decisiveness

Recurring theme of our play we're excelling in winning... 1st contact but also 2nd balls from goal kicks then managing to retain ball with technical security but also creating separation physically & decisiveness for direct route to goal. 14 sec box to box.show more

I can’t undersell how huge it would be for... the #Bears if Austin Booker had a breakout year in 2026. He had 4.5 sacks in 10 games last year. You saw that red-hot motor paired with more decisiveness with his hands. Could be the X-factor this defense needs.show more

Biggest takeaways from what I could see on the... sideline: ▪️Tommy Carr looks like he'll have a bright future in Ann Arbor. Love his decisiveness. ▪️Savion Hiter is jacked. Dude is 100% built to be a massive contributor this fall. Other than that, it's a spring game. Not reading too much into anything else one way or the other. #GoBlueshow more

Throwback to the day Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was returning... to Kaduna from Abuja and encountered kidnappers who had blocked the road and were carrying out their operations. Despite the obvious danger, his security details reportedly advised him to turn back because the situation was unsafe. But that is Mallam for you, he refused to abandon innocent Nigerians to their fate. He insisted that the kidnappers be confronted. That decision reportedly disrupted the attack and saved hundreds of travellers from a potential kidnapping. Whatever anyone thinks about Mallam Nasir El-Rufai politically, one thing has always stood out, his courage is exceptional. He is not the kind of leader who sits comfortably behind a desk and gives instructions from a safe distance. When duty calls, Mallam is willing to confront danger head on. Mallam embodies a rare combination of intelligence, courage and decisiveness. That is Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.show more

Cool moment: Aaron Rodgers asks Payton Wilson if picking... him off in practice on the SAME PLAY Wilson intercepted in the game helped him make that game-changing turnover. You can tell Rodgers teammates love him.show more

What a weird man

This is Marcus, and his accidental service dog, Gunner.... Marcus served 3 deployments to Afghanistan. For years, he’s woken up at 3am, drenched in sweat, convinced he’s in back in Kandahar. Gunner came to the family when his owner passed away, which was a neighbor of Marcus. On the first night they had him, Marcus had a nightmare, and Gunner immediately jumped on his chest, and laid on him. For the first time in years, Marcus didn’t thrash, and was able to just breath, despite almost 80lbs of weight on him. Gunner laid on him for 2hrs+ that night. Marcus’s wife had urged him to get help for years. She was able to catch it on recording, to show to his counselor. The counselor told them what Gunner was doing was called “Pressure Therapy”…which is what PTSD service dogs are trained to do. Gunner never had training. He just had instincts, and an instant bond. The term, “Man’s best friend” doesn’t cut it sometimes.show more
