“Everything is difficult. If you’re going to do something... important it’s going to take you a decade or more to have an impact. You might as well pick something you care about. Pick the really big thing. It’s always bothered me when I talked to entrepreneurs and they tell me about the thing they're working on and I ask: What do you *really* want to do? And they say well the big thing I want to do is actually this [other idea] But in their mind it’s a little too ambitious, it’s a little too difficult, they need more capital…. You should just go for that now. You might as well work on the thing that will have a major impact if it works.”show more

They actually outdid themselves with this Poketoon…I never expected... this today but it’s one of the best pieces of Pokemon anime to ever exist. I should expect it because it’s two of the best SV Pokémon, but just wow…the plot, emotions and animation are truly peak. The only thing I’d change is making Armarouge the shiny one because its blue eyes are so much better than Ceruledge’s unnoticeable shiny red eyes- So unnoticeable in fact that not a single one of those people see it and think “whoa that’s a shiny Ceruledge!I need to catch it because it’s so rare!”🤣show more

It’s all one big uni party. We need a 3rd party or the Republican Party must be completely dismantled and rebuilt by premiering every single Republican who currently holds office.show more

Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke: It’s impossible to make great... products if you don’t give a sh*t “Every product in the world, at the end of the day, is simply a reflection of how much the people who created it gave a sh*t… It is not possible to make great products if the people who work on it do not give a sh*t about the product.” Tobi continues: “I actually think this is a very important role for product leaders: To make sure that the team gives a sh*it… The product leader has to give a sh*t. Do not engage in work on a product that you don’t care about.” Tobi believes anyone who wants to build great products has two roles: 1. “You have to understand the thing that’s being done better than everyone else.” 2. “You’ve got to be exothermically infectious with actually caring about this thing because just that one thing alone will make a 10x better product. It’s crazy how much of a change this makes.” Video source: Lenny Rachitsky (2025)show more
