just published a figma plugin for the cmyk halftone... editor! originally made this as a separate website for a figma hackathon and it felt weird not having it as a plugin there too, so here it is link in the comments↴show more

In my portfolio, I wanted to show in an... interesting way that I can make laconic and diverse logos in addition to web design. So I drew a simple device in Figma and animated it in After Effects. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a place on the site, so I'll leave this piece here😉✨show more

Introducing Spring—my first ever Figma plugin! 🤩 After animating... a lot recently, I found myself clicking around too much 👀 Spring lets you quickly add triggers and preset curves between frames (P.S - design is a work in progress, i just wanted to get the code working 😅)show more

I’ve worked on flows that use external services, which... meant I needed real UI screens of those services in the flows. Most resources were outdated or poorly made, so I had to recreate them myself. That led to creating Product UIs. It's Free on Figma Community. Link in thread. 👇show more

made this with text to lottie and claude code... my workflow: design something in figma or just make a rough draft. then ask claude to animate it you'd be surprised how easy it is to add easings, masks, transforms, text effects and all the motion details you can also ask claude to export it as a gif, mp4, png sequence, resize it in different aspect ratios claude and codex already creates something with taste and if you know what you want to create, this workflow is really useful and btw, it's freeshow more

This would have taken me forever without Claude AI... I constantly get impressed by how far I can take concepts I had in my head to a functional component in a couple of hours. Normally, I'd spend just that amount of time designing in Figma. Now, I completely skip Figma and go straight to code. Designing in code is back and I love every minute of it.show more

Made a lil illustration in Figma draw with dynamic... stroke and texture effects and text on a path. I dared to paste the SVG code into CodePen.IO ... this is what happened... Spoiler alert... It worked! ˗ˏˋ rogie ˎˊ˗ Lauren Budorick 𝕞𝕒𝕩𝕧𝕠𝕝𝕥𝕒𝕣 you super amazing brilliant beautiful people! This is delight!show more

Practical example of Brian's wisdom: I needed a new... OG image for Graphical's Changelog I pushed this morning. Instead of drawing it in figma, I made a little tool in our app that I (and my agents, automatically) can now use to make branded images for any URL.show more

I chose Jitter for this recent videos and here’s... how it went: 1st Video: Built from scratch in 40 mins (already had the design ready) 2nd Video: Recreated in just 10 mins using a Jitter template So here's my review of both tools: Jitter: ✅ Super smooth and Easy experience ✅ Awesome template marketplace ❌ Poor layer organization for animation Lottielab: (used earlier too — the 3rd video is made with it) ✅ Smart, practical layer management ❌No solid IN/OUT presets & quite unstable ❌Pasted my Figma frame and it turned everything (even text!) into vectors Bottom line: Use Jitter if you want a quick animated video and use Lottielab if you are not clumsy and want something big, but not that big that you have to open After effects Bonus gripe: Both tools still don’t support 3D rotateshow more
