Wisconsin comes out in a 13P Bunch formation, then... shifts to Empty Quads to run the Quick Screen. This is smart because USC's heavy personnel isn't equipped to adjust to a shift like this and only puts 2 defenders over the Quads.show more

London Van vs Cyclist Who’s Right who’s Wrong?

6,000 years ago the Sahara was green. There are... cave paintings of people swimming in the middle of it. Then the rains stopped, and history lost its first chapter. Connect the dots: 🌧 ~3900 BC: the 5.9-kiloyear event. The monsoon collapses, the green Sahara becomes the largest hot desert on Earth, and people pour into the Nile Valley. Egypt is born out of that exodus. Same window as the Solovki geomagnetic excursion (dated 4,500–7,500 years ago in Barents Sea cores). 🗿 The Sphinx: geologist Robert Schoch says the deep vertical grooves in its enclosure were cut by rainfall, and that rain like that ended around 3000 BC. 📜 Giza has hundreds of tombs with 4,500-year-old inscriptions. Not one mentions the Sphinx. It doesn't show up in writing until the 1400s BC, when Prince Thutmose dreams it promises him the throne if he digs it out of the sand. 🔺 The Great Pyramid: the only papyri ever found (the Diary of Merer) are logbooks of boats hauling limestone. Not one line on how ~2.3 million blocks went up. 🧂 Inside, the walls of the Queen's Chamber were covered in a thick, hard crust of salt. Egyptologists: it leached out of the stone. Others: it's a flood line. The desert was only reset #1: 3900 BC: the Sahara dies (5.9k event) 2200 BC: the pyramid age collapses (4.2k event) 1177 BC: the Bronze Age collapse, the 2.8k event + Sterno-Etrussia excursion 536 AD: volcanic winter, Late Antique Little Ice Age 5 resets in 6,000 years. The climate breaks, twice the magnetic field wobbles with it, empires fall and memory is wiped. My view: the Sphinx is older than the desert that buried it. So how old is it, really?show more
