This has got to be one of the BEST... stories in sports card history, and it happened to me this morning. Warning: this story involved a $35,800 transaction, a German wedding, and Lamine Yamal This morning, I woke up and saw a Lamine Yamal /10 Base Prizms Gold NFT for sale on the #PaniniBlockchain for $35,800. I felt that the price was fair and I purchased at 5am. Seconds later, I get a dm from the anonymous seller on Instagram. “Hey this is Brian”. A German guy, few followers. What I learned next is nothing short of f*cking legendary. I’ll let him tell the story from here, and I’ll accompany the epic tale with photo and video proof. Sit down, and buckle up. “Two days before my wedding, the four of us—my best man, my wife, my cousin, and I—went out and bought a few Panini packs together. Just for fun, we agreed that each of us would keep one pack sealed and save it for the wedding day. The plan was to open them together after the ceremony and see what we got. What made it even more special was that my best man had never opened a trading card pack in his life. It was also my wife's first real experience with the hobby. My cousin and I had opened cards before, but none of us expected anything crazy. Our friend from Prime Collectors was there as well. Since he creates card content, he had his camera rolling the entire time, so every reaction you see in the video is completely genuine. After the ceremony, we all sat down and started opening our packs. My best man went first—nothing special. Then my wife opened hers—a few nice cards, but nothing huge. Thirty years ago, at 13, I became the youngest... national champion in U.S. gymnastics history at the 1995 National Championships. For nearly two decades after my career, I stood on the outside of USA Gymnastics—unwelcome. This past weekend in New Orleans, on the 30th anniversary of that milestone, I was invited to present the all-around awards and honored with a tribute video. Tyler Spry: There’s a video that’s gone around on the Internet when I was writing with V, James Essien and Sean Foreman. That video is not the making of any of the songs that made the album, but it was one of the most fun days I had in the studio with the guys. We were just jumping up and down, singing the songs. I was miraculously saved sometime in March 1997. That... night, I was going home with my guardian from our shop in Ebute meta area. So we rushed to join a bus that looks like the driver has been working on. The engine was really hot and the driver stupidly put the remaining fuel in his keg on top of the engine. It’s all those 16 sitter bus and 7 lives was ended in the bad incident. We haven’t moved much when the bus caught fire 🔥. Everyone was rushing to get out and some got burnt as they never make it out and that includes my aunt, aunty mi Bisi! My aunt got burnt along with her little beautiful boy, papa! Whom she’s was carrying on her back. I was in the last seat in the back and the bus had all this burglary windows. The fire was becoming much, then one spirit told me to walk thru it. The sound was very clear in my head and that was how I made it out with some burns on my body but it wasn’t much like that. Please always trust your instincts. We all have our guardian angel that goes everywhere with us. They are those little words that speaks to only and directed to you in every situation and moment we find ourselves in !!! Okay thoughts on Obsession: -The lighting and sound design... keeps you on your toes -The switch of Nikki/the entity from the one wish willow is incredible acting -Piggy backing off my last point, she’d make an incredible actress in any film. Her facial expressions, vocal range and emotional power driven through her voice is incredible -It was definitely made to be horror/comedy. -A few of the scenes had jumps that i thought I was prepared for but definitely was NOT -The Hansel and Gretel monologue and the party scene was executed so well it had me cringing -Subtle references to other horror films/horror history within it that make me want to give it another watch, maybe 5 more watches tbh -The scene screen capped was one of my favorites out of the entire film, my prime example of why her acting range in just this film alone is insane. Rosie passed on Saturday 4 weeks ago Rose had... surgery that resulted in her cancer coming out of remission. By last Saturday her little body was very close to having enough - with rapidly expanding tumours all over her rear end She was in pain and starting to become a different dog to the one I knew and loved On Saturday, I made the very sad decision to put Rose to sleep It was the hardest decision of my life and Rose fought all the way to the end. In a sad way she made me so proud In the truest sense of the word: Rose was a pioneer.
