Certifications are like flags; go get them! They showcase... and highlight you among your peers and put you in the spotlight. It’s just a matter of time before people and organizations that matter will come looking for you. But in all your getting, remember to add competency and character. Those 3 Cs : Certification, Competency and Character are the quintessential triad that will take you places in your career. Life is about making Choices and taking Chances so as to see the Changes you desire in your Circumstances. I am grateful to the The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for the invitation to be a fellow of this illustrious college, the oldest surgical corporation in the world (established in 1505!). Thank you for recognizing my achievements (Certifications, Competence, Character) and using this as a yardstick of acceptance. I was humbled to be the only one in this category at the ceremony as I know that your criteria for this is very stringent. My time in Scotland has made me proud of this institution. The strong Oak of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, though rooted in the past, has strong branches into a technological savvy and innovative future. I am grateful to the Almighty, my loving wife Dr Yemisi Adeyeye , my family, friends, teachers, colleagues, clerics, patients and so many others too numerous to mention. They have helped me make the right choices and seize the right chances(&opportunities), in order to make the changes that have propelled me to lofty heights in my career. I need to specifically mention Dr Ali Babata of University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He was the first FRCSEd I ever knew. He taught me surgery in Nigeria and has continued to follow my career with keen interest, giving me his journals and Surgical resources from the college over the years. Thank you sir for sowing those seeds of sacrifice. They are definitely bearing fruit. To stand in the hallowed halls of the college and receive my certificate after numerous mind boggling exams, just like you did many decades ago, is a dream come true. To someone out there, keep getting the necessary certifications. It’s just a matter of time before you too will be celebrated. Some of you know my story. These things are achievable and not far fetched. Let’s keep inspiring each other ✌️show more

I am a son of a mother who studied... dietetics in New York, who taught me that our bodies are a temple to serve Allah by being good to others. My father, a career diplomat and a product of Ahmadu Bello University where he participated in extracurricular activities such as basketball always had time for the family and was my basketball coach since I was a toddler. My dearest Bappa and Mommy, through your quiet sacrifices, you taught me that true leadership is rooted in integrity and that the greatest legacy one can leave is the service of others. I am the the product of your prayers and a reflection of the values you instilled in me from the very beginning. As you celebrate the 49th anniversary of your blessed union, I thank you for being my first teachers and my lifelong inspiration.show more

I was informed that the team will be seeking... a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s one thing that I have learned over the years: there are so many things that are out of your control, but it is how you respond to these things that you will look back on and remember. I have taken so much pride in playing alongside my teammates for the LA community, so thank you for embracing my family and making this such a special place for us. 2024 began with one of the best training camps of my career. Preparations start now for 2025. Highly motivated, as healthy as ever, and looking forward to playing elite football for years to come. Love you guys.. But coming for it all.show more

It wasn’t about the trade but it’s about the... confidence and mind set There are a lot of stories behind this account and it make the best of my trades of the year so far. A lot of nonsense happen this month after a long wait for something it came and you crashed it But as a resilience trader you ask for the last $6k that your client has and his response was Greatmann I believe in you and I am funding it now now … Most client lost trust in you because of loss they will call you names and insult you as if they gave birth to you. But you know o have never gotten a client that so much encourage me like Mr Dan He funded the $6k usd yesterday and as at today I made over $62,212 as profit Yes you hear me right 💪 It’s one of my best trade for a very long time in size it’s small compare to other account I am trading but this became the best because I was so careful that I pick losses in some places despite I know it will profit me but I just don’t want to take chances but all I want to say is any thing is posible in forex and so many of this type of account has been crashed by me but this one survived. So don’t because of this think I am a guru no But I am a resilience trading that will keep funding until I got it right like this 😂 🦁 I am the fxLion Your mind go dey Don’t try this as it is very dangerous Why am I sharing this ? Because I want you all to know that we have dofrent type of people in the world and we have different risk appetite and ways of handling losses Mehn I don over loose in this forex oo but we move Be encouraged that one day God will deliver gold into Your hand like this 😂 Another happy part is that I just hit over $50 billion trading volume with Exness therefore, it qualifies me to receive a gift of luxury watch worth $20,000 thanks Exness as I wait for the watch Make I flex it for December lol Forex no easy oo You can retweet to encourage someone but don’t risk more than your blood lolshow more

