Most people give Karpathos 2 days on the way... to Rhodes. This Karpathos 7-day itinerary is why that's a mistake. But tbh, if you have 10-15 days to spend on this Dodecanese island, that would be the best decision you ever made. 🩵 Day 1: Apella's RSVP! Spend the day in Pyles, Mesochori or Othos villages. Day 2: Pigadia harbour walk, Aperi and Menetes, the villages with the view. Day 3: Ahatta's turquoise, Arkasa's sunset. Day 4: Kato Lefkos (swim and lunch), and no reason to rush! Day 5: North through Kyra Panagia, next to Spoa. Day 6-7: Olympos, and a boat to Saria. Been to Karpathos before? What's your suggestions? Send it to someone who's picking the underrated and off-the-beaten-path lane of traveling! 👉🏻 voyagetimes (TikTok) #karpathos #discovergreeceshow more

My favorite AI workflow lately is my thought-to-post pipeline.... I just go on walks, have a good content idea, ramble it, and have an optimized post in my writing style without typing. It's super simple: 1. Download an AI-powered voice dictation app to your phone (I use Wispr Flow) 2. Go on long walks and let ideas flow - when you get a good one, open Wispr Flow and ramble your thoughts (doesn't need to be perfect) 3. Notes auto-save. These become the core ideas for posts later 4. Open Claude and create a new Project called "Post generator" 5. Use this prompt: "I’m going to provide you with my own written material, and your task will be to understand and mimic its style. You'll start this exercise by saying "BEGIN.” After, I'll present an example text, to which you'll respond, "CONTINUE". The process will continue similarly with another piece of writing and then with further examples. I'll give you unlimited examples. Your response will only be "CONTINUE.” You're only permitted to change your response when I tell you "FINISHED". After this, you'll explore and understand the tone, style, and characteristics of my writing based on the samples I've given. Finally, I'll prompt you to craft a new piece of writing on a specified topic, emulating my distinctive writing style" 6. Now's the fun part: Go to Twitter Analytics and download your top posts (Premium → Analytics → Content → Download button) 7. Paste your best-performing tweets into Claude repeatedly until it says "FINISHED" 8. Take your voice notes, paste them into your trained Claude Project, prompt "make a post in my writing style" 9. Post is ready to go. Polish and edit slightly *if* needed. The AI is trained on how you actually write, not generic content. Your voice notes capture your real, raw thoughts without the friction of typing. I have my best ideas while walking. If I try to write them in my notes app mid-walk, I forget halfway through. Voice dictation captures everything as I ramble. Game changer for turning scattered thoughts into polished posts!show more

As a graphics engine coder I think when you... look at a flickering bug like this one in the video below it’s not immediately obvious what is going on. The key here is observation - to study this flickering/bugged render carefully - what do we see? Firstly for me it was very obvious that nearly all of the scene shadows were flashing on and off - but (but!) there was a secondary issue where some buildings and parts of the sky were also flashing purple. Hmmmm. Interesting. I initially thought then this might be two separate bugs - but because the sky purple element could only based on full screen post fx and not 3D rendering I looked at this first with a few GPU captures to step through all our post processing to find the rendering stage which made these pixels turn purple: When I did this I found the colour 3D texture LUT grading that makes our different biomes have unique colour palettes was going very wrong - colours near 0 or 1 were wrapping and making the purple elements that we see in the said sky and base parts. The only way this could happen was if the texture was corrupt (which it was not) or if the 3D texture sampling was wrapping and not clamped as intended. That was the Eureka moment - because if the post fx had the wrong texture sampler then the disappearing shadows which also require an exact texture sampler for comparing depth might be also wrong because of the same kind of texture sampling issue! So with this idea that the engine was using the wrong texture samplers, but only in very high draw call scenes like the big base here I the looked at some engine limits and found the bug very quickly - a circular dx12 descriptor buffer for samplers running out over multiple frames, reusing the wrong data for new scenes inflight. Hence the flickering, as the GPU randomly got wrong samplers for some post textures or shadow depth. Easy to fix with triple limits for future expansion and also adding an assert/debug spam in case this limit is ever reached again - QA testers would see this message and report if they ever saw a flicker with this style of bug. My bug and my bad from 2017 porting NMS to DX12 without foreseeing how massively complex bases and our game would grow.show more

