👇Easy-ECG App: Easy-PVC + Easy-WPW Algorithms 👇 I submitted... the app to the App Store for free online release. Unfortunately, the Apple reviewers rejected it, stating that it is a “simple app.” They failed to understand that the goal of the Easy-ECG App is to simplify complex algorithms and make them accessible to everyone. They only needed to understand the name of the app! 😂 Here is an overview of the Easy-PVC App, where I have integrated my 5-page algorithm. My goal is to enable every physician to localize PVCs, allowing for better patient counseling and management. #EPeeps Please share this post—perhaps it will reach someone at AppleSupport . 👉 Our mission is to make medicine easier! I Built Tiktok for video games in 72hrs and... It went so VIRAL that investors started hitting my dms but it gets even crazier.. because this $1M app idea just turned into a $100M app idea the #1 suggestion i got from you guys on X Was to add multiplayer or local playing with friends to the games Bc that’s what actually makes Tiktok so addictive It’s the interaction with other users. comments, likes, reposts it's all multi-player. but of course that is a complicated task to add to our little app here. very complicated... Thats when the co-founder of reached out And said they are woking on a multiplayer feature for Rork To make this process an extremely easy. This is why Rork is the #1 app builder right now as far as updates on the app →i've added 5 more games to the feed (mostly classics!) → Started implementing the multiplayer UI to invite friends/match-making if you have any ideas for games or for the app drop your suggestions below!show more

This app uses AirDrop to send files from your... Android phone to your Macbook! Yes, it actually uses AirDrop. That means you don't have to install ANYTHING on your Mac to send files from your Android phone! Here's a video of a Galaxy Z Flip 5 AirDropping a file to a Macbook running macOS Ventura 13.5.1. (Thanks to u/FragmentedChicken for testing this app for me and sharing the video!) A few months ago, Twitter user @Linus13499209 brought an app called WarpShare to my attention. WarpShare is an app made by the developers of MoKee, an AOSP-based custom ROM that was popular in China. Since MoKee wasn't as popular outside of China, it seems the existence of their WarpShare app slipped under the radar. I was skeptical about whether it would work at all. Grishka, the developer of NearDrop, an open source port of Google's Nearby Share to macOS, told me that they were under the assumption that AirDrop requires the use of AWDL (Apple Wireless Direct Link, Apple's proprietary WiFi-based protocol) to communicate both ways. However, it seems that AWDL is only required for your Android phone to be discoverable by your Mac (ie. to send files from your Mac to your Android phone) but not the other way around. Because of this, though, WarpShare only supports sending files from Android to Mac but not vice versa. Your Mac also needs to have AirDrop discoverability set to "everyone" for this to work, as "contacts-only" requires Apple-signed certificates. Plus, it also doesn't support sending files from Android to iPhones or iPads, even when "everyone" mode is enabled. Still, if you find other Android --> Mac file sharing options to be lackluster, give WarpShare a try! The fact that it works at all is incredible, which is why I'm sharing this news here. If you want to download WarpShare on your Android device, you'll need to compile the app from its source code. If you're a Patron/X subscriber, however, I will share my compiled APK with you. I just sold my startup Talknotes for $200,000 on... acquire.com 💸🤯🤩💰🥳🎉 I launched it last August when I was looking for an idea I could grow with paid ads, and made a MVP in one week. I took it from $0 to $7500 MRR in just 11 months. 👉 Here is how I grew it from zero: 💡 Idea: I got the idea when I tried to write a tweet using Google Doc's transcription tool, but it was terrible. And I was pretty sure I wasn't the one too lazy to type. So I made my own solution, and Talknotes was created. The audience is pretty broad so it was a perfect fit for Meta ads However… ✅ Validation: My rule is to only reinvest what the project generates, so, no ads until I make enough cashflow ❌ Listing on startup directories + a few Twitter sales generated $700 after 10 days. Yes, it's not much, but more than enough to show there is interest in the product and tell me to keep working on it 🤩 I started adding the features users requested, but the launch effect started to wear off and daily revenues quickly went to $0 after a few weeks 🫥 I got depressed and almost gave up on the app... 