We analysed real SIP data from October 2017 to November 2025 — eight years, three equity funds, ₹10,000 SIP each month. The clip underscores a rising issue, with chargeback abuse costing U.S. retailers $100 billion a year, according to a 2023 LexisNexis report. Illegal sewage outfalls are a major issue on the... River Roding, as they are around much of the country. The EA has not brought any prosecutions for illegal sewage discharges on the Roding this century. In 2022, I discovered an illegal sewage outfall on the Aldersbrook discharging raw shit into the river. I reported it to the EA, who did absolutely nothing. I then had to campaign in my spare time for 3 years to get the outfall fixed, attending meetings with the council & Thames Water & dealing with journalists. Eventually, the campaign worked & Thames Water spent £1 million fixing the outfall. Subsequently, I realised that the EA had no idea where all the illegal sewage outfalls on the river were, or which were most harmful. I therefore went out on the river myself with a bucket, in a pair of waders to find & analyse all the illegal outfalls on the river. I found dozens of them, spilling over a billion litres of raw sewage illegally into the river every year. I have given the exact locations of all the illegal outfalls to the EA & they’ve done sweet FA. Raw sewage continues to pour into the river illegally & unchecked every minute of every day of the year, & parts of the river are now ecologically dead, as well as having e-coli levels more than 250 times the safe limit.show more

Austin Wells is historically bad. His 37 wRC+ on... the year is dead last in all of baseball. [Min 190 PA] That 37 wRC+ is actually the fifth-worst since 2022, when the National League did away with the DH. Being better than 2024 Tim Anderson, with his 28 wRC+, is about the only thing Wells can flex this season. One of my takes earlier in the year was that the Yankees should keep Wells in the fold, mainly for his defense. Making sweeping changes mid-season could hurt the pitching staff, and that was one of the strengths. Wells is SO bad that this notion no longer matters. He needs to go because quite literally any warm body is an upgrade at this point. Wells is being outplayed by Max Schuemann, who was cut by the Athletics last year. The Astros won a World Series with Martin Maldonado in there, but even he wasn't this awful. If you doubled Wells' wRC+ this year, it only slightly eclipses Maldanado's from 2022. He had a 71 wRC+. This is where the Yankees are at with Wells. The fact is, this has gone on long enough.show more

He joined a new team. Strained not one, but BOTH of him hamstrings. Didn’t have a full Spring Training. Then recovered, got the flu, and reportedly lost 10+ lbs. Recovered again, dominant AAA, and finished the year off strong in the majors. 2024 was hard for him, and despite the many struggles above, he proceeded to ball out. That’s a wild season. I’d love to land Alex Bregman, but Vaughn Grissom is a guy who should be penciled in at 2B for this club on Opening Day. People see -0.2 fWAR and a .190 AVG and scream “bust.” I see a 24 y/o kid with a chip on his shoulder and loads of potential ready to bounce back in the biggest way next year.