Around 8:55 am on Boxing Day 26th December 2025,... as I was coming back from my night duty, I saw this car doing like 80-90 miles/hr on a 60 mile/hr road. Temperature was 1 degree Celsius and roads were icy. I was worried because that road has loads of bends and it was crazy to see someone speeding like that on that road. Not up to 3 minutes, this chap approaching a bend suddenly went on his brakes, then lost control as the car started skidding. To our left is a hill, and beyond this hill is a river. This guy climbed that hill with speed. He drove on it for like 5 seconds while trying to re-establish control of the car, then the car came down and he struggled for another 3 seconds and then regained control, he sped off and continued driving. By this time, I had slowed down and was observing what was happening as I was just behind him. The broken parts of his car littered the road but this dude continued driving and speeding. This got me worried, he had a near death experience, every normal person would stop, park and soak in whatever that happened, and most especially, see his car and the damage done. This guy continued speeding like a mad man. I couldn’t call police because I was driving and not allowed to touch my phone, but I was dead worried this dude might be driving a stolen car ( because how do you smash your car in this economy and not park to even see the damage?). The tyre might be damaged and if he continues speeding like that, can have a tyre burst and crash into on coming vehicle. So I made up my mind to follow him. I started flashing lights, he noticed and slowed down, then I went close but he sped off again. I followed him again and continued flashing lights. I was just policing him until he parked and I double crossed him and had a go at him. I sha called the police and passed his details to him. So I’m posting the plate number in case someone stole your car, definitely must be this guy!! Contact police, they have the details and the area the incident took place.show more

This Kling 3.0 UGC workflow is absolutely insane 🤯... It generates hyper-realistic UGC-style ad videos from a single text prompt — talking heads, unboxings, testimonials, tutorials — in one shot. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who need to scale UGC without paying $500 per UGC video. Here's the problem: You're either paying creators who take weeks to deliver, or you're stitching together janky 5-second AI clips that look obviously fake. Kling 3.0 solves it: → Write a prompt with character, scene, and dialogue → Get a 10-15 second UGC video with realistic facial expressions → Native voice control — tone, pacing, emotion per line → Multi-shot scenes in one generation (hook → demo → CTA) → Paste negative rules to kill AI artifacts instantly No creator fees. No stitching clips. No uncanny valley. What you get: → 6 copy-paste prompt templates for every UGC format →Voice & dialogue cheat sheet with tone keywords → Multi-shot ad structure (hook → problem → solution → CTA) → Image-to-video workflow for branded product shots → A "where it fails" section so you don't waste credits → ChatGPT template to convert any rough idea into a Kling prompt I built a full prompting guide for UGC ads on TikTok and Meta. ✅Explanation of Meaning (by parts): 1. “I consciously and... persistently wish to comprehend the history of the Universe” : The author expresses a deliberate and ongoing commitment to understanding the Universe’s historical development, emphasizing an active pursuit of cosmological knowledge through sustained intellectual effort. 2. “and the origin of life” : This pursuit extends to unraveling the beginnings of life, highlighting a focus on fundamental questions about biological emergence, suggesting a deep curiosity about existence’s foundations. 3. “Unwillingness to step out of the comfort of one’s worldview” : The author critiques resistance to challenging personal beliefs, noting that clinging to a familiar worldview hinders intellectual growth and openness to new perspectives on reality. 4. “which may very well be a delusion” : This worldview might be erroneous, implying that unexamined beliefs can be deceptive, potentially misaligning one’s understanding with the true nature of the Universe and life. 5. “is not only cowardice but also a source of misfortune” : Such resistance is deemed cowardly, reflecting a fear of confronting truth, and a cause of misfortune, as it limits personal growth and perpetuates misunderstanding, leading to existential or practical harm. 🗝️Main Idea (refined version): The author advocates a conscious, persistent pursuit of understanding the Universe’s history and life’s origins, condemning the reluctance to challenge one’s worldview as cowardly and a source of misfortune. This call for intellectual openness urges humanity to embrace rigorous inquiry into cosmic and biological truths. Clinging to potentially delusional beliefs stifles growth and distorts reality. The pursuit fosters courage, aligning understanding with truth. It challenges individuals to transcend comfortable assumptions, promoting intellectual humility. By embracing this quest, we mitigate misfortune and enrich existence. Ultimately, it inspires a commitment to truth-seeking, ensuring a life aligned with the Universe’s realities through fearless exploration.show more