#AGTG After much thought, prayer, and countless years of... hard work, I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Temple Football !! First and foremost, I want to thank God for the opportunities and the strength He’s given me. I wouldn’t be here without Him leading me down this path. There has been many times where this seemed impossible, but through my trust in Jesus I have made it to this point. Thank you to my family for the endless support, love, and sacrifices. The countless hours spent driving me, teaching me, and all of the money spent on my dreams. Thank you to all of the people who have been in my corner helping me along this route. Thank you to all the coaches who have worked with me, supported me, believed in me, and pushed me day in and day out to be the best version of myself. Thank you to Tyler Walker KC Keeler and the temple community for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to make my dreams a reality. I can’t wait to win some games together. To my teammates and trainers, thank you for grinding alongside me and helping me grow every day, and to every school that recruited me, I’m grateful for your belief in my potential. Finally thank you to that version of myself all those years ago who dreamed of this moment and motivated me to work for this. I can’t wait to get to work. Caring only comes from a heart that fears you..... Everything will pass and everything will end, but not everything will be forgotten.. I will never forget you standing by my side during these times when I really need you by my side.. My daughter Julia sends her greetings to you and tells you that she is very happy with your gifts to her.. The pictures below are of some fresh vegetables and fish for Julia. Unfortunately, I bought everything in these pictures on the black market. I paid $600 to $700 for some food. The price of all of this did not exceed $50 before the war.. Everything that money buys is not valuable. My daughter's life and safety are better than all the money.. As long as you are by my side, I will not fear anything.. My friends and loved ones.. After careful examination, we confirmed that Julia was suffering from jaundice Therefore, doctors recommend not giving up canned foods and looking for fresh foods for them. Julia is really getting better and better. This improvement is because of your standing by my side, my friends.. I am very grateful to every person who stood by me and supported me in order to bring happiness to the heart of my child, Julia. I would be very grateful if you would support me to buy fruits and more vegetables for her until she fully recovers My friends and loved ones... I apologize for the delay in updating because the area I go to to get an internet signal in order to tweet has become very dangerous and I can no longer go there as usual.. But I'm here and I'm fine and I'm doing everything I can to be with you. I love you from the bottom of my heart, my friendsshow more

Earlier this morning, I took part in the graduation... ceremony of the The University of Law at the Barbican Centre. I enrolled for the program in 2023 and completed in 2025 after taking a hiatus in 2024 during the election campaigns. A pretty challenging endeavour as I combined the multiple phases of my life. The Masters of Law in Professional Legal Practice qualifies me as a Solicitor of England and Wales. I hope this inspires someone out there to pursue any dream that they have deferred. You never know what you can achieve until you start. Thanks to the Lord Almighty, my wife, family and friends for all the support and prayers during this phase of my life. The life of a lifelong learner! On to the next pursuit. 🦁🇬🇭show more

Happy Father's Day, Dad. I miss you so much,... there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I keep thinking each year that it will get easier, but the truth is it doesn't. I want to show you all my accomplishments and how far l've come despite the challenges I've faced. I know you are there in spirit, and that brings me a sense of comfort. I know there are so many qualities within myself that you've given me. I'm so proud of you for the man you were. Every time I run into one of your friends I keep expecting to hear a story that changes my opinion of the angel that you were, but instead I'm even more validated each time of the humble amazing soul you were. You've protected me in life and death and that's something I'II be forever grateful for. Thank you for showing me what true love is by the way you treated my Mom. It's because of you, that I don't settle, you were her Prince Charming and I know one day I'll find mine too. ❤️🙏🏼🇲🇽show more

As long as you don't have your own loaf... of bread, you won't have an opinion. The hungry don't think, they just repeat. Freedom begins with a loaf of bread, not with dignity granted, because dignity is not granted, dignity is taken away. Poverty is not just the deprivation of money, it is the denial of dignity and the slow denial of will. You don't have the right to make Egyptian decisions related to your life when you are under the yoke of hunger. Don't ask the hungry to speak, feed them first, and don't ask for the opinion of the hungry. You must free them from the humiliation of questioning.. The mind doesn't function on an empty stomach, and dignity doesn't exist in a bread queue. Because he who doesn't have his bread doesn't have his voice, and he who doesn't have his voice doesn't own himself, and he who doesn't own himself doesn't own anything. This is true hell: being forced into silence because you can't afford to live.. Dear friends, two days ago I tweeted that I needed to buy two bags of flour... one for me and my family, and one for the 25 cats at the shelter. This is a new update. Unfortunately, no aid has flowed in over the past two days, and the price of flour has risen even more than it was. My friends, I barely received enough support to buy one bag.. I need you to stand by me because the price of a bag of flour has become $600 now. I am in real trouble. In a few days, the price of flour will rise even more and more if they do not allow any aid to enter... If I get these two bags, I can rely on them for my family and the cats for a whole month. I don't want to buy more than that, because a lot of things can happen in a month... I need a serious stand from you to get another bag of flour for me, for the cats, and for my family.. Your prayers and supplications are for us.. The tanks have advanced further today.. They are only a 20-minute walk away from me and things are terrifying.. Please keep us posted with your thoughts... and interact with my tweets... Your interaction helps spread the word. It's free support, and I appreciate it.show more

The past year has seen me have a renaissance,... in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.show more

