We recorded the outro to Trust Ceremony in 𝖈𝖆𝖈𝖔... (𝓵𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓮𝓹 𝓮𝓻𝓪) 🌸 ‘s bedroom near the end of this last tour. It was one of the last things that was recorded for the album. After YEARS of working on this album mostly alone, and spending the entire tour kinda isolating myself to get it done in time, it was really cathartic getting to finish it off with my friends. Now everytime I listen to it, I’ll remember this little moment of celebrating all our hard work on that tour. It’s a reminder that even in the things that I must do alone, I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who are rooting for me at every step :’) Anyways, all that is to say that we all sobbed when we finally listened to the album and reached the endshow more

Osprey‘s might be the best avian anglers that exist,... but when it comes to aquatic mammals, dolphins are definitely top on the list. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days watching a pair of dolphins who almost seemed to be constantly showing off and playing with their food.show more

Eish! I'm sorry that I will not be at... The Gathering with Daily Maverick. We were all on board, ready to take off on the connection from Newark to Johannesburg on Tuesday evening. Just before take-off, we had to disembark because of a "technical problem." 3 hours later, it was meal and hotel vouchers😴. The rescheduled flight took off on Wednesday afternoon, too late for me to make it on time. Making matters worse was that I was scheduled to return to DC immediately after The Gathering. It wasn't meant to be. I am sorry to miss this enriching event- and a chance to breathe home air! Next time.show more