😔 But luckily, my friends and Dan Kulkov pushed me to continue And I'm glad they did because In October, I launched on Product Hunt 😸 and it blew up 🤯 It got Product of the Day and reached $1500 MRR thanks to the media coverage 🚀🚀 Until then, everything was done using vanilla JS/CSS/HTML + Node for back end. It's simple and easy, but I saw the limitations, so I remade the app using Nuxt to make it easier in the future 🏗️ (thanks to @blackevilgoblin and Piotr Jura for the content/courses! Tim Bennetto as well for the basics!) After that, I took a break and then launched ads on Facebook. The strategy is simple: Catch people's attention, and show them how the app can help them improve their life. No need to over-complicate 🙅♂️ Making good creatives is 80% of the job when doing ads on Facebook, most of the technical stuff is done by AI now. Thanks to the boost in traffic, I implemented a feedback loop: 1) Get new users 👥 2) Learn to know them with the onboarding form 💬 3) Make more ads based on the data you get from onboarding 📝 And it completely blew up. MRR doubled in ~2 months However... In May, I had a bad burnout 🥵😩 Multiple bugs slipped into the app, and I had to spend 2 days fixing everything in an emergency while revenues plummeted. This completely fucked me up mentally and had a hard time working on the app after that ( 💀💀 So I decided to list it on acquire.com and made a Twitter post ( I listed it for $200,000, a pretty low price considering the revenues and fast growth. I could have gotten $300,000 if I accepted payment over time, but $200,000 today is better than $300,000 tomorrow for me. 🚨 The process went smoothly until we tried to use Escrow, which almost fucked up the whole deal. (details: I got extremely lucky because the buyer really wanted to buy the app, but this could have ended the deal. We had to wait over a week to get the money back from them, even tho they said they already refunded it. But luckily, after threatening them, they sent it back the next day 🙃 The buyer finally got the money back, I transferred every asset to him, and he sent me the wire. With the profit made from the app + the sale, and other projects, I'm 30% away from being a millionaire 🤯 With this amount, I can pretty much retire in Asia if I want to. But that's just the beginning, I’m going to launch new projects soon! 🚀 But before that, I need to take a real vacation and detox. My brain is completely fucked up by those last 2 months. I gained weight, and got brain rot from scrolling all day waiting for the acquisition to move forward 💀💀 Surprisingly, doing absolutely nothing is 10x more exhausting than working 15h per day 🥱 Now, all this might sound like an overnight success. It is not ‼️ This is the result of 7 years of failure and working like a madman. I launched over 40 projects in those 7 years, and most of them failed. But a few took off, and that’s all I needed All those weeks working 15h/day without weekends and vacation feels soul-sucking when you don’t see the end, but this is what took me there You only need to win once to snowball everything. Work hard, focus, fail a lot and keep shipping fast. 🚀🚀 Thanks to you for reading until here, and thanks to everyone who supported me 🤞show more

INTRODUCTION TO THE STOCK MARKET The stock market is... a place where individuals and institutions buy and sell ownership in companies (called shares or stocks). When you buy a share, you’re essentially buying a small piece of that company and participating in its growth, profits, and risks. People invest in the stock market to grow wealth over time, earn dividends, protect against inflation, and build long-term financial security. Unlike short-term trading, investing focuses on patience, discipline, and owning quality businesses. --- INTRODUCTION TO THE NIGERIAN STOCK MARKET (NGX) The Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) is Nigeria’s official stock exchange, where publicly listed Nigerian companies trade their shares. It hosts banks, telecoms, industrial firms, consumer goods companies, oil & gas firms, and more. Through the NGX, everyday Nigerians can own parts of companies like banks, manufacturing firms, telecom operators, and other major businesses driving the economy. Returns come from: Capital appreciation (share price increases) Dividends (cash payouts from profits) The NGX is regulated, structured, and accessible to both local and foreign investors through licensed platforms. --- HOW TO GET STARTED INVESTING IN NGX (TWO SIMPLE WAYS) Today, you don’t need to walk into a stockbroking office. You can get started fully online using digital investment platforms. Below are two popular and easy options that I personally use; --- 1) GETTING STARTED WITH BAMBOO Bamboo Bamboo is a digital investment app that allows Nigerians to invest in Nigerian stocks (NGX) and foreign stocks. Steps to get started: 1. Download the Bamboo app from the App Store or Google Play. 2. Create an account with your email and phone number. 3. Complete KYC verification Input your BVN Provide personal details 4. Fund your wallet via bank transfer. 5. Search for Nigerian stocks listed on NGX and place your first buy order. 👉 Referral code: ngxinvestor Bamboo is beginner-friendly and suitable for people who want a simple interface and access to both local and global markets. When done with registration to buy stocks on Bamboo, select the " Invest " icon on the bottom part of the screen, you will see that you can invest in USD or Naira assets, click on Naira, then select NG stocks, search for the stock of your choice and buy --- 2) GETTING STARTED WITH I-INVEST i-invest I-Invest is an official platform that allows Nigerians to invest in Nigerian stocks, Commercial Papers,Mutual Funds,USD Bonds etc... Steps to get started: 1. Visit the I-Invest website or download the app on App Store or Google Play. 2. Create an account 3. Complete required KYC documentation: BVN Valid ID Bank details Proof of Address etc... 4. Fund your account. 