Recently did an interview with the lead developer of... Knight's Path on the title's future release and the state of the industry. The Western AAA gaming industry has shifted its focus away from its core audience, favoring products for smaller, less engaged demographics. This shift has led to a noticeable disconnect between large publishers and their traditional fan base. This has, however, created an environment for indies to thrive. They can prioritize authenticity and community, crafting games that resonate with their players and that is exactly the case with Knight's Path. In December of 2023, Knights Path: The Tournament was released to Very Positive reviews on Steam. It is a short medieval RPG featuring challenging combat, an immersive progression system, and a nice little story. It served as an announcement, a combat concept demo, and a teaser for the forthcoming open-world RPG Knight's Path, which is currently in active development. I asked what their plans were regarding the scope of the full release. While you might get the impression that Knight's Path is an arena fighting game, that’s not the case with the full release. "Knight's Path will be a proper open-world, story-driven RPG. Of course, as a small indie team, we’re keeping the scope modest. The open world will be compact but dense, featuring one town, one village, castle ruins, forests, valleys, and other areas to explore." Many gamers would agree it is better to have a limited number of fully fleshed-out areas than to present a gigantic, empty world. This has been a major criticism levied towards recent releases like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and even modern Assassins Creed, which tends to rely on repetitive gameplay loops scattered across an overly large map, which can feel more like busywork than meaningful exploration. I have always believed that quality over quantity is the best way to go. The team has also made this a priority with things such as the story and weapon types. "We plan to include three main weapon types: longsword, sword and shield, and bows. These will feature the full progression system seen in the demo, with skill levels such as Novice, Adept, Expert, and Master. Players will need to learn individual skills from different trainers to progress. In addition, we’re introducing secondary weapons like spears, halberds, and other polearms. These won’t have RPG-style progression but will still offer variety in combat." Regarding the story, they plan to be bold and strive to create a 16-28 hour-long main campaign. "The story will be divided into four chapters, with each chapter offering around 4–7 hours of gameplay. As in the demo, the player character begins as a nobody, slowly learning how to wield a sword and eventually becoming a knight. However, the progression will be much more realistic than in the demo, where the peasant hilariously transformed into a champion in just four days." This is a far cry from many games that are released nowadays. In just 2024 alone at a glance, the AA release Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn provided an average of 8 hours of content, Princess Peach: Showtime at 10 hours, Silent Hill 2 Remake at 15, and even the GOTY winner Astrobot holds an average playtime of 10 hours. A major issue within the industry is the way we are treated by the people who only have jobs because of our favorite hobby. In 2024 the gaming industry is forecasted to generate $208.7 BILLION dollars, up from 5.4% in 2023. Compare that to Hollywood, which is a measly $12.3 billion. The gaming industry employs 727,000 individuals in the United States alone. So, you'd think these people would have a little bit of respect for gamers, though so many who are vocal on social media show nothing but contempt for us. Perhaps this is because of fear if they do not show loyalty to a cause or "fit in" that they may not secure funding or genuinely believe in what they preach, but the team behind Knight's Path isn't worried about that. "We are independent developers, and we plan to stay independent so we can stay true to our vision. Knight's Path is a game made by gamers for gamers. We’re prioritizing fun gameplay above all, and we firmly believe this is exactly what gamers want." I also raised some questions about their big plans moving forward. In the demo, one of the major criticisms I had was with the voice acting. I had guessed it was done via AI, which was confirmed. "You guessed correctly– the voice acting in the demo was done by AI, and it was probably the loudest critique we received, and we totally understand why! Back then, we didn’t have much of a choice, but for the full game, we don’t plan to use any AI voices. Luckily, after the demo release, many voice actors reached out to us, volunteering to lend their voices to the full game. We absolutely plan to answer their call and give them that opportunity." AI can be a useful tool, especially for developers starting out who can't commit a lot of money to voice acting or just want to see a version of the product that's closer to what they envision the full release to be, but going from that to real voice actors will bump the experience to the next level. I myself played the demo in its entirety and really enjoyed my time with it! I thought the game was reminiscent of Gothic 2 and even The Witcher. I was happily surprised when I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches and while some areas have not been fleshed out like the voice acting, I would recommend putting the game on your wishlist to see what this team does in the future when they finally deliver their updated demo and the eventual full release of the game.show more

