ETH capitulation dip to $1500s in April after 3 years of ETH underperformance relative to BTC and meme assets was hard on ETH holders. Probably the hardest conviction test they've faced. It was hard. They sold. They haven't bought back. ETH hit all-time-highs above $4,940 last month on the institutional bid, not retail. It was ETF flows and treasury companies. We're below $10k because crypto retail is still offsides on ETH. Former holders still licking their wounds. Those who entered crypto in 2021/2022 still think they can barbell their crypto portfolio and skip ETH. It'll take big moves to convince them otherwise, convince them that ETH isn't dead. So what happens next? I think the retail bid comes back above $5k, goes crazy above $7k, frantic at $10k, and absolutely psycho at $15k. We’re below $10k because retail is sleeping on ETH.show more

We came to Mumbai with a suitcase full of... dreams and a heart full of madness. No roadmap, no guarantees.. Just this wild, stubborn belief that one day we will also get a chance to tell the kind of stories we grew up watching. Stories meant for the big screen. And somehow, between shared rickshaws, cramped auditions, and nights where all we had was each other’s faith we found our voice. One that was loud, messy, loving, and full of fight. Today, that voice becomes a reality. Tomorrow, it becomes a glimpse. Saleem Siblings isn’t just a company. It’s the name of every silly childhood game, every heartbreak we turned into a scene, every dinner table fight that ended in a script. It’s our love letter to cinema, to where we come from, and where we still hope to go. We’re nervous. We’re excited. We’re ridiculously emotional. And we know we can’t do this without you - the ones who’ve believed in us, rooted for us, laughed with us, fought with us, and more than anything… watched us grow. The first look of something veryyyy special drops tomorrow. Somewhere out there — on a very, very big screen. If you know, you know 😉 For more … tune in tomorrow #SaleemSiblings #OurFirstStep #SeeYouTomorrowshow more

we got back-to-back double teamed while just trying to... do a quest. No one talked and it was an awful experience. The next game we saw a team fighting the queen, we joined in to help, and we ended up having the best time ever with a ton of loot. ARC Raiders really shines when people are friendly. I still don't understand how the devs decided PvE wasn’t fun and removed it completely. Maybe part of the fun comes from knowing someone could betray you or jump you at any moment, but for me the most fun moments are when I find players to team up with and actually do things together.show more

As our Royal Ascot journey comes to an end,... a huge thank you to everyone who helped get Joliestar there. It’s been a massive team effort with months of planning, and we’re incredibly grateful to all those who played a part. Thank you to Sir Brendan and Lady Jo of Cambridge Stud for allowing us to bring her to the UK, Nick Smith and the Ascot team for their wonderful hospitality, Charlie Hills for welcoming us into his stable, and James McDonald for his support throughout the journey. And finally, thank you to Joliestar. We dared to dream, gave it everything, and while it wasn’t to be, we couldn’t be prouder of her. She represented us all with distinction on one of racing’s biggest stages.show more

Looks like the Solana jeeters are moving over to... Robinhood. What the hell happened with $FLYBRAIN? From 0 to $60M, then all the way back down to $10M. Still, it paid me over 40 $ETH in just a couple of hours, which is a pretty good reward considering I expected much less. I'm enjoying the hell out of life :)show more

President Donald Trump says he rates the U.S. performance... in the war with Iran a “15” out of 10. “Somebody said, ‘On a scale of 10, where would you rate it? I said about a 15.” “If we didn’t do it first, they would have done it to Israel and give us a shot, if that was possible.” “We’re in a very strong position now… Everybody that seems to want to be a leader ends up dead.” He added the war may cause a “little interlude” in falling prices and market gains.show more

Korea's biggest bank just ran a won stablecoin end-to-end... KB Financial Group, parent of KB Kookmin, completed a proof of concept covering the full lifecycle of a won-denominated stablecoin, from issuance through offline payments, merchant settlement, and overseas remittance. The retail test ran at a Hollys coffee kiosk, keeping the normal checkout while moving back-end settlement to blockchain. A cross-border leg converted the won stablecoin to a dollar stablecoin via Kaia's on-chain liquidity, then paid out to a Vietnamese bank account in three minutes, down from days, cutting fees roughly 87% versus traditional rails. KB Kookmin is South Korea's largest bank, with about $266 billion in assets. It wants to launch the moment Korea's digital asset law lands.show more

Litecoin's privacy layer is a separate block space you... choose to enter MWEB takes two ideas first floated for Bitcoin, MimbleWimble privacy and extension blocks, and runs them together. Litecoin activated it as a soft fork in May 2022. Using it is up to you. Peg LTC in visibly, move it inside with amounts hidden from everyone but the people involved, and peg out when you want it back on the open chain. Over 500,000 litecoin:native has made that trip and stayed, and the math still proves nobody minted coins out of thin air while the numbers were hidden. It has taken a hit and held. A March validation bug let someone inflate a peg-out, the coins came back and were re-pegged, and Litecoin Core 0.21.5.4 shut the door.show more

I was gifted credits to try MiniMax Design even... though I usually do not like agentic workflows like this (I let them know and they were still cool with it). So, I tried their POV skill along with mine and I'm happy with the result. It needs a bit of a clean up but for a one shot not bad at all. I think I will continue testing it out, very very promising✨show more

IT’S OUT! Head over to the Gorillaz YouTube channel... now (link in bio) to watch the full film. This film is a true love letter to the golden era of 2D animation. We worked incredibly hard alongside Jamie Hewlett to make it as period-accurate as possible and, like all our projects, it was hand-drawn by an incredible team of artists. We even used a variety of practical effects in the film, which was a lot of fun to do. We had a brilliant time making this film and learnt a huge amount while studying the masters of the 60s and 70s. If you’ve been following the release of The Mountain, you know how special and meaningful this project is. We’re so proud to be a part of it and want to say a massive thank you to Jamie and Eleven Management for trusting us to tell this beautiful story. We couldn’t be prouder of the work we did together, and we're so happy to be sharing it with the world! #Gorillaz #THELINE #TheMountainshow more