5. Start buying NGX-listed stocks directly through the app. 👉 Referral code: 22406 I-Invest is ideal for investors who want more Investment options because you can also invest in fixed deposit notes, commercial papers,USD Bonds ,life insurance etc.. After registration to buy shares ,click on " Invest " then select " Equities " ,then search the company of your choice then select "buy equities" --- FINAL NOTES FOR BEGINNERS Start small and grow with experience. Focus on learning before chasing quick profits. Invest in businesses you understand. Think long-term, not overnight success. The most important step is starting — clarity and confidence come with time and consistency. The first video is for bamboo Bamboo The second video is for I-Invest i-invest Please if anyone has any more questions please comment and I'll try to reply, and if you can DM I'll appreciate if you guys can use my referral codesshow more

over the weekend, i built an app that i... sincerely hope you will never have a need for, but if you do happen to need a friendly, free, private mri viewer designed to make it easy for you to track tumor progression, you can try it here: here's the story: as some of you may know, last last september, my six year old daughter mira was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor called an adamatinomatous craniopharyngioma, and since then our family has been doing everything we can possibly do to find a cure for her. we tortured chatgpt deep research, put together our own private research team, raised $1.4M and donated it all to Hankinson-Mitra Lab research thanks to $MIRA, explored every remotely applicable drug whether on the market or not, and even began working with md anderson to develop a personalized vaccine that we hope can lead to a more permanent cure unfortunately, we received the devastating news last march that the tumor has continued to grow since her initial surgery, and we had to start to consider more drastic options which would have seriously impacted mira’s quality of life. thankfully, with the help of dr. sabine mueller UCSF Benioff SF and the Hankinson-Mitra Lab at the university of colorado, in april, we started her on an alternative but extremely experimental treatment for this disease. to our unimaginable relief, her tumor has responded extraordinarily well to this treatment which combines tocilizumab (an arthritis drug that blocks IL6 receptors) with avastin (a colon cancer drug that inhibhits VEGF proteins). we know this, because mira gets an MRI scan of her brain every few months. and every time we get a new scan, the first thing we do is compare it against her last scan. so we have to find the matching weight of the scan, and then find the same plane, and then carefully find the slices of the scan where the tumor is visible, and then find the closest match to last month’s scan, then adjust the zoom, rotation, and brightness / contrast so they all look the same. we got pretty good at this. but it shouldn't be this hard. so i built last weekend using gemini 3 with some gpt 5.2 xhigh. you just import your DICOM MRI files (either zip, files or a folder), and you can align all of your scans across multiple dates instantly, just click and drag a rectangle around the tumor on any image, and it will use some very clever algorithms to automatically align up and find the closest matching slice from all your other scans, match the brightness / contrast, rotation, pan, zoom, and even shear to make sure the registration is as close as possible, and make it as easy to possible to compare tumor progression. it has a grid view so you can see all your scans for the same location all at once, and an overlay view so you can quickly compare two scans visually (by holding down the space bar to toggle quickly between two scans), along with tools to animate your scans both within the same sequence as well as over multiple scans to show progression. there is no server, it runs entirely locally on your browser - nothing ever gets uploaded and it's all open source: if you've found this useful, please consider a donation to the UCSF Benioff SF hospital foundation, who has given us extraordinary care over the past year or so:show more

Uber is Dead, my reflections on Waymo I’ve been... in San Francisco for just over a week, during which I’ve taken 7 rides with Waymo, a similar number with Uber, and a few with FSD Teslas. My journey to SFO via Uber was alarming—the driver veered out of the lane multiple times and nearly crashed on a ramp, seemingly vying for a one-star rating or to genuinely scare me. Conversely, my experiences with Waymo were virtually flawless, if you don’t consider overly cautious driving a fault. I experienced a minor hiccup when we got stuck behind parked cars because the vehicle thought they were queuing at a red light. It quickly resolved the confusion and moved on, which was rather amusing. Waymo, and other Level 5 autonomous vehicles, are poised to revolutionize the movement of people and goods. The most apt analogy I can think of is that Waymo is transforming the real world into an automated Amazon warehouse, with people as the goods and Waymo vehicles as the robots shuttling them around. With the advent of personal