I went from ZERO($0) to 5 figures in less... than 5 months The year 2024 was a defining year for me and a lot of my friends. This story is one I should have told since but was waiting for the right time It all began in August after losing a cumulative of $20,000. That was literally all I had left with me and was down to less than $300. They say it all begins when you are down to your last 1 million and funny how I didn't even have up to a million Over the course of several days I began asking myself questions as to what I would have done with the money. I could have given my parent their dream house or gotten a car for myself, my mum and started my Agric business. Well, that was how Anxiety started with heavy palpitations and a pulse of 130 Not to bore you, allow me explain step by step as to how I bounced back 1) God - I wont lie to you, God and Prayers are very important in this WEB3. We have very few Normal people on here as this space is toxic enough to destroy you and your mental health 2) Network - See, I know all your idolos are telling you to grind hard which is factually correct but the real profits in this life are from who you know. Check SAYRAAH #WID 📈📉📊 content on networking for more information 2) Excellence - One little lesson I've learned from life is that excellence in itself is not restricted to a particular sphere but its a way of life. I strongly believe the reason all my clients refer me like their lives depend on it is because I handle my job with a unique style of excellence. Starting from my personal page to my clients jobs and even mannerisms 3) Hard work - This aspect has been misused so much. Hard work although very vital must be accompanied with a lot of smart work for you to have results. Scripture shows us that there is a possibility for two people to engage in similar work while they get different result. The one with the smaller result was termed a FOOLISH MAN and the one with better results was called a WISE MAN. The difference is in the knowing, you need to learn how to actually work hard 4) Voice out - Make sure you always voice out when you are not doing as much as you are supposed to. I have a lot of my guys that I tell intricate stuffs about my money-making journey and everyone puts heads together to ensure we all make money I might sound like aspire to perspire but the reality is, bouncing back is difficult but I want you to know that your hard work will eventually pay off I could have just said GOD DID but I know there's someone out there that might need this. Don't stop and don't settle, your future will thank you for it Over the next few days, I would be sharing some opportunities I recently found that I'm sure will print you money. Stay gluedshow more

A new week is here, but what makes it... more fun is the amount of information you hop in on early enough. Here are some projects I’ve got my eyes on; 1) Brevis comes in first with verifiable computing solving issues of re-executing orders on the blockchain. Recently, team introduced the new pico prism; a state of the art zkVM for faster Ethereum proving in seconds. 2) Modular layer chains for better integration of RWAs are also not left out with integra. as the XP gathering has begun. Everything about integra stays under the carpet, but they are making big moves for RWAs on chain. 3) Cysic; the future of computefi has also been quiet lately. After the buzz around the cubes minted, I expected an update from them soonest. 4) Momentum finance has been the buzz all over CT the last few days after announcing the community round on Buidlpad Ⓜ️Ⓜ️T coming soon. A recent title deed nomination wave swept across MomentumⓂ️Ⓜ️T community members to reward those that have been supportive all along. 5) AI development and innovation are also not left out as Michael Heinrich (Ø,G) spearheads the entire 0G Labs (Home of Infinite AI) ecosystem to finality. It’s crazy enough if you think the second round of airdrop was all from the 0G team, they keep shipping new products daily. Only believe in them. 6) On the track to integrating AGIs, Sentient isn’t left out as well, as they’re recently on one of the biggest stages; NeurIPS Conference. The recent update showed that 4 of their papers were accepted across various categories. Screams bullish to be IMO. 7) In all of the TGEs and allocation announcements this year, Everlyn ranks one of the worst. They eventually came up with an option to refund subscription users (Who ever thought that was a good idea?😶). They need to realize that as a web2 company coming into web3, you need to understand the lingual here before engaging. These are basically the major updates on them all, but I’ll definitely add to them as I find more. Stay woke ANON.show more