Sacrificing your free time to pick up a skill with the goal of creating a better life for your families is admirable and should not be overlooked. Gratitude and hope have always sustained me, and they... always will. The votes are in, and I didn’t quite get there. I want to congratulate Gabriel Ng on his election. To my family, thank you for your love, patience, and strength. To have Sarah, Leo, Eva, Mum, and Dad with me means everything. To my staff, thank you for your dedication and integrity. To our volunteers, thank you for every early morning, every conversation, and every moment you gave to this cause. And to the people of Menzies, thank you for the privilege of serving you—it truly has been the honour of my life. The Liberal Party is an institution of democracy, founded on values worth fighting for. It will recover, and I will be there to help. That is why I still believe Australia’s best days are ahead. This past weekend I won Smashkatoon 100, the largest... Melee bracket in Saskatchewan history and a celebration of a wonderful community. I have never wanted to win a tournament so badly in my entire life... now it's over. Smashkatoon was my last large bracket I was planning on entering. Life moves fast and my passion for the game and community can't seem to keep up. I've met some amazing people in my travels, and have had some fantastic times. I still love the game, but my serious competition days have long felt over, Smashkatoon was my one last ride. Shoutouts to Mono, Schmeez, and Egg$ for coming out. That meant the world to me. Thank you to everyone for an amazing 10 years of Smash, 12 year old me couldn't imagine making it this deep into the weeds of it. Thank you to my brother Dunc for getting me into it in the first place and being my guardian at events. Thank you to Paul for driving me to events and smashfests. Thank you Matty and Zach for showing me how cool being good at the game is and teaching me so much. Thank you to the RGF boys for sharing my passion for something I loved. Thank you Matt, Shash, and Chandler for getting me to so many events and for helping create an awesome 2024-2025 of Melee. Thank you TXH Esports for helping with so many of my ambitions. So many people to thank I'd be typing all day. Thanks to all of you for liking my combos and finding my playstyle interesting, that's what it's all been about for me. I know, I know, "Smash retirement, see you in 2 weeks". This community now isn't what I fell in love with, and it's up to me to recognize that and not try to force an unhappy relationship. I've been putting life outside of smash first on my priority list and have never felt better in life. I'm sure I'll putter around here and there and go to locals when I can but my days of serious travel, practice, organization, production and competition are over as things are. Thank you $1 twitter premium for no character limit I will be cancelling today but you did your job good stuff. PEACE!show more

JADE gets emotional reflecting on her North American tour... in a new TikTok: “I’m having so much fun on this tour. I just feel so grateful that I’m getting to do this at this point in my career. The fact that I get to tour [North America] after being in the industry for 15 years, and only now just getting to do my own headline tour, is incredible. It’s been a long time coming. What’s really beautiful about these shows is that when I look into the audience, I recognise so many of the fans here from back in the day, who’ve literally waited for years – like me! – for this moment. It just makes me feel so loved and supported to know people have believed in me enough to stick around for years waiting for this to happen. Anyone that’s bought a ticket, dressed up, made their own costumes… It’s just such a lovely, beautiful thing. I hope they can see when I’m on stage just how much that means to me, and how much I love performing and putting on the best show that I possibly can every single night. I will never ever take it for granted. I’m just so chuffed that I get to do this for a living… be a silly pop girlie, write and create music that brings people – and myself – a lot of joy… Thank you for believing in me. I literally get on the bunk on my bus most nights from the tour and just lie there like, ‘Oh my god! As if this is my life!’ It means a lot. I hope I get to do this for the rest of my life… Full of gratitude and lots of all the lovely emotions. Thank you so much.”show more

After 3 incredible years and 1.6M students later, my... journey at ALX Africa has come to an end. It has been a life-changing experience, during which I made a lot of friends, worked with an incredibly dedicated team, and met so many talented students. A few numbers. We scaled from a few thousand students to 1.6M students on our platform. Students loved it and many of them took more than one course: 4M total! For the famous #ALX_SE Software engineering program, our SE students made an average of 2,000 commits and our checker reviewed 180M of their projects. That’s 2B lines of code… and that was before Claude Code. They actually wrote these themselves (unless Kimba said otherwise :) A big thank you to all my SE team mates, I am so proud of what we have accomplished, and I will really miss you all. Thank you to Fred for the trust he put in me and always supporting my crazy new and disruptive ideas. Thank you to my students. It was an honor to work with you, watch you struggle but relentlessly move forward, no matter what, until you got this job. To those who are still struggling finding this job, keep pushing forward. Don’t let go. You got this. You all have worked so hard and I am so proud of you. You are the greatest thing I've ever been part of and I can't wait to see what impact you will have on the world. It’s your turn to shine now, and hopefully for some of you to give back to the community whenever you are in a position to. I hope you’ll keep sharing the good news with me when you get this internship, this job, or when you launch your company. These messages are everything to me. In any case, I’ll be watching you from afar, and you can count on me to continue answering all your LinkedIn and X messages. Can’t conclude without ALX Africa’s signature: continue to “Do Hard Things”. Remember who you are, where you are coming from, and where you set out to go. I’ll see you there soon. With love. After a lot of consideration of all my options... I am thrilled to announce I am committed to Stetson University!!! Since I was a little girl I’ve always dreamed of playing D1 basketball. It has been a challenging journey filled with many ups and downs. But I never lost sight of that dream.