transportation becoming incredibly affordable, sending anything from point A to point B using a self-driving electric vehicle will soon be within easy reach. One of Waymo’s standout features is privacy. Riding in an Uber often means being subjected to the driver’s loud group chats on some app, making the journey neither quiet nor private. In contrast, Waymo offers a fully private experience, allowing you to have confidential phone conversations or chat freely with fellow passengers without distraction. Waymo also reimagines the concept of a car. Without the need for a driver, we can eliminate the front console, reduce weight, and remove the steering wheel. This opens up possibilities for passenger seats to be reoriented, perhaps facing backwards, or for the vehicle to become a mobile living room. Tomorrow’s vehicle designs will differ drastically from today’s. Destinations that are currently expensive and logistically complicated to reach via Taxi/Uber, often lying outside public transport routes, can be simplified to a single “Waymo” journey. This could shift the current model of “Uber + public transport + Uber” to a more streamlined experience. As more cars become self-driving, we could see a reduction in the amount of time cars are parked—from 99% of their lifetime to perhaps just 25%. This not only improves unit economics but could also decrease the number of cars on the road. This transition represents one of the most significant shifts for Generation X. In conclusion, the future is autonomous, electric, and efficient. Uber, as we know it, is dead.show more

My girls built a Lemonade stand. Creating core memories... this summer, by building a lemonade stand from a reclaimed barn door. Painting and prepping lemonade My oldest, Sky Lou, is 6, and I wanted to teach her about entrepreneurship this summer. That meant, starting with the basics. Come up with an idea, ideate on the idea, write down our goals. Try to understand the total investment, both time and money needed. We had a solid idea for a stall, that could sell lemonade and/or trinkets. We got an old door from grandpa instead of sending it off to be chipped to bits. We used Pinterest to collect ideas for the stand itself, we started long before summer. we talked about what I could help with, be what she and her sister had to do on their own. Once’s we had a 1 page document with the idea and design for the stand itself. we built it in an afternoon, and painted in the morning after. Sky Lou used her own money to buy 3kilogram of lemons, and 1kg of sugar (roughly $11) she got wood from grandpa, paint from a left over bucket in the basement. she bought paper cups, re-usable ice cubes that also includes 4 plastic reusable cups. She spent a morning boiling the lemonade base with water and sugar and lemon juice and zest. we managed to find 6 glass jars that we disinfected and used to pour and keep the lemonade base. She made her own ice and found some trinkets around the house to make her stand look more presentable. Little sister Poppy Mae wanted to participate so she painted flower cards with her water color supplies. I then used Perplexity Computer to together with Sky Lou, decide on a small app we could use to track sales and overall business metrics. Perplexity Computer made easy work out of that, built a kids friendly app, big buttons, COGS, inventory and simple CRM to send thank you messages to customers. Absolutely insane what AI can do, even me that have the skills to build that app, would not find the time to do it. Yet Perplexity did it while we played games and listen to music. So after 1 day of business she recorded $20 in sales, at $8 in profits. She still has 21 servings left, that if sold will put her at almost $45 in total profits. She still has about 800 grams left of sugar, and 1kg of Lemons. Poppy Mae sold 6 flower cards in one day, having no investment cost at all, just her time painting the cards.show more

I’m less than 100 followers away from 10,000. That... number might be arbitrary to some people… but to me, it’s not. Almost three years ago when I started this journey on X, I wrote “10,000” on a Post-It note and stuck it where I could see it every day. It was a goal. A milestone. A promise to myself. I’ve never used bots. Never joined engagement groups. Never done follow-for-follow. Never manipulated the system. For nearly three years, what you’ve gotten is just me, my creativity, my thoughts, my ideas, my humor, my critiques, my communities, my Spaces, my encouragement when I see you show up on the timeline. X is not an easy platform to grow on. In fact, I think it’s one of the hardest. Building something authentic here takes time, resilience, and thick skin. There have been ups and downs. There have been moments of doubt. Even these last 100 followers have felt like a climb. But I’m still pushing. Because I know I can get there. That Post-It note had other goals on it too. One of them was earning a living here. That hasn’t happened yet. But I still believe it’s possible. I just don’t know when. Through it all, I’ve stayed positive. Even when I’ve offered critiques, they’ve come from a place of love for this platform and belief in what it can become. I’m thankful for Elon. I’m thankful for the X team. But most of all, I’m thankful for you. My followers. My subscribers. My audience. My friends. When I’m lonely. When I’m tired. When I just need connection. I know I can open this app… and you’re there. Tonight, as I’m laying in bed thinking about how close this milestone is, I just feel gratitude. Thank you for walking this road with me. Peace out, everybody. Have a great night or a beautiful morning whenever this finds you.show more

