Eagles' Offense All22 vs. Rams thread. Buckle up. 1)... After charting every 3rd down, this was the only one I put the blame on Hurts for. He should make this throw. He has a clean pocket and a receiver breaking over the middle of the field. Gotta have it.show more

Eagles Offense All22 thread vs. Bucs. 1) It wasn't... perfect all game, but I think we have now reached the point with Hurts where I don't fear the blitz at all. The progression this year has been obvious. He is fine with free rushers in his face and will stand and deliver. This was a big 3rd down conversion on the 1st drive. It's another area of his game where he has made significant improvements.show more

Eagles Offense Super Bowl All22 vs. Chiefs. 1) I... thought Hurts used his legs exceptionally well in this game. He looked fast. I am perfectly fine with him reading one half of the field and taking off with his legs if nothing is open. Taking negative plays would have ruined this game plan. Hurts did a fantastic job keeping the offense on track throughout the game.show more

Eagles' Offense All22 Thread vs. Chargers. 1) Ah, what... could have been. The Eagles ran way more concepts this week, where they flooded one side of the field, which is good! No one is open here, so Hurts gets backside and plays buddy ball with AJ Brown. Sadly, AJ can't haul it in. It's unlike AJ not to make these tough catches, but he had a few rough drops in this one. This could have been a fantastic start. Sigh.show more

Eagles Offense All22 vs. 49ers. For the last time... this year, thank goodness. 1) The first play of the game. The Eagles shift AJ Brown into a tight split, bringing a defensive back into the box, who, of course, makes the tackle on Saquon Barkley. I was already worried about this film, but this didn't make me feel any better. It was a sign of things to come..show more

Watson is missing open receivers all over the field.... This play is infuriating. He's in a perfectly clean pocket and he has 2 receivers breaking open. Instead of pulling the trigger, he panics, tucks it and runs.show more

Breaking Down Hurts 4 Interceptions 3rd and 2, the... Eagles are in Empty. Hurts looks to the top and sees the blitzer, likely believing its Cover 0, which the Chargers showed on the previous drive. He tries to work the juke route to AJ and throws it with blind faith directly into a swarm of defenders. The entire game Hurts attempted to "throw over the middle with anticipation," but it led to erratic results.show more

The first 4th down decision Nick Sirianni made was... not only the right decision but it should have been a touchdown AJ Brown beats his man. He is running free towards the sideline and has room to go up field A better throw and the decision leads to Eagles being up 17-0show more

EAGLES JOINT PRACTICE MEGATHREAD: OFFENSE 1. Hurts to Goedert... for a 10 yd TD! Audibles into it. Mailata and Lane win on the edges, and Hurts has time to pick apart the defense for a nice over the middle dot. Jalen showing here that with time in-system, he can and does deliver.show more

Very quick Eagles Offense/Defense All22 Thread vs. Bengals with... some notes on the 53. 1) I didn't hate this Lemon route as much on the All22. He's never been a huge separator vs. press anyway, but I think he does a good job at the LOS beating the press and stacking the CB. At that point, I think he needs to do a better job faking that he is going inside rather than just looking inside, as the CB reads it all the way. Obviously, not an ideal first game, but I'm hardly panicking yet!show more

Dontayvion Wicks said postgame that he was actually running... a clear-out route on his 64-yard catch vs. WAS. The ball never came his way when they repped the play in practice. "It was always just getting out of the way, but you never know with 1 [Hurts.] He might put it up there and you gotta go get it." #Eaglesshow more

The pocket management issues continued to plague Cam Ward's... tape against Philadelphia Jalyx Hunt eventually comes free of Dan Moore here, but the middle of the pocket is squeaky clean for Cam to step into. He has cover 2 to the short side with Carnell Tate coming free across the middle, but he again bails on a clean pocket instead of stepping up and ripping a should-be touchdownshow more

We are back (sort of). Eagles Offense All22 vs.... Ravens (Preseason). Will update as I watch. 1) Very obvious statement, but the Eagles won't be able to run this offense with a TE duo of Calcaterra (possibly lucky not to get flagged here) and Stowers. Stowers' usage in this game was sort of bizarre, but I'm telling myself it's preseason so I don't overreact. In better news, look at Markel Bell's recovery at RT here to stop the DL from blowing it up in the backfield. He has such odd movement traits for a big man. He looks huge!show more

The way the #Bears defensive lineman came down on... #Eagles Jalen Hurts with full weight i thought was a fine worthy play. I know at one time you couldn’t come down and put all your weight on the QB the way it was on this play.show more

i think this was the moment minghao offered them... the water? bc he put it down after.. and turns out this was literally in the middle of the performance??? oh minghao 😭😭 (show more

Eagles Offense All22 thread vs. Packers. 1) The Eagles'... run game was not good, but they did have some success from under center & jumbo personnel. This is a fantastic vision by Barkley, who is playing at an incredibly high level. He does a great job to spot the cutback lane. The Eagles did not run play-action once from Jumbo personnel (11 total plays). We will get into that later.show more

I just feel it’s important to point this out... The only time Bama had a pulse on Offense was Keelon Russell doing things only he could do The fact this kid shouldered most of the blame after the loss, and not the coaching staff is absurdshow more
