🚨 Texas Trial Begins Today: The Tragic Killing of... Austin Metcalf Today marks the start of jury selection in the trial of Karmelo Anthony, charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 17-year-old high school football star Austin Metcalf. Austin was a promising young athlete whose life was cut short at a track meet in Frisco last April. He died in his twin brother’s arms after a senseless dispute over seating at a team tent. A bright future stolen far too soon. Our thoughts remain with the Metcalf family as they seek justice. Karmelo Anthony, who allegedly pulled a knife from his bag and stabbed Austin in the chest following the argument, has claimed self-defense. His family has raised over $600,000 in donations — with some statements tying the case to broader narratives about “white supremacy.” Meanwhile, they reportedly moved into a $900K gated mansion. This case should be about accountability, not fundraising or racial politics. Bringing a knife to a school event and escalating a seating dispute to lethal force raises serious questions about responsibility. Austin Metcalf deserved better — he was simply asking someone to leave his team’s area. Praying for truth and justice in the courtroom this week. A young man lost his life over something so trivial. May his memory be honored through a fair process. Do you anticipate justice being served in this case? If convicted, what legal consequence should Anthony receive? Metcalf was a lean high school track athlete (6ft, ~200lbs) stabbed in the chest after asking an interloper to leave the team tent. Jury convicted in ~3 hours. This is why she lost her Senate primary. Voters want facts over inflammatory takes. Does Crockett realize her behavior doesn’t help anyone, including herself? (Video: AI)show more