VTubing is for everyone! I don't like to bring... this up, but recent events in the VTuber community made some people really vile. I had my M&G at HolMat last week and had people come up and just yell at me for being a girl in the "womans world", that is VTubing, no idea about who I was, or why I was there. I had the same group return to my handler multiple times, I felt really worried about the person carrying me around having to deal with this repeatedly and tried to steer them away from the group. It seems they found my YT and left me a handful of the same comments, luckily all caught by moderation tools. While I will refrain from M&G's for a little until this calms down I want to say this; I have been managing for over 1.5 years now, I deliberately take on male VTubers to show them that they can still do it. I take on people that have babiniku accounts, those that are changing from one gender presentation to another and want help, and those that have no gender presentation in their avatar. A lot of male VTubers struggle to find a manager because the stereotype is that all male VTubers are evil and it perpetuates a stereotype that extends beyond entertainment industry subcultures like streaming. VTubing has always been a medium, while character and marketing matters, it's about what makes you happy, YOU are the person that makes the content. Use whatever you want as an avatar, use a voice changer if that's what you want to do. Every month I have a male client bring up they can't do it the same way, that it's easier if jiggle physics or a cute voice is the answer to fast growth. And I tell them yeah, I can also do ASMR, I can do drama content, collab with a larger person, and get to x amount of viewers. There are shortcuts in every entertainment profession and subculture. Does it last? Do quick fixes for anything ever last? Yes, great physics and an expensive model can get people in, but if your value, your way of interacting with people, your content plan and marketing is ass, you can pack up. Most of us start on a small budget, premade or resold models, and it's the same in the big league entertainment industry too. Can I take out a loan and put myself on a billboard tomorrow, can I pay the most expensive model artist and rigger and get in along corporate VTubers tomorrow? Sure. Will it last, will it be genuine, will people trust me? Hell no. Genuine communities and growth build trust. I think streaming, creative industries, entertainment, are full of people, regardless of gender, that will see success and call it "easy", because of what they see as the end product. They don't see most VTubers working a second job, they don't see the managers, they don't see 100+ hours a month going into content production, years invested in singing and voice lessons, model redebut after redebut. I think a lot of male VTubers get a bad rep, because so many boys are raised without putting emphasis on empathy and creativity, watching my brothers be told they should not pursue art, that theatre class is a waste of time, and that they needed to go study x or y to make money for their families in the future was heartbreaking. Nobody should have to look at others and feel so much hatred for society they turn against a whole group of people. If you want to pursue entertainment, please do. If you want to grow and try and make a name for yourself, you should start there, not with yelling about how you already failed. "Oh but I can't", "Oh but the odds are stacked against me", look at the big streamers, look at Ironmouse who overcame everything with hard work, look at Kiara who rose from the ashes, look at everyone that fights against their odds every day and give it your all. If you already think you lost, then you have nothing to lose. Don't give up on your dreams because others tell you to.show more

whoever leaked this has bigger balls than sense SpaceXAI... shipped five hireable workers for $200 a month, then wrote the catch into its own Grok Bot documentation and left the page up: all five run on one computer, so one sign-in hands the browser session, the files and the command-line credentials to every one of them the NSA, CISA and the cyber agencies of the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand had published the opposite instruction 103 days earlier: no broad or unrestricted access, low-risk and non-sensitive work only i ran four of mine on one account for a week, counting what each could reach: eleven signed-in apps, one browser profile, and deleting a bot left all of it standing Grok Bot is worth hiring five times over, and you can draw its blast radius before the second one exists: - sign in for the bot that needs the site, then open the others and see what they reach: that session is theirs the moment it exists - give each bot its own account on the app, since the docs tell you in writing to stop using separate bots as