Didn’t read Matt Bryden’s “Somalia at Risk of Becoming... a Jihadist State”? Here’s the TL;DR — (and what he’s really doing.) Bryden’s latest piece is a two-dozen-page “brief” in his signature style: open with al-Shabaab “at the gates,” narrate Somali history as one straight line to collapse, and close by insisting only external intervention can keep the fallout “manageable.” The themes never change: federalism is broken; the national government is the villain; Islamists lurk everywhere; donors are exhausted and abandoning; Somaliland deserves recognition; and any federal member state arguing with Mogadishu becomes a “responsible actor.” This isn’t new. It’s the latest entry in a 30-year pattern: • 1999 – Building Block Approach: praise Ethiopia, warn against a Somali central government. • 2003 – No Quick Fixes: downplay terrorism; call critics “alarmist.” • 2003 – Banana Test: argue Somaliland already meets recognition standards. • 2013 – Somalia Redux?: dismiss national progress as a “surreal bubble.” • 2021 – Fake Fight: claim the FGS was colluding with al-Shabaab. The new brief simply reheats the formula. What makes this brief even more revealing is Bryden’s fixation on Islam — in a country that is 100% Sunni Muslim and whose political actors remain united in fighting al-Shabaab and ISIS. Of course he knows religion and politics mix everywhere: Kenya’s evangelical blocs, Ethiopia’s Orthodox and Pentecostal actors, Europe’s Christian Democrats, and the decisive role of America’s Bible Belt states. Yet somehow, Muslim politicians in Somalia are “the threat.” This five-year fear cycle of “the barbarians are coming” is his franchise. Meanwhile, Somalia actually cooperates daily with Kenya, Ethiopia, the EU, UK, U.S., UAE, Qatar, and Türkiye on security, intelligence, aid, and counter-terrorism. Contrary to his script, the UK injected £30 million into Somalia’s security transition last month; the EU continues to fund AUSSOM; the U.S. conducts regular FGS requested strikes; and the successive government he pronounces “dead on arrival” lifted the arms embargo, secured multibillion-dollar debt relief, and — inconveniently for his framing — now Somalia sits on the UN Security Council. Meanwhile, Somalia has had six presidents since 2000, repeated peaceful transfers of power, and zero coups — outperforming most of the global South. Elections are messy, yes, and we’re entering that season again, but they remain peaceful and actors accept results. None of this fits his screenplay. Then comes the Hollywood section of his brief, where he weites: “al-Shabaab’s potential capture of Mogadishu need not foreshadow a total jihadist conquest… A Provisional Federal Government could be established in a secure interim capital…” And continues: “The balance of forces… between a Mogadishu-based al-Shabaab and a Provisional Federal Government in Baidoa… al-Shabaab’s access to port revenues would triple its income…” And! “Since the militants would stand to inherit most of the arms, equipment, and vehicles currently in the SNA’s possession, al Shabaab’s military capabilities would rapidly surge.” At this point, anyone still drinking from Bryden’s well should reconsider. And perhaps — being well beyond retirement age — he might sip his Kool-Aid quietly instead of splashing it across respected platforms. Finally Somalia gave Matt Bryden a lucrative 35-year career, and he repaid it with scorn. Still, we genuinely wish him long and health life — long enough to watch, year after year, the results of our hard work. Also, neither Soomaalinimo — our march toward a strong, peaceful state — nor Islaamnimo — our pride in our faith and our Prophet — is going anywhere. So, pal, dhexda dhuuqso (tighten your belt — you’ll need it). As for this attached video: that’s Stadium Mogadishu — and no, it does not look like a city al-Shabaab is about to “capture.” Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.show more

Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is... the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. I think this is a great test.” Bryson shot rounds of 70, 71, 71 and 70 to finish T11 at Valderrama. Does he feel any pressure to perform after missing the cut at the Masters and the PGA Championship? “No. To be honest, missed cuts are gonna happen. I might miss all 4 of them in majors this year. That's just golf. Like, I’m playing great. I just haven't shown up when it mattered most. But I've played well out here on LIV, and I’m working on my golf swing really hard, and, I feel like it's in a really solid place. It's very close to some of my best golf ever. “Last week (in Korea) I had a great opportunity to win for the third time this year and didn't close the door. And that's just more learning, you know, if I had a little bit more knowledge of what to do in the golf swing, to get the ball to go straight in a few scenarios. I could have taken that championship down too. “So, I feel like I'm actually playing the most consistent I've ever played on LIV, which is great. And I think it's attributed to the switch to four rounds. No question.” Bryson says he’s going to head to Shinnecock early to get some extended work in and thinks it will be a huge benefit after not playing the course since the 2018 US Open. If he were to win it, he would join Tiger Woods and Hale Irwin as the only players to win 3 gold medals. It would also put him just 1 championship shy of equalling the all time US Open winners record of 4, held by Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Willie Anderson. So, as he’s a great student of golf history, does he ever think about it? “I'm very blessed to have done what I've done so far. But I'm still trying to pursue as many wins as I can, and, with the time and opportunity, I’d love to have a chance to win some more.” Bryson DeChambeau Crushers GC LIV Golf U.S. Openshow more
