🚨🎙️Declan Rice Reveals Tuchel's Masterplan to Stop Messi: "The... manager has been preparing us for this game for a long time because you don't get many chances to face a player like Lionel Messi. Thomas Tuchel keeps telling us that you don't stop Messi by diving into tackles or trying to be a hero on your own. You stop him as a team. Every player has a responsibility—stay compact, cut off the passing lanes, don't let him receive the ball facing goal, and make every decision as difficult as possible for him." "We know he can beat two or three players with one movement, so concentration has to be perfect for 90 minutes or more. If he gets space, he'll punish you. That's why discipline is everything." "And look, this is a World Cup semi-final. Our defenders know they'll have to be clever. If that means using a bit of the dark arts every now and then—breaking up the rhythm, making things uncomfortable, taking a tactical foul when it's needed—as long as it's within the laws of the game, that's part of football at this level. You don't give the greatest player of all time an easy afternoon."show more

Declan Rice on England’s approach to facing Argentina and... Lionel Messi in a potential World Cup semi-final. 🗣️ “Let’s stop pretending everything Argentina do goes through Lionel Messi. If you let him dictate the game, you’ve already made your first mistake. Our job is to make sure he doesn’t get a second to breathe.” “People can talk about Argentina’s squad all they want, but when Messi isn’t controlling the match, they’re a completely different team. He’s the engine, the creator and the player everyone looks for when the pressure is at its highest.” “We aren’t walking onto that pitch to admire him or watch another highlight reel. We’ll be in his face from the first whistle. Every touch will be contested, every pass will be pressured and every yard will have to be earned.” “This is a World Cup semi-final, not a tribute to Lionel Messi. If he thinks he’s going to stroll around and control the game, he’s in for a shock. We’ll make it as uncomfortable as possible because that’s what winning demands.” “Respect is one thing, fear is another. We respect Messi because he’s one of the greatest to ever play the game. But once that whistle goes, reputation means nothing. We’re there to beat Argentina, and if we stop their biggest threat, we’ve given ourselves every chance of reaching the World Cup final.”show more

Jude Bellingham In a recent interview, Andy said that... he doesn't dislike Messi as a person, but he dislikes the way some people treat and praise him as if he were a god. Interviewer🔊: "During the recent FIFA World Cup, you and Messi nearly confronted each other on the pitch. What happened?" Jude Bellingham 🗣️: "Messi acts like he owns football and believes he's above everyone else. As far as I'm concerned, he's a cheater. During that match, one of the Argentina players clearly fouled one of our teammates, but instead of leaving the decision to the referee, Messi started acting like the official himself. That's when I stood up to him and said, 'No one is king here, and no one is above the rules except the referee.' I wasn't going to let anyone intimidate us or control the game. Football should always be decided fairly, not by reputation or influence. Thank God Argentina didn't win the World Cup. If they had, it would have been one of the most heartbreaking moments of my life this year."show more

🚨Cesc Fàbregas on Messi vs Mbappé for the Golden... Boot: "Leo deserves everything if he leads Argentina to back-to-back World Cups. 🗣️ Cesc Fàbregas For me, Lionel Messi should be winning the Golden Boot. When at the goals, you have to look at the influence he has had on every match. His goals, assists, creativity and the way he controls important moments for Argentina have been incredible. Mbappé has also been outstanding. He is a phenomenal player and his numbers speak for themselves, but Messi's impact goes beyond statistics. You can see how the whole team responds when he takes responsibility. If Messi can lead Argentina to two consecutive World Cup trophies, then honestly he deserves every individual award available. It’s come to our attention that another community host... has decided to ban players for competing in 6ix Arena. We want to make our position clear: we will never punish players for where they choose to play. Competition makes everyone better — players, leagues, and the community as a whole. Every player is free to compete in 6ix Arena and anywhere else, at the same time, with no conditions. That will never change. To any player affected by this decision: our doors are open. You’ll always have a home here. We wish EVERY league and EVERY player success. The community is big enough for all of us as it has been for the last 10 years. -Dangershow more

Don’t be like this player. So many players still... don’t use boost efficiently, even though boost management is the most important skill in the game. A good guideline is to save boost for when you’re making a play on the ball and use your movement to get to the ball. Here is a player who uses all of his boost to chase the ball, and when he ends up low on boost, he keeps chasing anyway. This leads to him bumping his teammate and giving up an easy goal.show more

This is an example of a justified punch. As... you can see the guy is merely holding his arms out the entire time trying to get the guy to hold back/deescalate the situation, the black guy swats his hand (this counts as a physical attack) the guy doesn't back down so he punches. The law literally doesn't care about whether you are justified or not though, so don't throw sucker punches, be ready to counter/defend against them, once someone physically lays their hands on you THEN you unload. As long as you fear for your life after all. NOTE: I've noticed this a lot, but a lot of people from "the hood" have a habit of saying shit like "don't touch me" when you aren't even touching them just trying to use motions and body language/defensive posture and then they make physical contact with you and throw the first punch or make physical contact: NEWSFLASH—saying "don't touch me" while touching someone doesn't make you the good guy lmao, same thing with the Alex Pretti case, the dimpshit put his hands on an officer, then proceeded to resist arrest while yelling "no don't touch me" like a retard, him getting shot was entirely legally justifiable (especially considering his gun discharged and instead of having his hands up or laying down/still he tries to get up and is reaching at his pants) I'm not trying to be tough (lmao) nor am I saying you have to fight fair (I don't) but you 100% need to know the law if you're going to have your ass covered. You have so many political commitments. You have to run the cricket board. You have to see what's going on inside. You have to stop at one place and invest time. 🚨Interviewer: “Which player would have made you fear Barcelona... before a match? And is this PSG the best team you’ve ever managed?” 🗣️ Luis Enrique: “Barcelona are a strong team, and I know them very well because I coached them before. But if there was one player who could make me fear facing them until the final whistle, it would be Cristiano Ronaldo. During my time at Barcelona, he caused us a lot of problems while playing for Real Madrid. He is an incredible player, a fierce competitor, and someone I have enormous respect for. As for PSG, I don’t know if they are the best team I’ve ever managed because I had the privilege of coaching the Barcelona team featuring Lionel Messi, the best player of all time. That team was extraordinary. We had Xavi, Iniesta, Neymar, Suárez and Messi, who was at the heart of everything we did. The chemistry, quality and dominance were on another level. PSG are an incredible team, and I’m proud of what we’re building here. But when you’ve coached Messi at his absolute peak, you understand how special that experience is. Cristiano Ronaldo was the opponent who gave me the biggest headaches, but Lionel Messi was the player who made my Barcelona team truly unforgettable.”show more

Hills I will die on as someone who has... coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. The legacy you leave as a coach will never be determined by your wins and losses, but by the lives you were able to change for the better!show more

ANATOMY OF A DELAY PICK @ 3B 1) Momentum... game changer. 2) Low risk especially with a LHH if you practice it. 3) Based on base runner relaxing & taking his eyes off the catcher assuming he is going to throw the ball back to the pitcher when he sees him going to his knees. 4) Throw must be directed up & into fair territory so as not to hit the runner or have the 3B screened out by the runner. 5) Third baseman positions closer to 3B so can casually move to 3B to receive the throw so you don’t alert the 3B coach. IMO THIS IS TRULY A LOW RISK PLAY. IF YOU ARE A SAFETY 1ST LOW/NO RISK PLAYER OR COACH, THIS IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU.