a security boundary - put the stop line in the description, as an approval controls the proposed action and leaves whatever already ran where it landed - cap the spend outside the product, because there is no bot-specific spend cap yet and the audit view of what they did is still coming - keep the money and the customer replies in your own hands, and let the other four start from scratch each morning on work that cannot bite one sign-in is also why this pays: five names finish inside your real tools instead of handing you drafts to paste my take, and it is the uncomfortable one: your real limit on Grok Bot is how many logins you will put on one machine, and the hiring was always the easy half bookmark this, the five descriptions that let bots hand work to each other and the one folder that survives an update are written out in the article ↓show more

I also want to acknowledge the following GCV ambassadors for their active dedication and contributions to this conference: **GCV Ambassador of China:** - Yang Zhizhong - Cai Zaiqiao **Ambassadors of Guizhou Province GCV:** - Wang Shiqiong - Cai Weisheng - Guo Jiaqing **Zunyi GCV Ambassadors:** - Wang Jianbo - Luo Nanlu **GCV ambassadors at the district and county level in Zunyi City** Additionally, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to our numerous GCV merchants and sponsors. Without your support, we would not have been able to hold such a grand and large-scale event. Today's gathering in Zunyi, a sacred site of the revolution, reminds me of the Red Army's 25,000-mile Long March. Their perseverance and sacrifice continue to inspire us. The Zunyi Conference took place from January 15 to 17, 1935, and exactly 90 years later, we are gathered here today. The defining characteristics of the Zunyi Conference included the commitment to uphold the truth, correct mistakes, establish the correct leadership of the Party Central Committee, and creatively develop and implement strategies that fit the nature of the Chinese revolution. Today, our Zunyi Conference will also be recorded in the history of blockchain, as every effort you have put in has contributed to building a strong network ecosystem. Our partial fiat and partial distribution policy serves as a solution for the rapid development of the ecosystem during the closed mainnet of the Pi Network. As we all know, the first quarter of this year will bring about the successful mainnet launch of Pi Network. After six long years of challenges and perseverance, all of our pioneers will have the opportunity to witness this significant historical moment. What an exciting and proud day this will be! It has not been easy for everyone to persist through these six years; it requires great blessings, unwavering faith, and the courage to overcome difficulties. Today, our pioneers in Zunyi, Guizhou Province, gathering for this GCV barter conference holds great significance. I see that ten companies are providing products for barter, with nine companies, including Guizhou Meitan County Daoqin Hospital and Barter Huishang (Guizhou) Digital Economy Industry Group Co., Ltd., sponsoring this event. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you. The GCV Barter Conference serves multiple purposes. It is not only about creating GCV data or demonstrating the strength of our China region to CT, but also about showing how closely we align with their vision and mission. Additionally, it provides robust evidence for a substantial number of KYC and migration initiatives in China. More importantly, what we do today aims to boost China’s future economic development. Once the main network of the Pi Network is launched, we anticipate a significant demand for Chinese products from numerous international pioneers, which will in turn generate a large volume of export orders. At the same time, there will be international merchants looking to export their products to China. Once OM, import and export transactions will be conducted using the new currency, facilitating the vision of a stable currency and enabling seamless and reliable exchanges with fiat currency. Therefore, the merchants who engage now will have the advantage of being early adopters. The Pi Network offers a partner program and a MapofPi program. To participate in the partnership, businesses are required to have a company website. We invite businesses with websites to join us. However, if you do not have a company website, you can still join the Mapofpi program, which encompasses a wide range of industries, allowing participation from both large companies and small traders. Registration for the Mapofpi does not require a business license or website; various entities including shops, hospitals, schools, hair salons, accounting firms, law firms, restaurants, and hotels are welcome to register. Please select an active merchant and support GCV at $314,159. Prior to the OM launch, it is advisable to use partial fiat currency and partial Pi to ensure that merchants can cover their costs and fulfill their tax obligations. Recently, on January 9, we established the China GCV Industry Chain Alliance, which aims to create an industrial chain that facilitates the circulation of Pi among merchants, thereby reducing the burden of exchanging fiat currency after OM. During the enclosed