I need to be real with ya'll, I'm disappointed... with the Shapeless Man edit style. I just realized that the lines on his body are completely still and don't move at all. That was one of the coolest features of the Shapeless Man and it made him look a lot more creepy & shapeless. Not sure why they chose to make the lines still, but if the style can be updated to have the moving lines that would be amazing. The eyes also just being solid yellow instead of the yellow & orange gradient bugs me a bit too. I really don't want to complain, but I'm kinda let down with this style. The rest of the set is fire, no complaints from me there, it's just the Shapeless Man style.show more

This art piece titled “Can’t Help Myself” is programmed... to try to contain the hydraulic fluid that’s constantly leaking out and required to keep itself running… if too much escapes it will die, so it’s desperately trying to pull it back to continue to fight for another day. saddest part is they gave the robot the ability to do ‘happy dances’ for spectators while the spill was contained. When the project was first launched in 2016, it danced around spending most of its time interacting with the crowd with exuberance, since it could quickly pull back the small spillage. many years later it looks worn down and hopeless, because the amount of leaked fluid became unmanageable as the spill grew over time. There now isn’t enough time to dance, as it only has enough time to try to keep it self alive. living its last days in a never-ending cycle between sustaining life and simultaneously bleeding out. the arm slowly came to a halt and died in 2019, but with a twist; the robot actually runs off of electricity, not hydraulics, so it was working its entire life towards some thing it didn’t even need, tricked by the system it was brought into. Trooper’s journey is an absolute miracle. We rescued him... at just 7 months old after he had eaten ropes and coconut husks out of pure desperation on the streets. Things were incredibly dire. His small intestine had been twisted for about 10 days and had actually started to rot. The surgery to save him was brutal. The doctor found 150 ml of inflammatory fluid in his abdomen, and his spleen and pancreas were severely inflamed. They had to remove about 1.2 meters of his intestine, leaving him with only a tiny fraction of what a normal dog has. He was in critical care for a week, but those amazing vets saved his life! Fast forward almost a year: Trooper is a super healthy, incredibly happy boy. Because his intestine is now so short, he has some trouble with nutrient absorption and requires a special diet of easily digested food and supplements for the rest of his life. But honestly?
