Cleaning up underbrush. Installing mesh. Learning which plants are... highly flammable and which aren't. Easy, right? Not even close. But over time, Hugh Council shows us that defensible space and curb appeal aren't mutually exclusive. Progress can be made, and your yard can still look good doing it. Work in progress doesn't mean unfinished. It means moving forward, one task at a time. 📹 Full video: #CAWildfires #DefensibleSpace #WildfirePreparedness #ReadyForWildfireshow more

even so, I trust that any new watcher will... be able to pick up what's going on. The people who made the OVAs shown from time and time again that they have faith in their viewers that they'll be able to understand the world building that culminated to this point. You can start the other shows prior to this, either before or after this OVA and it will still feel like a proper climax leading up to this. The story beats in this show are pretty good in the sense that anyone can understand it, it's not universally profound but it does a good job in highlighting perspectives of every side and have a glimpse at what happened that lead up to it.show more

If you ever feel lost, remember what beomgyu said:... "Just because you feel envious, lonely, or left behind doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. It simply means that you have a genuine desire to live well and stay connected with others. Even if you don't know exactly where you're supposed to go, you can still move forward little by little. And even while wandering, feeling lost, or uncertain, you can still find your way one small step at a time."show more

🚨The Clarity Act just made it out of committee.... THAT IS A WIN, no question. And yes, I believe American-made digital assets like $XRP $HBAR $XLM $ONDO $TEL $ZBCN $ADA $LINK $ALGO and others will benefit over the long term. BUT SLOW DOWN! This does not mean you sell your house and lever yourself to the moon. This is not the finish line. This is the warm-up lap. There is still more work ahead. The Senate still has to debate it, vote on it, and work through the rest of the process. Then it goes to the President’s desk. And even after that, the real regulatory work begins. So yes, enjoy the progress. Raise a glass tonight if you want. But do not bet the farm. The rails are being built. This is a long-term shift. Do not expect straight-up price action from here. There can still be shakeouts. There can still be pullbacks. There can still be downtrends that test your conviction. But if you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, the direction still looks up to me. That is why I keep saying patience matters. Clarity will not reward the most emotional people. It will reward the people who stay focused long enough to let the thesis play out. Do you have the guts to think long term and hold for generational gains? 👇show more

Legit question. Riddle me this: The way it works... in the US, a trademark has to be FIRST successfully registered before the labels can be made because a unique code is given with the trademark which MUST be included on the label or the FDA won't approve it. Her trademark is still pending, which means #meghanmarkle doesn't have the code yet, so how can she be showing printed labels? It means that they are just for show or she's planning on selling non FDA approved goods in the US?!show more

We are hiring FT SW/ML and Mechanical roles at... Human Computer Lab Robots aren't just for laundry and dishes in homes. LeLamp has a unique constraint today: it doesn't move through space or manipulate objects. That limitation pushes us to think deeply about how LeLamp can understand human intent and translate it into trajectories that make it feel alive. This makes us singularly focused on defining a new benchmark for interacting with technology — one that feels joyful and makes us more aware of our relationship to it.show more

There is another strange phenomenon, which I call the... "tippe top" in space. A spinning object will keep flipping its center-of-mass from left to right, or up and down, at periodic intervals like for a pendulum clock, even when there is no sideways or downward force of gravity. Furthermore, its sense of spin remains constant (say clockwise or anti-clockwise) even after its mass flips by 180 degrees! So we may deduce that "spin angular momentum" is conserved, not in the rotating mass of the object, but in the space which surrounds it. If we look closely at slow-motion video 3, we can see how that T-shaped object flips from one orientation (or location) to another by "precession", just like for Eric Laithwaite's gyroscopes of the 1970's. Previously I suggested that spin-precession cancels the curvature of space through time locally, so that it feels no "downward force of gravity". Out in space, there is no net "downward force of gravity" (nothing to cancel), yet still the spin-precessing object flips back and forth at regular intervals! So what causes that spin-precessing object, out in space, away from any downward gravity, to FLIP? It must be "pushing against the vacuum". First it pushes one way, and then it pushes the other way, over and over again. This is very interesting, because it we could make it flip one way, but not the other way, over and over again, we would have "UFO propulsion". RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYESshow more