mainnet, you can assist merchants in registering as Pi Network Partners and Mapofpi . Ms. Lumari is our Global GCV CT executive director and her goal is to have 200,000 registered Mapofpi merchants worldwide. My personal target is to reach 100,000 registered merchants in China alone. This goal is achievable given the over 58 million enterprises and more than 20 million pioneers in China. If we can effectively convey that Pi Network WEB 3.0 blockchain technology will significantly enhance human productivity and that the business opportunities from accepting partial Pi and partial FIAT during the 60 days before OM will present numerous benefits and minimal risks to merchants, then it is likely that no merchant will be unfavorably surprised by the initiative. This strategy offers a multitude of advantages with virtually no downsides. Furthermore, it benefits pioneers by allowing them to transfer purchasing power to the community and minimize fiat currency expenses in their daily life. Consequently, the GCV data we generate will significantly benefit the Chinese pioneers, as a large number of registered merchants can transform the China region from a high-risk area to a safe zone. Not only can this region be promoted to a VIP area, which would enjoy expedited KYC and mapping processes, but it will also allow pioneers and merchants to thrive together in our ecosystem. This collaboration will enhance the prosperity of our country and empower the China region to contribute to the welfare of communities worldwide. Once OM, it will play a crucial role in the economic development of both China and the world. If you pay attention to our migrartion speed, you might have noticed that it has slowed down recently. From December 17th to around the 30th, the migrating speed was over 50,000 to 100,000 per day, but now it has dropped to just over 10,000. What is the reason for this decline? If it was previously possible to migrate over 100,000 per day, why has it changed? The CT has stated that they will OM until the first quarter of this year to bring the migratiion in line with KYC amounts. However, if it's technically feasible to achieve a higher migration speed, why isn’t it being done? The answer is quite simple: it depends on what everyone does with the Pi after such large migration numbers. If pioneers rush to buy and sell, hold onto their Pi coins, or trade at low value, it will impact the speed and efficiency of the next migration in these regions. This principle is not only theoretically valid but has proven true in practice. For instance, countries like the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia have a solid educational foundation in GCV. Most pioneers there are highly aware of the risks involved in participating in the black market, which allows them to generate a substantial amount of GCV data. As a result, their migration speed is notably fast, and there are many large wallet migrated. To help the CT regain momentum, we all need to cooperate. Engage with the migrated Pi and participate in the GCV barter ecosystem. Be cautious of individuals who aim to deceive you for personal gain; devaluing the Pi often serves as a tactic to exchange something small for your valuable treasure. It's crucial to educate pioneers about the true value of what they hold and encourage them to avoid dishonest practices. I urge everyone to actively participate in partial Pi and partial FIAT barter. The more GCV data we generate, the more secure our wallets will be. Therefore, it's important for everyone to read and share the Pioneer Handbook I wrote which has been translated into 30 languages to raise awareness among pioneers. By learning from the Pioneer Handbook and participating in GCV bartering, we can improve China's migration efforts and foster ecological development. This stability can ensure that the value of our Pi endures for future generations, rather than becoming worthless in a few years. Wouldn't that be something we want to preserve for our children and grandchildren? Today's message is lengthy but very important, and I hope you take the time to understand it. I wish our Guizhou Zunyi Conference great success! Thank you to all GCV Ambassadors, Merchants, and Pioneers for your incredible support! Your efforts today are planting the seeds for a prosperous future, and I hope you find safety and fulfillment in the days to come. May your wishes come true! Wishing you health and happiness! Let’s work together to create a better future! I also hope you all have a joyful Chinese New Year! Doris Yin 🪷🪷🪷 Founder, Global GCV Movement January 12, 2025show more

A case of two coronary scans: Nick Norwitz (high-fat,... keto 🍳); Simon Hill (plant-based 🌱) First, for context, this post is largely in response to an incredibly nuanced and non-dogmatic podcast conversation between Dave Feldman and Darius Sharpe, one that had me scratching my chin and holding my ribs throughout. I definitely recommend giving it a listen. 12/10 Episode! They spend a substantial amount of time discussing cardiovascular risk and, in particular, the contrast between my coronary CT scan, showing 0 calcified and 0 soft plaque (total plaque 0mm3) despite astronomical LDL levels in the high 500s for seven years vs that of plant-based nutrition influencer Simon Hill, which showed 61.3 mm3 of plaque despite his never having had high LDL and, for the last decade or so, targeting exceptionally low LDL and ApoB, including by taking a PCSK9 inhibitor and eating a low-saturated-fat, plant-forward diet. First and foremost, there’s only so much you can conclude from a comparison of two cases. That’s obvious, so let me state that clearly. However, considering the broader context and expressed public interested, it’s still an interesting thought puzzle: What is “protecting” me from atherosclerosis, or what is leading Simon to develop plaque despite his low LDL and ApoB? I’ll address the common hand-wavy answer up front: “Well, maybe Nick has some special protective genetics.” What I’d say to this is that, although I can’t rule it out definitively since we haven’t annotated the entire human genome, my father had 99% occlusion of his left anterior descending artery at 44, and I also inherited his high Lp(a), which sits between 150 and 200. That is in addition to my historically exceptionally high LDL and a history of inflammatory bowel disease, which should further increase my risk of progression. Yet despite all of that, I have no measurable plaque, even though, as the patient, I can tell you that many cardiologists assured me I would. Additionally, the excuse that “he’s just young” doesn’t fly, since Simon is also young. We’re both in our 30s. And, as a historical comparator, children with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia can develop plaque within a few years of being born. So, puzzle me this: Why am I not developing plaque if the relationship between LDL/ApoB exposure and plaque progression is so "remarkably consistent?" Hand-wave if you want, but I’d like something more specific please. (And I’d like anybody to tell me why they think I was confident enough to spend seven years on a self-experiment, risking my heart on the bet that this would effectively be the outcome. Was I just cocky and lucky?) That’s mostly what I want to post: a thought question to consider based on two individuals who have chosen to make their data publicly available. However, since this field is so wrapped in controversy, let me elaborate on a few more points that are related. 1. KETO-CTA. To anyone who wants to pivot and try to point the finger at KETO-CTA, I will remind you that, in 4 separate analyses, there was no relationship between LDL or ApoB and plaque progression. That remains true to this day. In fact, it's a result that remains more robust for having had our hands forced to run the additional analyses. With respect to our retraction of the April 7th Cleerly paper, which continues to be misrepresented (at this point, I have to assume willfully) I will remind you: i) we the authors, pushed forward the retraction of the April 7 paper; it was not forced upon us ii) we did so because of the Cleerly anomalies that came to light after publication – nb: Dave and I were blinded to elements of data willfully to protect the integrity of the project (there’s an irony for you) iii) we sought retraction only after company’s refusal to repeat a properly blinded rescan and quality assessment, and subsequent analyses that made the only reasonable interpretation that Cleerly systematically overestimated plaque progression iv) in none of the analyses did ApoB or LDL predict plaque progression, which was the main novel finding and remains robust. 2. Ezetimibe I am now taking ezetimibe. Critics have tried to cast this - incorrectly - as some form of me hedging, but I intentionally did not start it until after my 7-year scan, and I am not withholding any information from or about that scan. The reason I’m taking ezetimibe, which I have very clearly disclosed, including in my newsletter and in a video, is 2024 Aging Biology research suggesting cholesterol-independent effects on neuroprotection, which is something that’s important to me. The fact that I am taking it, I would cast as a testament that I’m not dogmatic on this issue, and I’m not trying to “LDL-maxx” for some aware. Rather, I’m being open, honest and transparent in my journey as a person and patient trying to make the best decision for myself at ever step of the journey. Also, on the topic of ezetimibe, see recent work by Adrian Soto-Mota DoctorTro et al., which adds another layer of nuance to LDL and ApoB management in the context of low-carbohydrate diets. TL;DR, if someone sees their LDL and ApoB rise on a low-carbohydrate / ketogenic diet, ezetimibe is likely to punch above its weight for LDL and ApoB reduction. Setting aside dogma, understanding individual biology and how to manipulate it can often be very useful in a clinical setting. I will always put data first. Acknowledging this fact is not contradictory to anything I’ve said, but completely consistent with it. It is all about individual context. Now, everyone should go listen to episode 43 of TFP_ with Dave Feldman and Darius Sharpe (Spotify, Apple and YouTube). It’s stupendous! P.S. I want to thank Dave for sharing on the podcast that, before each of my cardiac scans, I said a priori that I would release the results, whatever they were. You all know Dave to be impeccably honest. That is not in dispute, and it has always been my intent to share my data openly, as I have.show more
